  <B>verfahren zur Herstellung von</B>     Di-(p,m'-amidino)-diazoaminobenzol-dihydrochlorid       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten  tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von       Di-(p,m'-aniidino)-diazoaminobenzol-dihydro-          ehlorid,    das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,     da.ss     man     p-Amidino-phenyl-diazoniumehlorid    mit  m -     Amino    -     benzamidin    -     dihydrochlorid    in       se        liwaeh    saurer Lösung umsetzt.

      Das     Verfahrensprodukt    stellt ein gelblich  graues Pulver dar, das sieh bei 262  zersetzt  und mit Wasser beim Erwärmen leicht in  Lösung geht. Es zeichnet sich durch hervor  ragende Wirksamkeit gegen Blutparasiten,  z. B.     Trypanosomen,        Babesien    u. a., aus.

         Eine    aus 12 g     p-Aniino-benzamidin-hydrochlo-          rid    in 60     em3    Wasser und 17     cm3        konz.        Salz-          säure    mit 4,7g     Natriumnitrit    hergestellte     Di-          azolösung    wird mit einer Lösung von 15,

  5 g       in-Amino-benzamidin-dihydrochlorid    in 40     em3          Wasser    vermischt und die Mischung mit  81     em3        gesättigter        Natriumacetatlösung    ver  setzt. Der entstehende Niederschlag wird nach       längerem    Stehen in Eis abgesaugt und mit  verdünnter     Chlornatriumlösung    und eiskal  tem Wasser gewaschen. Danach wird er in  warmem Methanol     unter    Zusatz von etwas  Wasser gelöst und die Lösung mit Aceton  versetzt.

   Das     auskristallisierte        Dihydrochlo-          rid    obiger Verbindung bildet ein blass gelblich  graues Pulver, das sich bei 262  zersetzt und  mit Wasser beim     Erwärmen    mit gelber Farbe    leicht in Lösung geht; die orange gefärbte  Base schmilzt bei 165-166  unter Zersetzung.

         A mixture made from 12 g of p-aninobenzamidine hydrochloride in 60 em3 water and 17 cm3 conc. Hydrochloric acid with 4.7g sodium nitrite prepared diazole solution is mixed with a solution of 15,

  5 g of in-amino-benzamidine dihydrochloride are mixed in 40 cubic meters of water and the mixture is mixed with 81 cubic meters of saturated sodium acetate solution. The resulting precipitate is filtered off with suction after long standing in ice and washed with dilute sodium chloride solution and ice-cold water. It is then dissolved in warm methanol with the addition of a little water and acetone is added to the solution.

   The dihydrochloride of the above compound which has crystallized out forms a pale yellowish gray powder which decomposes at 262 and which easily dissolves with water when heated with a yellow color; the orange colored base melts at 165-166 with decomposition.

PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung von Di-(p,m'- amidino) - diazoaminobenzol - dihydrochlorid, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man p-Amidino- phen->1-diazoniumchlorid mit m-Amino-benz- amidin-dihydrochloi-id in schwach saurer Lö sung umsetzt. Das Verfahrensprodukt stellt ein gelblich graues Pulver dar, das sich bei 262 zersetzt und mit Wasser beim Erwärmen leicht in Lösung geht.
