Wird einem finit Lötmittel gefüllten Lot von aussen 'ä.mie zugeführt, so kann es vorkommen, dal) das Lot selbst zuerst fliesst oder dass das l,ötniitt;el und das Lot gleichzeitig schmelzen und fliessen. Lotdrähte sind beispielsweise zur h:rzeugun- einer ringförmigen Lötstelle sehr nrigleei;
In der in Fig. 4 gezeigten Ausführungs form weist der Lotstreifen 10 Wellen 15 auf, die durch Grate 16 und Längsrillen 17 ge bildet sind. Das Lötmittel wird über beide Oberflächen des Körpers 10 derart ausgebrei tet, dass die Rillen 17 vollständig ausgefüllt ;
Body made of solder with solder. Known soldering forces contain a soldering medium in the form of a core of paste-like consistency. When soldering, the solder should melt and spread over the surfaces to be joined before the solder itself melts and begins to flow.
If a solder filled with finite solder is supplied from the outside, it can happen that the solder itself flows first or that the oil and solder melt and flow at the same time. Solder wires, for example, are very difficult to create when creating a ring-shaped solder joint;
net, since the solder can only flow out of the ends of the wire, so that the solder cannot spread over the entire surface of the solder joint before the molten solder flows.
The body according to the invention made of solder with soldering agent does not have these disadvantages; It is characterized in that the surface of the solder body has at least one recess into which a solder is introduced by means of a carrier that connects the particles of the solder to one another and to the solder body, but is resistant in the case of Zimmer- tenipcrattir Reaching the soldering temperature mainly evaporates.
The solder is preferably suspended or at least partially dissolved in the carrier.
In electrical resistance soldering, electrodes are used to send a current through the solder. For this application it is useful to at least partially expose the surface of the solder.
Various embodiments of the subject invention are explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 is a plan view of a portion of a solder strip, the upper and lower surface of which has round, trough-shaped recesses, Fig. 2 is a section through the line 2 -2 of FIG. 1, in which the layers of solder covering the two surfaces of the solder strip are visible, FIG. 3 shows a section similar to the section shown in FIG. 2,
In wel chem the solder he reaches such a level that the raised parts of the troughed solder strip are exposed, Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a fragment of a corrugated solder strip, Fig. 5 is a plan of a by rolling or other deformation operation on both sides a plurality of rod-shaped elevations provided solder sheet, FIG. 6 shows a section through the line 6-6 of FIG. 5,
7 and 8 show a side and a front view of a solder wire which has a helical groove filled with solder, FIGS. 9 and 10 show a side and front view of a solder wire which has two longitudinal grooves , which are arranged on diametrically opposite sides of the wire and filled with solder, Fig. 11 and 12 looks at a side and a front of a solder strip, which is filled with solder on both sides,
and FIG. 13 is a diagram illustrating a method of continuously coating wire with solder.
To produce the body according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a strip 10 of small thickness is passed between two rollers which are designed in such a way that they press depressions, pits, grooves or grooves 11 into both surfaces of the solder sheet. When Ent are a trough 11 in one surface forms an elevation 12 on the other surface of the sheet of necessity.
The troughs are preferably evenly distributed over the surface of the sheet at a certain distance, it being possible for the pits, troughs, grooves or grooves to be arranged transversely; however, the grooves or grooves can also be arranged crosswise. be. Furthermore, the surface can also have holes. A stand from the hollows, pits, grooves or grooves of 1.6 mm has proven to be favorable. The solder sheet 10 is then coated with solder 13 on both sides, for example by spraying on or by dipping.
The thickness of the soldering agent layer is expediently designed so that the troughs 11 are completely filled and the elevations 12 are covered.
A soldering body for electrical resistance soldering, in which the tips of the bumps are exposed on both sides of the solder sheet 10, for example by scraping off the solder, is shown in FIG. However, it is not necessary to completely expose all of the outstanding surface parts of the solder.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, the solder strip 10 has waves 15 which are ge by ridges 16 and longitudinal grooves 17 forms. The solder is spread over both surfaces of the body 10 in such a way that the grooves 17 are completely filled;
or the grooves are completely filled and the ridges 16 are covered by a thin layer. The body of solder with solder shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 has a solder body 10 in the form of a sheet into which a plurality of protruding parts 18 separated from one another by depressions 19 are rolled, while on the there are corresponding depressions on the surface.
Such a pattern of rods and depressions can be made by crisscross rolling the sheet with two sets of parallel grooves. The depressions 19 are filled with solder. The level of the solder can be such that the top ends of the rods are completely covered.
In the embodiment shown in Figs. 7 and 8 Darge round wire is rolled out into a strip, whereupon one end of the strip is held while the other end is rotated. This is how it arises. a twisted piece of wire 20 which has helically extending grooves 21. Depending on the nature of the solder, annealing operations may have to be switched on during the turning operation. The grooves of the solder body 20 formed in this way are then filled with solder 22.
The level of the solder can leave the outer surface of the solder wire free or it can be so high that a thin layer is formed that completely covers the curved outer surface of the solder wire.
Furthermore, you can twist two or more wires to. an element to he testify, which has a plurality of arranged between the individual wires, intended to receive the solder on grooves.
The Kör shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 by solder has the shape of a wire 20, which is seen with two longitudinal grooves 23 arranged on diametrically opposite sides. The grooves 23 are filled with solder "" which may or may not form a layer over the outer surface of the wire.
11 and 12 show a solder strip 24 which is provided on both sides with a series of transversely arranged grooves 25. The two sets of grooves are staggered. The grooves are filled with solder 26 ". The level of the solder is such that the planar surface portions of the solder are exposed. However, the level of the solder can still be increased so that a solder face covers both surfaces of the solder.
A wire-shaped body made of solder with solder, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 10, can be Herge for example as follows: A wire 50 is - as in Fir. 13 - is fed continuously in the direction of the arrow into a bath 51 of solder paste. The wire exits the bath through a nozzle 52 in which the excess solder is stripped from the surface of the wire.
The wire then passes through troughs 53 and 54 and an intermediate nozzle 55. Troughs 53 and 54 contain powdered solder to dry the outside of the paste on the wire. The excess solder is removed through nozzle 56. The solder coated wire. then runs through a bath 57, in wel chem the solder z. B. is coated with polybutyl rriethaerylatlack.
The wire continues through a heating tube 58 into which air is introduced through a line 59 and to which heat is supplied by means of a suitable heating device 60 in order to dry the paint.
As an example of a solder that has eroded the body, a soft silver solder is cited that contains 96% tin and 4 ö silver and melts at 224 C, zinc chloride, salicylic acid, phthalic acid, benzoic acid, citric acid or a Mixing these acids is suitable. The second example is a hard solder with 38% silver, 20 copper, 19% zinc and 23% cadmium, which melts at 650 C and an alkali metal fluoride, e.g. B.
Contains potassium or sodium fluoride mixed with boric acid or borax.
A thermoplastic, resin-like material made of polybutyl methacrylate, which can contain a plasticizer, is suitable as a carrier for binding the solder particles and for achieving a bond to the solder. Dibrryl phthalate is a suitable plasticizer. In order to obtain a thermoplastic material in which the solder particles are evenly distributed, a suitable solvent can be added to the carrier.
