Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Vinylsulfonfarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Vi- nylsulfonfarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, dass man die Diazoniumverbin- dung aus 1-Amino-2-methoxyphenyl-5-vinyl- sulfon mit 1-Oxybenzol-2-carbonsäure kuppelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 11,2 CTewiehtsteile 1-Amino-2-methoxyphe- nyl-5-vinylsulfon werden in 125 Volumteilen n-Salzsä,ure gelöst und in üblicher Weise di a7otiert. Die Diazolösung lässt man dann bei 0 bis 5 C in eine Mischung von 7 Gewichtstei len 1.-Oxybenzol-2-carbonsäure, gelöst in 25 Volumteilen 2n-Natronlauge und 8 Gewichts teilen Natriumbicarbonat, gelöst in 50 Volum- teilen Wasser, einfliessen.
Nach beendeter Kupplung wird die Parbstofflösung filtriert und im Filtrat der Vinylsulfonfarbstoff der Formel

durch Zugabe von Salzsäure abgeschieden. Der Farbstoff wird abgesaugt, gewaschen und getrocknet. Er schmilzt bei 215-216 C unter Zersetzung. Anschliessend wird der Farbstoff durch Vermahlen, mit 50 Volumteilen Methyl alkohol und 6 Gewichtsteilen Kaliumacetat in einer Kugelmühle in das Kaliumsalz über geführt.
Das so erhaltene Produkt stellt ein braun gelbes Pulver dar, das auf Wolle in ehromier- ter Färbung gelbe Töne von sehr guten Echt heitseigenschaften ergibt.
