Fig. 6 zeigt die Kennlinie dieses Verstärkers.

CE erregten Steuerwiek'lung <I>DE</I> den Mag netverstärker JID in seinen Sperr- bereieh treiben.

Gemäss Fig. 10 treiben die Amperewindungen <I>L</I> der Wieklung <I>CL</I> den Verstärker JIC in seinen Sperrbereich, wäh rend gemäss Fig. 11. die Amperewindungen I, der Wicklung <I>DL</I> den Verstärker JID in sei nen Durehlassbereieh treiben, wenn die Wiek- lung <I>CL</I> den Verstärker JIG in seinen Sperr bereich treibt.

Cleielrzeitig nehmen im Ver stärker<I>311,

   Die Erzeu  gung eines starken, auf den     Steuermotor    ein  wirkenden Bremsmomentes,     das-    den Motor ins  besondere in den     Endstellungen    der Elektro  den und bei sehr kleinem     Elektrodenabstand          ;

In summary, when an excitation voltage is applied either to the control windings for forward running or to the control windings for reverse running of the magnetic amplifiers JIA and 11IB, these Maonet amplifiers are driven into their pass range, while at the same time due to the selective response of the magnetic amplifiers :

rker # JIC and IID on the same Stener- spa.nur only one of the last two amplifiers mentioned is conductive. All these magnetic amplifiers are arranged in such a way that the amplifiers working in each case respond equally and simultaneously to a given control voltage, so that the AC motor 3I is evenly excited in all three phases.

The reversal of the motor is only achieved with the aforementioned JIF and JIR magnetic amplifiers for forward and reverse rotation. These magnetic amplifiers are similar to those used in the motor supply circuit and are self-saturating amplifiers connected in parallel.

The magnetic amplifier 111F has two main field waves P1 and F2, each of which is sehaatet in series with an equilibrium F3 or F4.

These rectifiers are polarized opposite to one another in the main winding circuits connected in parallel, so that they conduct the current in opposite directions during the successive half-periods of the alternating current.

This amplifier is connected to an alternating current duel, which feeds the We.chs eIstrom via the transformer T2 from the leads L2 and. L3 derives from the motor.

The secondary winding 2S of this transformer supplies the alternating current for the circuit of the magnetic amplifier for forward and reverse running. A full ive = load rectifier FR is in series with the main winding circuit of the magnetic amplifier 111F

switched, which supplies an equi-rectified output voltage. The magnetic amplifier JIF has a control winding FC, a damping winding FD and a bias winding FB. The characteristic of this magnetic amplifier is shown in Fig. 7,

in which the Amperewin.dungen. B the bias voltage FB drive the magnetic amplifier into the blocking range.

The magnetic amplifier DIR is similar to the magnetic amplifier JIF and comprises two main windings R1 and R2, which are connected to. one of two oppositely polarized equilibrators R3 and R-1 are connected in series.

This main weighting circle is in series with a load balance <I> RR </I> to those in connection with. your Maaxret amplifier DIh 'described AC power source is closed. The magnetic amplifier IIR for reverse, further comprises a control winding R (, a damping winding RD and a bias voltage RB.

Fig. 6 shows the characteristic of this amplifier. Again, the ampere turns of the bias voltage shown by the solid arrow B drive this amplifier into the blocking range.

The control winding circuits of the magnet amplifiers ilIF and <I> DIR </I> serve on the one hand to control the direction of rotation of the motor and on the other hand to set and regulate the speed of the motor.

Both functions are dependent on the comparison of two voltages in the control circuit of the magnetic amplifier for forward and reverse movement. One of these voltages is a reference voltage of reversible polarity derived from a variable resistor RH.

The other voltage is a speed display and is excited by a control DC generator PG (Tachometerdyna.mo), the rotor of which is mechanically connected to the MTeehselstrom.- motor 11 and is driven by the latter. Such a generator is known to generate a voltage that is a linear function of its speed.

As a result of the mechanical connection of this generator with the induction motor, the terminal voltage of this control generator PG is proportional to the speed of the motor. The variable resistor RII is fed by the output voltage of a full path rectifier R6 whose input terminals are connected to the ends of the secondary voltage 2S of the transformer T'2.

