  Verfahren     zur    Herstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Küpen-          farbstoffes,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man       4-Amino-2,1-        anthr        achinon-4'-        chlorbenzacridon     mit     Metachlorbenzoesäure    bzw. deren funktio  nellen Derivaten kondensiert.

      Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkelblaues  Kristallpulver dar, das sich in     konz.    Schwefel  säure mit     rotstichig    oranger Farbe löst und  Baumwolle aus roter     Küpe    in klaren, vollen,  sehr     rotstichig    blauen Tönen von hervorra  genden Echtheitseigenschaften färbt.         Beispiel:       Ein Gemisch aus 350 Teilen     o-Dichlorben-          zol,    18,7 Teilen     4-Amino-2,1-anthrachinon-4'-          chlorbenzacridon    und 17,5 Teilen m-Chl.or-         benzovlchlorid    wird 12 Stunden auf 160  er  hitzt.

   Nach dem Erkalten wird der gebildete  Farbstoff abgesaugt und zunächst mit     o-Di-          chlorbenzol    und dann mit Methanol     ausge-          wasehen    und getrocknet.

   After cooling, the dye formed is filtered off with suction and washed first with o-dichlorobenzene and then with methanol and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4-Amino-2,1- anthrachinon-4'-chlorbenzacridon mit Metachlorbenzoesäure bzw. deren funk tionellen Derivaten kondensiert.
