Damp-proof cables There are cables known in which each conductor is surrounded by an insulating jacket, these jackets being connected to one another by a web made of the same insulation material that rests flat on the respective underlay and because of the relatively large distance between the insulated conductors results in a high insulation value between them. This bar also serves as a fastening tape, (which can be fastened to the respective base by means of nails.
The disadvantage of these known cables is that they have too little insulation between this and the electrical conductor due to their level support on the surface to ensure a sufficiently high insulation value between the conductor and the wall in damp rooms.
The invention is based on the idea ("round, the distance between the conductors embedded in their insulation jacket and the end of wet room cables when laying the surface of the plaster - to increase the insulation value of these cables by about double compared to the known cables becomes.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the insulation sheath consisting of a thermoplastic plastic compound has a part having a web with an attached fastening flange, which part is intended for fastening the cable to any shaped base.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated sehaubildhch by several exemplary embodiments of the cable. 1 shows a representation of the moisture-proof cable according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows the cable with an F-shaped fastening flange in cross section, and FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the cable with a tangentially located web.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the insulation jacket 3 which surrounds the two conductors 1, 2 and which does not exceed the normal thickness has a flange-like extension, the radially arranged web 4 of which is at least as high as the diameter of the insulation jacket 3 The flange 5 on the web 4 and the web 4 form a right angle. The damp room cable can be firmly connected to the base 7 by means of nails 6 or other fastening means.
In the embodiment of Fig. 2 of the radial web 9 and the loading mounting flange 8 existing part of the cable is provided T-shaped cross section. In this embodiment, the two flange parts can be used for nailing (nails 15) the cable on a base.
Finally, FIG. 3 shows a special embodiment of the moisture-proof cable of the present invention, which is suitable for power lines, but also for telephony purposes. The web 12 connecting the Isolationsman tel 10 to the flange 11 is arranged tangentially to the jacket 10. When installing this cable, the insulation jacket 10 can be swiveled to the side so that the flange 11 intended for driving nails 13 or the like is exposed.
After the cable has been attached to the base, the jacket surrounding the Lei ter 1.4 takes. 10 of the cable as a result of the elasticity of the web 12 its original position again, so that the flange occupied with the nail heads is almost entirely covered and is hardly visible.
