A fixed bearing for a timepiece The present invention relates to a fixed bearing for a timepiece, in which one of the two elements - bearing and counter-pivot - is mounted immovably on the bearing support, while the other is detachably fixed thereto by means of a flange.
This bearing is characterized by the fact that said flange is formed of a split ring partially housed, with radial play, in an outer groove presented by the element which it holds in place, this flange having three outer projections penetrating into a housing of the bearing support, one of these projections being diametrically opposed to the slot in the ring and the other two being located in the vicinity of this slot so that the assembly is carried out by first inserting the first projection lie in housing, then by closing the ring to allow the other two projections to enter the housing in which they hook elastically, the ring also has means for gripping it on either side of its slot by means of a tool,
to close it and thus release the two projections located in the vicinity of the slot.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an axial section of the bearing constituting this embodiment. Fig. 2 is a plan view of a detail. The bearing shown comprises a support 1 driven into a bridge 2 of the frame of the movement. The pad, formed of a pierced stone 3, is driven into this support 1, while the counter-pivot, formed of a stone 4 surrounded by a kitten 5, is housed in an interior recess 6 of the support 1. The counter-pivot is held in place in the recess 6 by a flange consisting of a ring 7, open at 8, and housed, with radial play, in an external groove 9 of the chaton 5.
This ring has three external projections, one 7a, diametrically opposed to the slot 8, and the other two 7b, located on either side of this slot. The support 1 has, on its exterior face, an annular chamfer 10; an annular groove 11 is made in the upper part of the censor 6. Finally, clearances 14 are made in the ring 7, in the vicinity of its two ends, to allow the introduction of tweezers which are hooked to projections 7c formed in the ring by these clearances, which makes it possible to close the ring with a view to its assembly and disassembly.
The counter-pivot is mounted as follows: The projection 7a is first of all introduced directly into the groove 11, the counter-pivot being held obliquely with respect to the plane of the bearing. Axial pressure is then exerted on the counter-pivot, at the same time as the projections 7b are brought together by means of tweezers, which is made possible by the radial play between the ring 7 and the bottom of the groove 9 of the kitten 5. The retraction of the projections 7b is facilitated by the chamfer 10.
These projections then penetrate into the groove 11, in which they are held elastically. The upper wall of this groove is tapered at 13, so that the radial pressure exerted by the ring on the support 1 is partially transformed into an axial action of the support on the ring and on the kitten 5.
The lower face of the protrusions 7b could have an inclined plane intended to slide on the chamfer 10 so that, during assembly, the ring closes by itself, without the aid of tweezers, under the effect of the axial pressure exerted on it.
