Description

In solchen.

Electric stick hotplate with pin connector. In radiant hotplates, it is necessary to use reflective parts below the radiator so that, on the one hand, the hotplate works with a good degree of efficiency and, on the other hand, undesired heating of the stove body and the regulating switch built below the hotplates is avoided.

The preservation of the reflectivity of the retroreflective parts depends. the power consumption and economy of electric cooking noticeably decrease. It must therefore be ensured that the reflector can be cleaned easily. This condition can best be met if the reflector can be completely removed so that it can be cleaned in the rinsing water or under the water jet. In the case of hotplates with a plug pin connection, however, this is difficult to achieve in terms of construction.

Although various proposals have already been made in this direction, they all have the disadvantage that in order to be able to clean the reflector, the hotplate has to be pulled out of the connector. Since the pins and sockets lose their original sliding ability under the action of heat. However, this is usually only possible with considerable effort. For this reason, many housewives are unable to remove the radiator at all.

In such. In most cases, the required cleaning is not done at all.

The invention enables the radiator to be removed and the reflector to be cleaned without the hotplate being pulled out from the pin connector. The invention consists in; that the radiator is carried by a support plate by means of elastic supports, which are at the same time 'carriers for a reflector plate inserted between the radiator and the support plate, and that the radiator is arranged on the support plate so that it can be swiveled away, expediently such that after it has been swiveled away the The reflector plate with the supports can be removed.

An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.

Fig. 1 is an elevation, partly in section, of a hotplate.

Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a partial end view.

In the drawing, 1 denotes the hotplate heating element consisting of a spiral-shaped, edgewise bent rod heating element. The heating element 1 is carried by the support plate 4, on which support elements or supports 6 made of poorly heat-conducting material or with small heat-conducting cross-sections, e.g. B. Sheet of the smallest possible cross-section and smallest contact area, are loosely attached. The supports are formed in such a way that they fit over embossments 4a on the stiffening profile of the support plate.

The three supports 6 simultaneously serve as supports for the reflector plate 7. They are snapped into rectangular recesses in the reflector plate and carry and center the plate 7 in this way. The heating rod forming the radiator is connected with the aid of its end 1a, which is drawn down through a recess 7a, through a transition angle 2 to the joint sleeve 3 surrounding the power supplies and in a two-part joint bearing 5 attached to the support plate 4 by a little more than 90 upwards arranged so as to be pivotable.

The cleaning of the reflector 7 designed in the hotplate described, think bar easy. It is only necessary to pivot the heating element 1 about the pivot bearing 5 upwards. In this position, the reflector plate 7 can easily be taken out with the clamped supports who the. The elastic supports 6 can also be removed from the reflector plate 7 without difficulty by compressing their lower ends and reinserted after its cleaning. The recesses of the reflector 7 receiving the supports 6 are expediently connected to one another by a circular collecting channel and are formed from overflowing material to drain off.

The end of the heating rod 1 is guided tangentially from the plane of the plate to the joint 3, 5 through an edge recess 7a in the reflector 7, so that it is sufficiently far away from the downward-facing flange 8 of the recess in the Ilerdabdeek plate 9. 10 are the pins of the high plate.
