Repeating alarm mechanism for alarm clocks. The present invention relates to a repeating alarm mechanism for alarm clocks.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a side view of the first embodiment of the alarm mechanism, in the position when ringing, Fig. 2 is the view of the work of Fig. 1, in the direction of the arrow A, Fig. 3 is a side view of the same alarm mechanism, in the position between two ringing periods, Fig. 4 is a side view of a second embodiment of the alarm mechanism, in the position when ringing, Fig. 5 is a side view of this Alarmwerk kes in the position between two ringing periods ,
Fig. 6 is a view of a third Ausfüh approximate form of the alarm mechanism, Fig. 7 is a side view of the alarm mechanism of Fig. 6, in the position when the bell rings, Fig. 8 is a corresponding side view during the interruption interval. In the example according to Fig.l to 3 is on a drive axle 1, which works in a known manner under the action of a mainspring, a gear 2 is attached, which only has teeth on half of its circumference and next to a gear 3 firmly arranged.
On an axis 4 par allelic to the drive axis 1, a flail 5 is fixed and next to it a flail 6 is loosely rotatably mounted. The flail 5 engages with two cams 7 and 8 in the gear 2, while the Schlegel 6 engages two cams 9 and 10 in the teeth of the gear 3 means. When the drive axis .1 of the bell works, the teeth of the gears 2 and 3 act alternately on the cams 7 and 8 or 9 and 10 of the two, flails 5 and 6, so that they are set in vibration.
Here, the mallet 5 strikes the bell 11 of the watch case, while the mallet 6 is shaped so that it does not touch the bell 11 when it vibrates, but merely acts as a regulator for an evenly slow progression of the bell. The flail 5 is only vibrated as long as the tooth segment. acts on the cams 7 and 8 (see FIG. 1). As soon as the toothless part of the gear 2 has reached the area of the cams 7 and 8, the flail 5 comes to a standstill. During this time, the flail 6 ensures that the drive axle 1 of the mainspring mechanism is delayed.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5 differs from the former only in that the mallets 5 and 6 are arranged opposite one another instead of next to one another, wherein the regulating mallet 6 can be designed in the same way as the mallet 5 acting on the bell 11 The latter is actuated by the action of the tooth segment of the gear 2., and indeed the tooth segment and the toothless part of the gear cause the actuation of the ringing works at intervals.
The duration of each bell actuation and the duration of the intervals is seconds, which are to be regarded as particularly favorable conditions.
Instead of a second mallet that does not touch the bell, a restlessness can be provided as a retarding element for the process, which, with the interposition of a reduction gear, causes the drive axis that actuates the bell to run slowly.
In the third embodiment (Fug. 6 to 8) 1 denotes the elevator axis of the bell works, on which one end of a coil spring is fixed, the housing 12 is installed in the spring. The ring gear 13 of the spring housing is in engagement with a gear 14 on an auxiliary axis 15 and acts by means of a gear 16 alternately on the cams 7 and 8 of the armature 17, so that the armature moves back and forth about the axis of rotation 4 and the one on the Axis 4 attached flail 5 is made to vibrate.
With the spring housing 12 a bell 18 is a related party, the casing of which has two mutually opposite interruptions 19. During the course of the bell strikes the head 5 'of the beater 5 as a result of the Dre hung of the spring housing 12 against the walls of the bell 18 or in the areas of the interruptions 19 into the void, so that the alarm bell sounds or not.