The polarity of the counter resistance RH is controlled by a switching system in which two contacts FIVl, FIV2 for forward running and RE1, RE? for Rüel @ wärtslartf are arranged.

If the contacts for forward or Rüelzivär, tslarif are activated, the ends of the rheostat RH are connected with opposite polarity to the output terminals of the rectifier R6, so that the rheostat, depending on the activation of the contacts for forward or reverse rotation, is connected fed by one or the other polarity.

It is. it is not necessary here to explain in detail how these contacts are operated for forward or reverse rotation, since. such control, be it manual or automatic, does not constitute an essential part of the present invention.

The rheostat RII is. With. an adjustable tap T, via which a variable DC voltage can be taken from the control resistor. This tap voltage of the control resistor is the reference voltage, the value of which determines the speed of the induction motor. This tapped part of the variable resistor is connected in series with the output voltage of the generator PG.

The series holding includes the control field windings FC and R (of the magnetic amplifier for forward or reverse direction. The output voltage of the load rectifier FR is fed to the star windings AF, BF, CF and DF for forward direction of the corresponding,

With the circuit described above, the notor runs up in the forward direction. When the continuous operating speed is reached, the voltage range of the control generator is almost the same as the reference voltage. The speed is now regulated by a value determined by the setting of the variable resistor RII.

If, for example, the engine speed increases with this reference voltage setting, the output voltage of the control generator also increases. The output voltage of the control generator then comes closer to the reference voltage, so that the ampere turns of the control winding FC decrease. This increases the impedance of the iTIF magnetic amplifier and: reduces its output voltage.

This sinking ring of the output voltage acts at the same time on the control signals of the magnetic amplifiers Hil,: 1111 and 37C, whose impedance increases at the same time. becomes'. Lowering the output voltage of the last. The so-called magnetic amplifier causes a drop in the voltage on the motor 0I, so that its speed decreases.

The equilibrium is reached at the point at which the difference between the voltage of the control generator and the voltage of this rain resistor results in the control voltage at which the moment for the respective load. the engine speed is maintained.

If the Laistmoment changes at a given speed setting, the engine speed will of course deviate somewhat from the speed present at the previous load condition. Tests have shown, however, that in the control area the speed-torque characteristic remains very flat up to the hippmonient.

Indeed, the control achievable with this anoTd in this regard is of the kind that is usual with the more complicated and more expensive voltage-variable traction current systems.

If in this operating state it is desired to set the speed of the motor to a different value, the tapping of the variable resistor RII is brought to a new setting, namely to a higher or lower voltage, depending on whether the Rotation speed. should be increased or decreased.

The subsequent change in the excitation of the control windings of the magnetic amplifier controlling the motor results in a change in the motor speed in the desired direction. The equilibrium is reached again at the point at which the output voltage of the approaches the voltage of the variable resistor.

If the engine was from this operating status:, that means. If the forward run is to be stopped, the forward run contacts F1 1 and FW2 are opened. As a result, the reference voltage variable resistor is immediately de-energized and the reference voltage is removed from the control winding circuit of the magnetic amplifier for forward and reverse operation. Only the span of the control generator PG now lies on this circle.

The excitation of the corresponding control windings <B> FC </B> and RC is therefore reversed. This excitation is indicated in FIGS. 6 and 7 by the streamlined arrows R. The resulting ampere turns excite the magnet booster JIR for reverse rotation in the saturation direction:

g while they are serving to drive the magnetic amplifier JIF for forward running of its blocking range. The JIF amplifier now does not conduct, although it does practically at the same time. in which the -amplifier JIR becomes conductive.

The control is shifted from the control windings for the forward running of the magnetic amplifier controlling the motor to their control windings _1R, <I> BR, </I> CR and DR for reverse running.

The dashed arrow R in FIG. 3 indicates that in this state the magnetic amplifiers JT_1 and JIB remain conductive as a function of the ampere turns generated by this excitation. The dashed arrows R in FIGS. 4 and 5 indicate that the magnetic amplifier JIC is in its blocking range.

and the magnetic amplifier JID is driven into its passband. It can be seen from the vector diagram in FIG. 2 that phase unification takes place in this circuit, as is indicated by the dashed arrows.

