Warming device with electrically heated grill and salamander. The present invention relates to a heating apparatus with an electrically heated grill and a salamander. In known heaters of this type, rod-shaped, electrical heating elements are attached in a tube, each concentrically zen.trisch, these tubes form the bars of the grill, on which the material to be treated can be placed, while the salamander required additional heating elements .

The heating apparatus according to the present invention differs from these known apparatus in that electrical heating elements are only covered at the top by organs which form components of the grill, while these heating elements are open at the bottom and for generating top heat through radiation, as Salaman who serve against at least one grate underneath.

Two embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, namely: Fig. 1 is a first embodiment of the heating apparatus in a diagrammatic representation, 3 a part of a second Ausfüh approximate form of the heating apparatus in a representation analogous to FIG. The heating apparatus illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a housing 10 which is open at the front and at the top.

Immediately below the upper housing opening is a grill 1.1 for placing food to be heated or roasted. This grill consists of cylindrical rods 12 and the length of cut pipe share 13, which each have a semicircular cross-section and are turned with their open side down. The rods 12 and the organs 13 are fastened at their ends to vertical plates 14 which run parallel to the longitudinal side walls of the housing 10. The rods 12 and the organs 13 are parallel to one another.

Below each organ 13 there is a rod-shaped heating element 15, the longitudinal axis of which coincides with that of the associated organ 13, in such a way that the organs 13 cover the heating elements concentrically towards the top. Each heating element consists of a tube 16 made of insulating material and an electrical resistance wire 17 wound around it in a helical manner. Instead of a smooth wire, a helix can also be wound around the rods 16. Towards the bottom, the heating elements 15 are exposed so that they can radiate their heat downwards without hindrance.

Underneath the heating elements 15 is a protective grating 18 which is mounted in the housing 10 so that it can be pulled out horizontally, although through profile rails 19 with a U-shaped cross section, which are arranged to the left and right of the front housing opening. Further down there is a grate 20, which is also mounted in the housing 10 so that it can be pulled out in the horizontal direction and can also be adjusted in height.

For this purpose, U-shaped profile rails 21 and U-shaped profile rails 22 in cross-section are attached one above the other to the left and right of the front opening of the housing, on whose inwardly protruding legs the grate 20 can optionally be placed. This grate 20 is used to place goods that are heated by radiation from above who should. Below the grate 20 there is a flat collecting trough 23, which serves to catch any falling grating and is also mounted on profiles 22 such that it can be pulled out horizontally. The tub 23 can also be adjusted in height, if this is desired.

A handle 2-1 makes it easier to pull out the tub 23. Such handles could also be provided on the grate 20 and the protective grate 18.

An electrical switch is denoted by 25 in FIG. 1, with the aid of which the heating elements 15 can be switched on and off. A connection cable 26 is provided for connecting the apparatus to a power distribution network.

The use and operation of the heaters described are self-evident. On the grill 11, for example, sausages can be warmed or roasted, or pans and plates, etc. are set up, while food is gratinated on the grate 20, pastries are toasted or Sweet patties, etc. can be warmed by means of top heat which is radiated downwards by the heating elements 15. The heating elements are not only used to heat the grill, but also serve as a salamander to generate top heat. Several grids 20 could also be arranged one above the other.

The embodiment of the heating apparatus shown in FIG. 3 differs from the one described only by a different design of the organs covering the heating elements 15 from above. These are formed here by a coherent corrugated sheet metal 27 which is fastened in the housing 10. Un below the wave crests of the plate 27, one of the rod-shaped heating elements 15 is arranged at each. Towards the bottom, the latter are also exposed in this embodiment of the apparatus, so that the heat can be radiated downwards unhindered. The grill 11 is formed by the corrugated sheet metal 27, on whose wave crests the cut to be grilled is placed. can.

The apparatuses described have the advantage that, because of the double utilization of the heating elements, the consumption of electrical energy, but also the space requirements and the production costs are lower than with previous apparatuses which serve the same purpose.
