Description

Die angegebenen Teile be deuten Gewichtsteile.

Additional patent to main patent no. 311212 Process for the production of a water-soluble and associated azophthalocyanine dye. The present invention relates to a process for the production of a water-soluble and associated azophthaloeyanine dye, which is characterized in that 1 mol of iron phthalocyanine-3,3 ', 3 " ,

3l "-tetrasulfonyloride with 2 mol of 4-amino-4'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzene-2,5'-dicarboxylic acid and 1 mol of 1,2,3-trioxybenzene-4-carboxylic acid in the presence of a mineral acid brings binding substance to implementation.

In addition, the statements mentioned in the main patent apply with regard to the preferred implementation of the process according to the invention.

The following example illustrates the new procedure. The parts indicated are parts by weight.

Example S) 6.2 parts (1 / 1.o mol) Eisenphthalocya.nin- 3,3 ', 3 ", 3"' - tetrasu, lfochlorid, obtained by the action of chlorosulfonic acid on iron Plltlialocyanin, are stirred in 300 parts of ice to a homogeneous paste and a solution containing 23.6 parts (1/10 mol) of the trisodium salt of 1,2,3-trioxybenzene-4-carboxylic acid and 75,

4 parts (2/10 mol) of the potassium salt of 4-amino-4'-oxy-1., 1'-azobenzene-2,5 '-: diacid in 600 parts of water to which 15 parts of calcium carbonate were added A nitrogen atmosphere was added rapidly, the mixture was stirred for 10 hours at 5 to 10 ° C. and for a further 20 hours at room temperature.

The reaction mixture is made Congo acidic with dilute hydrochloric acid, the precipitated paraffin acid is separated off, dissolved in water and potassium carbonate, and the dye is salted out with potassium chloride.

The dye obtained in this way is a gray olive powder that dissolves in water with olive and in conc. Sulfuric acid dissolves with a brown color. In chrome printing on cotton, the dye produces a yellow olive.
