Method and machine for drilling in rock and other hard materials using rotating tools. As is well known, electrically or pireumatiseh operated machines for bobsled with rotating tools can be used in mining, if soft or medium-hard rock is involved, such as coal, potash salts and limestone.
To help with the Maseliine, which looks more cheap than the hammer drill. rotating drill, also in hard stones, one has tried to press the drill with a considerable pressure of about 1400 to 1600 kg using a compressed air pressure cylinder against the rock, the pressure cylinder in Connection with a double-armed "breakdown column" was used.
Nran was able to achieve considerably faster drilling work, but the saved working time. --in- lost again by the fact that the pressure cylinder and the tensioning column are rearranged and the latter are newly anchored during (lei, production of each new borehole, and these devices have considerable weight, so that handling them is difficult .
7: s is. It has also already been proposed, in addition to the device for constantly acting anelruek of the drill against the drill bottom, also use an auxiliary device which produces an additional drilling pressure and exerts an oscillating pressure on the drill. However, this facility could not be effective because the oscillator's beat rate was not high enough.
The invention now relates to a method for drilling in rock and other corresponding hard materials by means of a drilling machine with a rotating tool and an auxiliary device for generating an oscillating drilling pressure acting on the drilling device, which according to the invention beats at a rate of over 2000 beats / min . is exercised.
The invention also relates to a machine for execution. of the above-mentioned process, which is independent of the motor for rotating the tool with a frequency of oscillation of over 2000 saw saws / min. and has a stroke motor operating from 10 to 20 mm.
The drawing shows several exemplary embodiments of the machine according to the invention, namely Fig. 1. A section through a rock drilling machine with a rotating drill and a built-in vibrator that works directly on the drill rod.
Fig. 2 shows a similar machine, but with a different design of the drill string. Vehicle 3 is a further embodiment in which the vibrator acts on the housing of the drill.
4 is a further embodiment with a shock absorber inserted between the vibrator and the drilling machine for indirect transmission of the impacts of the vibrator to the drill rod.
FIG. 5 shows a fourth embodiment, and FIG. 6 is a section in the direction of the line VI-VI in FIG. 5.
In all embodiments. 1. the housing of a drilling machine with a rotating drill bit for drilling rock and other hard _N'erkstoffen, such as. B. coal, hard salt, in which the rotor 2 is installed in a known manner. The rotor for turning the drill is driven by compressed air. The rotor sits on a shaft 3, with which it is connected by the thread 1, the shaft 3 runs in ball bearings 5, and a ver adjustable screw connection 6 is used to set a smooth run of the shaft 3 and the rotor 2 in the housing, which is screwed into the cover of the housing 1 and in the respective setting position by an adjusting screw 7 can be determined.
The shaft is pierced in the axial direction, namely the hole in the front part 8 cylin drisch, however, in the rear part 9 four angular. It is used to hold the drill 10, the insertion end also with. a cylindrical and a square rear part is provided. The spigot end can be moved easily in the axial direction in the bore of the shaft 3, but fits snugly in the square so that the drill is carried along without play when the rotor rotates. So far the facility is known.
According to FIG. 1, a vibrator 7.1 is now attached to the rear end of the drilling machine housing, the piston 12 of which is unabliäxi-ig moved by the drive of the rotor by compressed air.
A ball valve 13 inserted into the compressed air supply line causes the piston to move forwards and backwards in very rapid succession in a known manner, as it expands at the end of each stroke as a result of the pressure exerted at this point in time the pressurized cylinder space is switched through the then opened outflow openings. The piston performs over 2000 strokes / linear. out.
The edged end part of the insertion end of the drill protrudes into the space of the vibrator. The compression chambers of the displacement in front of and behind the piston are dimensioned in such a way that with each stroke movement the piston. exerts a strong impact on the end of the drill shaft facing it, whereby the drill is pressed against the rock in an oscillating manner. To dampen the blows, the piston is provided with an insert 12u made of rubber or some other spring material.
The method of operation with the described laser line is accordingly such that during the rotation of the drill by the rotor of the drill, the drill is pressed in a known manner against the drill bottom; this constantly exerted pressure can, however, be lower than with the previously practiced Bohrver and known Bohrinascliinen with dre rising tools. A pressure of around 30 to 10 kg is usually sufficient, while previously a drilling pressure of around 1200 to 1600 kg had to be exerted, so that corresponding wide bearings were required to absorb the counter pressure.
The drill now receives additional pressure against the bottom of the borehole from the vibrator piston, which exerts more than 2000 strokes per minute. The length of the piston of the vibrator need only be small; it is about 10 to 20 mm. As a result of the high number of strokes with a relatively short stroke, vibration of the drill is hardly noticeable because it does not hit any hard or sharp hits.
By using the dampening insert 12a, the visual effect of the vibrator on the drill can be weakened to such an extent that the effect of a steady static pressure is almost achieved.
The embodiment in FIG. 2 differs from that in FIG. 1 only in that the piston 12 of the vibrator has an impact bolt 11 with which it engages in the square bore of the shaft 3. This gives the piston better guidance during its oscillating movements, and the insertion end of the drill is correspondingly shorter.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the vibrator does not act directly on the end of the drill, as in the first two embodiments, but on the housing of the drill.
Here, see the piston 12 of the vibrator on a bolt 15, which is arranged in the vibrator housing, and the piston is at its striking end facing the housing with. provided with a naeligiebigen pad 16 with which it acts against the contact surface 17 of the vibrator housing, which rests with this wall on the drilling machine housing, so that the vibration shafts of the piston act on the housing of the drilling machine,
that transfers this to the drill.
Finally, FIG. 4 shows an embodiment in which a special safety damper is inserted between the drilling machine housing and the vibrator. Here leads. the piston 12 of the vibrator is located in the housing 11 by means of two pins 23 and 24 attached to its two effective surfaces. The Sehla damper 18 has two damping pistons 19 and 20, which are supported by intermediate layers 21, 22, e.g. B.
Hard rubber or buna pieces - it could also be springs - are connected to each other. A pin of the piston 19 lies opposite the pin '14 of the vibrator piston, so that the piston 19 is given the same direction as the vibrator. These blows are transmitted by the intermediate layers 21, \? 2, correspondingly attenuated, to the piston 20, which in turn forwards them to the insertion end 9 of the drill 10 in the manner already described by means of a pin.
To avoid sharper tips, the two layers are made of different lengths .. There. the shorter intermediate layers 22 pass the Sehlag faster than the longer intermediate layers 21, the individual blows of the vibrator piston are dampened in two successive stages and two successive impacts are exerted on the drill.
In the drill shown in Fig. 5 and 6 with rotating tool and vibrator, the drive device 1, which consists of a motor with a gear train, drives the drill rod via a pinion 26 built into a housing 25 arranged since Lich, which with, a hexagonal through hole 27 is provided. The drill steel 10, which is also hexagonal, grips through this hole, it can move freely in the pinion in the axial direction and receives the rotational movement through the pinion.
The vibrator 11 operated by compressed air is arranged at the rear end of the drill rod.
For better guidance, the drill rod and the parts connected to it lie within a J-iron 28. In front of the vibrator, a flushing head 29 is placed on the rear end of the drill rod in a manner known per se, which feeds a flow of water or air introduces the boring bar. This emerges at the front part of the drill 30 and causes the accelerated removal of the drill dust.
You can replace the vibrator with compressed air operated piston 12 by an electrically operated, with an alternately energized and de-energized magnet, similar to what happens with electrically operated hammers, especially in machines with an electric drive for rotating the drill.
