Description

Shelf stand The invention relates to a shelf stand with at least one rail provided with two longitudinal, parallel rows of slot openings and at least one console hooked into this by means of two hooks for releasing the shelf boards.

In such shelf stands, the fixed on the console or in one piece with this, inserted in two laterally vonein other slots attached to the rail hooks have a vertical force dependent on the weight of the shelves and a substantially horizontal force from which on the consoles acting torque-dependent force, which is very often many times greater than the vertical force.

In already known arrangements of this type, it has been proposed to use downward hooks that have both the vertical and horizontal forces aufzuneh men in one and the same place, whereby the load on the Ha ken is very unfavorable and a very strong term Dimensioning required when it comes to large shelf loads.

According to the invention, this disadvantage is eliminated in that the hooks are directed upwards and that the shaft height of the hooks from the bottom to the bottom of the hook is practically the same as the length of the seat openings in the rail. In the drawing, several example embodiments of the shelf stand according to the Invention are shown.

In FIGS. 1 to 4 the console is intended to be made of sheet metal, FIG. 1 showing the console, which is hooked into a metal rail and carrying shelves, from the side, partially in section, while FIGS. 2 and 3 show this console from above and from the back ge see and Fig.4 illustrate development in a perspective representation.

Fig. 5 shows a slightly modified imple mentation of the rear end of the console. 6 to 8 show a wooden console from the side or in perspective and in an end view.

9 and 10 illustrate the rail from the front or in a section along the line X-X in FIG.

11 to 14 show the hook fitting in perspective or in plan, in side view and in end view.

FIG. 15 shows a starting piece which is shaped to produce the fitting.

FIG. 16 finally shows a somewhat changed embodiment of the console according to FIG. 7.

In Fig. 1 to 4, 1 denotes the Kon sole made from a U-shaped sheet metal, while 2 denotes a U-shaped rail attached to a wall or a stand, the central web of which is provided with a number of slotted openings 3 arranged one above the other which are practically exactly rectangular

The legs of the console 1 are provided at their upper rear end with punched-out hooks 4 that are directed upwards. B. is concave, with only a short, in its length approximately the thickness of the rail material corresponding, horizontal edge 5 remains. From the stand between this edge 5 and the Bo the 6 of the hook 4 is adjusted so that it is as large as the length of the slot openings 3 as possible.

This gives the hook 4 a very reliable support in the slot opening 3, there. the side edge 7 of the hook rests against an unbroken part 8 of the rail center web above the slot opening and only has to absorb the horizontal force resulting from the load on the bracket, while the vertical force resulting from the load from the union located on the underside of the hook shaft, horizontal edge 5 is added, which is applied to the lower, straight limiter edge 9 of the slot opening 3.

The distance between the slot openings 3 from one another in the longitudinal direction of the rail is expediently adjusted so that the lower, towards tere end 10 of the console 1 on a non-perforated part 11 of the rail \? is on, whereby it is better able to resist the horizontal compressive force exerted by the console at this point, which, as shown, can easily exert a deforming effect on the rail 2.

In order to distribute this pressure even better, the console according to FIG. 5 can be seen at its lower, rear end with support tabs 12, which are designed so that the distance from the hook bottom to the lower, learning edge of the console is enlarged and a Part of the pressure in question is transferred to the legs 13 of the rail 2, which, as should be readily apparent, have a much greater load-bearing capacity than that.

By using two hooks located on the side and at a distance from one another, the console is adequately fastened in the rail, also against rotation, which is why the console does not have to be supported or provided with special sides interacting with the rail.

To fasten the shelf 15, the console can be provided with holes 16 for the introduction of fastening screws 17.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 15, in which the console is made of wood, the hooks 4 are formed on a fitting 19 which is fastened to the upper, rear end of the console 1 by means of screws or the like and which is shown in FIGS. 6 to 8 and 11 to 16 illustrated NV can be designed and attached.

In this case, too, the hooks 4 are turned upwards, while the hook shafts are provided with straight, horizontal contact edges 5 on the underside. In order to achieve a firm connection between the fitting 19 and the console 1, the fitting is expediently provided with downwardly directed Be tenflügeln 20, which are inserted into corresponding slots attached to the top of the console.

Furthermore, the front end of the fitting 19 is provided with a downwardly projecting shoulder flange 27, so that the tensile force acting rearward on the fitting in the longitudinal direction is reliably counteracted.

To fasten the shelf, not shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, to the consoles, these can be provided with bores 23 and 24, of which the bore 24 is widened in order to take into account the shrinkage of the shelf wood that occurs over time .

The fastening of the fitting 19 requires great accuracy in order to ensure that the side edges 7 of the hooks come at exactly the right distance from the rear edge 27 of the console, since otherwise the console 1 will not be in its correct position when it is fastened in the rail 2 receives. It is of course just as important that the position of the fitting is not changed when it is loaded.

Such precision and strength could be achieved in that the fitting 19, as shown most clearly in FIG can be formed with incisions 26 <-tus ". The Beschlao, n is placed in liquid plastic glue,

which, according to Hart, adheres to the wood and fills the aforementioned stranded wire 25 or roughening, whereby the fitting is held in a precise position in the wood console. The cut-out in the wood for the fitting can be made spacious in this way, and the fitting is fixed in the console in an exact position by means of a suitable fixing arrangement.

Although it is not necessary for reasons of strength, one likes to use screws to fasten the fitting, since this allows the console to be removed from the fixing arrangement before the plastic glue has hardened.

The position of the console is also influenced by changes in shape in the rail, which can be caused, for example, by unevenness in the wall. In view of this, the console can be made adjustable by means of an adjustable stop member on the un tern, rear edge of the console. This stop member can consist of a screw 22 which is driven all the way into a hole drilled in the console wood. The setting is obtained by means of a nut 28 provided with a corrugated edge, so that the screw 22 can be adjusted without the console having to be removed from the rail.
