Cycle à pédales L'invention a pour objet un cycle à pédales, notamment un vélomoteur dont le moteur est supporté par la fourche avant.
Le cycle à pédales selon l'invention - en même temps qu'il comporte un pédalier dont les deux manivelles sont calées, à 1800 l'une de l'autre, sur l'arbre du plateau denté - est caractérisé par au moins un repose-pied hori zontal, disposé entre les manivelles, à un ni veau supérieur à la partie la plus haute du plateau denté, et s'étendant vers l'avant jus qu'au voisinage de la roue avant.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'invention.

Le vélomoteur représenté, dont le moteur est supporté par la fourche avant, comprend un cadre constitué par un tube 1 comprenant une partie avant oblique qui est solidaire, à son extrémité supérieure, de la douille de di rection 6 et qui se rattache, à son extrémité inférieure, à une partie horizontale s'étendant vers l'arrière. A l'extrémité arrière de cette partie sont fixés, par des boulons 10 et 11, deux bras 8 constituant la fourche horizontale, et, par lesdits boulons 10, deux joues 9 sup portant la selle, les extrémités respectivement arrière et supérieures des susdits bras et joues étant reliées entre elles par des montants 12 constituant la fourche oblique arrière.
Sous la partie horizontale du tube 1 est fixé un manchon 7 supportant l'arbre 3 d'un plateau denté 4, sur lequel sont calées, à 1800 l'une de l'autre, deux manivelles portant cha cune, à son extrémité, une pédale 5.
Entre chacune des manivelles 2 et le tube 1, à un niveau supérieur à la partie la plus haute du plateau denté 4, est disposé un re pose-pied horizontal 13 s'étendant vers l'avant jusqu'au voisinage de la roue avant 14.
Chaque repose-pied 13 est constitué par une plaque métallique présentant des rebords repliés vers le bas, ce qui donne à cette plaque une section en U. En avant des cercles balayés par les manivelles, les repose-pied ont une largeur plus grande que dans leurs parties cor respondant à ces cercles.
Le repose-pied situé du côté de la chaire s'étend vers l'arrière, de manière à former un protège-chaîne empê chant le contact des vêtements ou des chaus sures de l'usager avec la chaîne. Les repose-pied sont fixés à l'avant et à l'arrière par des axes transversaux 15 et 16, l'axe avant 15 traversant le tube 1, tandis que l'axe arrière 16 traverse les joues 9.

The moped shown, the engine of which is supported by the front fork, comprises a frame consisting of a tube 1 comprising an oblique front part which is integral, at its upper end, to the steering sleeve 6 and which is attached to its lower end, to a horizontal part extending rearward. At the rear end of this part are fixed, by bolts 10 and 11, two arms 8 constituting the horizontal fork, and, by said bolts 10, two cheeks 9 sup carrying the saddle, the respectively rear and upper ends of the aforesaid arms and cheeks being interconnected by uprights 12 constituting the rear oblique fork.
Under the horizontal part of the tube 1 is fixed a sleeve 7 supporting the shaft 3 of a toothed plate 4, on which are wedged, at 1800 from each other, two cranks each carrying, at its end, a pedal 5.
Between each of the cranks 2 and the tube 1, at a level higher than the uppermost part of the toothed plate 4, is arranged a horizontal footrest 13 extending forward to the vicinity of the front wheel 14 .
Each footrest 13 is constituted by a metal plate having edges folded downwards, which gives this plate a U-shaped section. In front of the circles swept by the cranks, the footrests have a greater width than in their parts corresponding to these circles.
The footrest located on the side of the chair extends towards the rear, so as to form a chain guard preventing the user's clothes or shoes from coming into contact with the chain. The footrests are fixed at the front and at the rear by transverse axes 15 and 16, the front axis 15 passing through the tube 1, while the rear axis 16 passes through the cheeks 9.
