Suspenders. The subject matter of the present invention is a braces with a back shield for connecting the support straps with the braid flaps. The type of back shields were previously made of strong textile material, namely from several pieces that are sewn together and protected against fraying by a border. This production is relatively cumbersome and therefore expensive. According to the invention, it is now carried out in such a way that the back shield consists of a single piece of material that overlaps the support tapes and braid flaps with constrictions and is turned back over itself.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is partially shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the back part of a suspender, FIG. 2 shows a side view.
The braces partially shown have the known carrier tapes 1 made of rubber-elastic material, which are glued and sewn together at the point 2 where they meet. The back shield 3 made of synthetic or natural leather or made of a plastic has two neck-shaped constrictions 4, 5, which are located at the points where the support straps 1 and the two parts of the braid flap 6 fork.
The end parts 7 and 8 are placed over the middle part 9 during the manufacture of the suspenders from the dashed position and the parts of the back shield lying one above the other are sewn and / or glued together.
The manufacture of the braces using the back shield described is very simple and has the advantage of being economical. With regard to the strength of the connec tion, the braces described are equal to all demands and a slip of individual parts from the back shield is excluded. As a result of the use of non-fraying material for the back shield, in particular the use of synthetic leather, there is no need to attach a special border.
The back shields can be made by punching out of the material used.
A further advance is achieved in that the braid flap 6 is made from a single band which, as can be seen from FIG. 1, is laid and sewn.
