Two-stroke engine with V.-shaped arranged ZyUnderreihen.- In two-stroke engines with V-shaped arranged rows of cylinders, it is known to provide a scavenging air sensor in the space between the cylinder rows and to arrange the scavenging air fan on the sem scavenging air sensor.
Such arrangements are advantageous because of the good flow of scavenging air, but the disadvantage arises that the blower, especially when it is designed as a Roots blower, the arrangement of the various auxiliary devices of the motor between the. Rows of cylinders obstructed, so that these auxiliary devices must be brought under the side of the engine, which again increases the overall width.
The accommodation of an injection pin, which, in order to create a simple drive option, must be mounted axially parallel to the crankshaft of the engine, now causes difficulties in such an engine. It is convenient to arrange this injection pump between the Zy cylinder rows, but the space is very limited there because of the fan.
Arranging the injection pump on the fan housing does not yet result in a usable solution, since the injection pump is relatively high and therefore increases the construction height of the engine too much. The blower housing has the greatest height in the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the motor, so that in this plane the injection pump cannot be arranged on the blower housing because of the excessive overall height.
If, however, the injection pump is arranged approximately vertically on the side of the blower housing, the overall height is still considerable, and the main disadvantage is that the injection lines to the two rows of cylinders are unequal in length.
This results in the disadvantage of an uneven speed of the engine, unless you want to accept the disadvantage of a multiple curvature of the injection lines, which increases the length of the same. But if the injection pump is arranged on the side of the engine housing, a separate injection pump must be provided for each cylinder row.
Arranging the injection pump at one end of the engine results in a complicated drive, a different length of the injection lines and an unfavorable drive option. It is thus the arrangement of the injection pump in the space between the rows of cylinders. of particular importance, but so far it has not been possible to
to find a favorable arrangement of the injection pump in the space between the cylinder rows, if: a blower is arranged there which takes up this space or at least most of it.
The invention relates to a two-stroke engine with rows of cylinders arranged in a V-shape, in which a scavenging air receiver is provided in the space between the rows of cylinders and the scavenging air blower formed by a Roots blower is arranged on the scavenging air sensor and consists of
that an injection pump, which is provided with connecting pieces for the pressure lines in its longitudinal feed plane, is attached at an angle to the side of the housing of the Roots blower,
that said connection pieces are above this housing and are inclined to the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the motor.
The inventive training can eliminate the difficulties outlined above, and it can see the derreihen leading to both Zylin injection lines about the same length with a suitable training, whereby a more even gear of the engine is achieved.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is illustrated game of the invention.
Fig.1 shows a front view with Teilwei sem cross section of a two-stroke diesel engine, while Fig. 2 is a side view.
Between the V-shaped cylinder rows I and 2, the scavenging air pick-up space 3 is arranged in a known manner, which is closed off at the top by a Roots blower 4. The housing .des Roots blower has a console 5 on the left,
on which die'Lichtmasehine 18 is set. On the right, the housing of the fan 4 is designed with a console 6 which is also incorporated into the casting of the fan housing and on which the injection pump 7 is mounted in an inclined position. This console 6 also serves to support the fan 4 on the motor housing.
The connection supports 8 for the pressure lines of the injection pump, which are arranged in the longitudinal center plane of the injection plunger, lie above the fan housing and are inclined towards the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the engine and thus moved so far towards the center of the engine that the injection lines 9 and 10 have approximately the same length.
This inclined position of the injection pump not only reduces the overall height of the engine, but above all it becomes. the accessibility of the injection pump or the usually closed by a cover, the piston and springs -umschlie ssenden space is improved, since this inclined position corresponds approximately to the most favorable working position of the pump on the workbench. So it will be a repair, e.g.
B. replacing the piston or adjusting the pump is just as easy as on the workbench, without having to dismantle the pump. This advantage of easy accessibility also comes into play with the backing pump 11 and hand pump 12 fixed on the injection pump 7.
As the drawing shows, both the alternator and the injection pump are not in direct contact with the cylinder or cylinder heads 13, so that the cylinder heads can be removed without dismantling the auxiliary equipment and, moreover, a direct heat transfer from the cylinder or cylinder.
the cylinder heads on the auxiliary devices 7 and 18 is avoided. The arrangement of the auxiliary devices on the side of the housing of the fan 4 enables the air filter 14 to be arranged above the fan housing without further ado.
While the space between the rows of cylinders is used to accommodate the alternator and the injection pump, the engine sides are built by the oil filter and oil cooler 15, the starter 16 and the exhaust pipes 17.
