Fig. 4 baulicheAusführung der Einrich- tung.

Device for monitoring the processing with the help of an optical device I) The present invention relates to a device for monitoring the processing of a work piece by e-in tool with the help of an optical viewing device, through whose eyepiece r the work place and the target shape line of a template.
A device of this type is already known in which the work station is assigned an operating theater system and the varlage is assigned a second optical system, the two observation images being viewed through a common eyepiece. However, the use of two optical systems is disadvantageous because the device is structurally more complex and more expensive, and also with regard to adjustability. the furniture becomes cumbersome.
There are also known grinding machines in which the work site is projected onto a ground glass, which contains the desired shape. Apart from the fact that this is a projection and not an optical observation, this known design had the disadvantage that its projection device requires a special machine of large dimensions from the outset.
The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known device and to provide a viewing device which is advantageously used as an additional device for processing machines, in particular milling machines.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the desired shape line is attached to a template made of transparent material and lies between the work site and the contact point, so that both the desired form line and the work site are viewed using a single optical system.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail in the following description of the drawing. Show it :
Fig. L the optical scheme of the installation,
FIGS. 2 and 3 show details from FIGS. 1 and
Fig. 4 Construction of the device.
The work piece is designated by 10 in FIG. 1. It should by means of a tool, e.g. P. a grinding wheel 12, can be processed according to a template 14. For this purpose, the template 14 is made of a transparent material, for example glass, and bears a wafer-thin target shape line 16. The template 14 can thus be arranged above the work site and both points, namely both the target shape line 16 of the template 14 and that Work piece 10 can be viewed by a single optical system, advantageously a microscope 18.
In order to get the two different high points on the image surface in focus, two semitransparent mirrors 20, 22 and a deflecting prism 24 are arranged in the beam path of microscope 18, so that a partial beam path passes through mirrors 20, 22 directly to the eyepiece ., while another partial beam path is first passed over the deflecting prism 24 before it can also reach the eyepiece. The observer therefore sees the desired shape line 16 and the outline 26 of the work piece 10 - as shown in FIG. 3 - sharply drawn and superimposed.
He can thus easily control the machining process.
The superimposition of the work station with the transparent template, which is rotated in the manner described, brings the advantage mentioned at the beginning of a simplification of the optical observation system. In addition, the work piece and the template can be arranged adjustably on a common holder, during which adjustment both parts are moved together.
A similar arrangement of microscope and grinding wheel on a common carrier is advantageous, whereby the grinding wheel must of course still be given the possibility of executing the movement required for grinding, in the present case perpendicular, to and fro. Due to the common adjustment of the individual parts of the device, the control process is designed in a particularly favorable way.
In Fig. 4, the structural arrangement of the device is illustrated. At the same time, it is shown here how the device can be used in a simple manner as an additional device for machine tools, for example milling machines of the usual type, so that such a machine can easily replace an expensive special grinding machine, for example a copier grinding machine.
This circumstance is of particular importance for small and medium-sized businesses, because the economic exploitation of the machine becomes more and more important.
On the partially illustrated stand 30 of a milling machine, a milling head 32 that can be adjusted horizontally is arranged in a known manner with, for example, a vertical push device 4. This push-pull device has a slide 36 that moves vertically back and forth, to which a push-rod is normally attached.
In the present case, however, he is tracing the grinding wheel 12, which is driven via a belt 38 by a power source not shown. During the vertical movements of the carriage 36, the grinding wheel 12 is therefore moved back and forth on the work piece 10 in the vertical direction.
The mounting of the grinding wheel 12 on the slide 36 can be adjusted in the horizontal direction and can also be inclined. For this purpose, an angle piece 40 is fastened to the side rail 36, in that a hollow bearing pin 42 is seated approximately above the work site. A pivot piece 44 is pivotable about the bearing journal 42 and can be locked by means of a clamping device 46. On the pivot piece 44, a slide-like bearing body 48 is adjustable by means of an adjusting screw 50 and can be clamped by a toggle 52.
The adjustment of the pivoting piece 44 is used to make a visual sawing and the adjustment of the bearing body 48 is used for the horizontal fine adjustment of the grinding wheel 12 in relation to the workpiece 10.
A carrier 54 is also attached to the stationary part of the pusher device 34 and encompasses the movable slide 36 like a bridge so as not to disturb its movement.
On the carrier he. A vertically adjustable holder 58 for the microscope 18 is seated by means of an adjusting screw 56.
A holder 60 is placed on the work table (not shown) of the milling machine, on which the work piece 10 is fastened by means of some clamping prongs 62. This holder has a perpendicular arm 64. on which an angle piece 66 is arranged vertically adjustable by means of an adjusting screw 68. The angle piece 66 carries a bevel mount 72 for the template 14 that can be inserted and locked with the aid of a viewing hood 70.
When the work piece 10 is processed by the grinding wheel 12, due to the described advantageous structure of the device, it is possible to control the relative feed between these points either by adjusting the carrier 60 placed on the machine table. Work piece 10 and template 14 or by adjusting the milling head 32 with grinding wheel 12 and microscope 18. Or both adjustments can be combined, but always in such a way that the target form line of the original remains in the field of view of the optical device.
Since the adjustment range of the machine table or the milling head exceeds the size of the shape to be machined several times over, the second job can be carried out without any relative change in the template in relation to the workpiece, so that perfect machining is guaranteed.
