Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Phosphor und Halogen enthaltenden organischen Verbindung. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu der neuen, Phosphor und Halogen enthaltenden Verbin dung der Formel <I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einer Lösung von 11 Teilen der Verbin dung der Formel

gelangt, wenn man 1 Mol der Verbindung der Formel

mit 1 Mol Chloral umsetzt. Die neue Verbin dung ist ein hochsiedendes Öl und kann als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel verwendet wer den.
Die erfindungsgemässe Kondensation er folgt durch Umsetzung der Komponenten in molekularem Verhältnis unter Abspaltung von 1 Mol Äthylchlorid. Die Reaktion verläuft exotherm, so dass die Komponenten zweck mässig unter Kühlung und mit inerten Lö sungsmitteln, wie Benzol, Toluol, Äther, Di- oxan, Hexan oder tiefsiedendem Benzin, ver dünnt vereinigt werden.
Zur Beendigung der Umsetzung wird die Reaktionsmischung vor teilhaft auf 80-120 erwärmt. in 20 Volumtei?en Benzol wird unter Eisküh lung und Rühren eine solche von 7,4 Teilen Chloral in 10 Vohunteilen Benzol zugetropft. Wenn alles eingetragen ist, wird das Rühr werk abgestellt und die Reaktionsmischung 30 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur und 90 Minuten bei 70-80 C stehengelassen. Hierauf wird das Benzol abdestilliert und der Rückstand bis zur Gewichtskonstanz im Vakutun auf dem Dampfbad erhitzt.
Man erhält 15,1 Teile eines gelbbraunen, dickflüssigen Öls.
