  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bakteriziden     Salieylanilides.            Glegenstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines bakteriziden       Salieylanilides.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man 1     1lol        5-Chlor-2-oxy-          benzol-l-carbonsäure    auf 1     Mol        2,3,4-Triehlor-          anilin    einwirken lässt.

      Die erhaltene neue Verbindung, das     5-          '1i1        oi,        -'-        oxy-        benzoyl    - 2', 3',4' -     trichlor    -     anilid,     schmilzt bei     248-249 .    Sie soll als     Desinfek-          t        ionsmittel    für nicht arzneiliche Zwecke Ver  wendung finden.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    18 Teile     5-Chlor-2-oxy-benzol-l-carbonsäure,     19,5 Teile     2,3,4-Trichlor-anilin,    0,4 Teile     Alu-          ininiumchlorid    und 6 Teile     Phosphortrichlorid     werden in 400     Volumteilen    Chlorbenzol suspen-         diert    und so lange zum Sieden erhitzt, bis  klare Lösung eingetreten ist. Es wird heiss fil  triert, mit Soda. neutralisiert und das Lö  sungsmittel mit Wasserdampf abgetrieben.

    Das aus     Äthylenglykolmonomethyläther    um  kristallisierte     5-Chlor-2-oxy-benzoyl-2',3',4'-tri-          chlor-anilid        schmilzt    bei 248-249 .

Die erhaltene neue Verbindung, das 5- Chlor - 2 - oxy-benzoyl - 2',3',4' - trichlor- anilid, schmilzt bei 248-249 .