The condition obtained causes an electrical countercurrent braking of the motor. This means that at this point in time, the excitation takes place in a direction that tries to reverse the motor.

However, since the excitation depends on the voltage of the control generator, the braking effect obtained is directly proportional to the speed and therefore decreases in a similar ratio to the decreasing speed of the Mo: tox-. until it stops at a standstill of the engine.

If the forward running motor is to be controlled, the contacts F'W1, FtW2 are opened. and the contacts REI., RE2 closed.

This reverses the polarity of the DC voltage applied to the @ ezu @ sspannungs-Regehv iderstan @ l <I> RH </I> and with it the polarity of the reference voltage in the control winding circuit of the magnetic amplifier for forward and reverse rotation. This relation: voltage has. now. the lead polarity as the output voltage of the control generator PG.

As already explained when switching off the engine, the 1-la; netv amplifier for forward running is switched off and the magnetic amplifier for reverse running is conductive,

but now under the effect of the reference voltage acting on the control winding RC for reverse rotation. Therefore, the engine is braked to a standstill. During this braking decreases. the voltage of the control generator and becomes \ zero when the speed of the motor is zero.

The voltage of the reference voltage variable resistor is still applied to the control winding RC, so that the phase inversion of the excitation of the motor is maintained. The engine now runs up in the opposite direction. whereby its speed is fully regulated depending on the Bezn2sspan- nun.g.

As in most closed-loop controllers, a certain amount of damping may be desirable during operation of the control device in order to maintain adequate stability of the control process.

Such a damping can be achieved if the damping

The principles explained above are also used in the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 8, in which a device for controlling a three-phase motor is shown, which is used to drive the slip regulator of an induction motor.

In Fig. 1, the magnetic amplifiers are shown with separate cores with closed loops for each winding. In Fig. 8, the Magnetic amplifiers are shown with three-legged cores, with the HalLptwieklun- gen on one outer leg and the control windings on the middle Legs are arranged. This is intended to provide a better overview.

The two amplifier types are physically different, but they are seen here as being equivalent to one another.

The motor to be controlled according to FIG. 8 is a three-phase induction motor IH with a primary control PTV which is connected to a three-phase network L4, L5, <I> L6 </I>. The motor is controlled by controlling the resistance of the circuit of the secondary winding. For this purpose, adjustable resistors are switched on in the circuit of the secondary winding SW.

This control of an induction motor is usually referred to as slip control and the device used for this is referred to as slip control. There are different types of visual regulators. In the present case, a liquid regulator is shown, as it is usually used in induction motors with high power. becomes.

The Sehhipfregler SR shown comprises three 10, 20 and 30, which are connected in series with the three phases of the secondary level. The adjustable resistors each include a fixed electrode 11, 21 and 31 and a movable borrowed electrode 12, _? and 32.

These electrodes are arranged in a container which is filled with a suitable electrolyte so that the resistance value of the corresponding circuits can be changed by adjusting the electrodes. In practice, the movable electrodes are mechanically coupled to one another. and operated at the same time.

In this embodiment the inventors; the moving electrodes of the control unit are driven by an AC motor 1T, referred to here as a control motor, which drives the Pig. 1 corresponds to. The amplifiers 31.1, <I> 11B,

</I> lIC and 1ID containing part of the control device is also in its working method the same. correspond to the part of FIG. 1. Therefore, these parts have been given the same reference numerals and the function of this part of the device can be understood from the discussion of FIG.

The control motor 11 actuates the slip regulator in such a way that the power consumption of the induction motor <I> IN </I> is held at a certain value.

When the power consumption is a certain value. exceeds, the low-speed regulator is operated in such a way that the resistance of the circuit of the secondary winding increases. is, while when the current falls below a certain value the resistance of the circuit of the qeku is irndärwiekliing diminished.

In general, when starting a device of this type, the movable electrodes are arranged at the furthest distance from the fixed electrodes. Therefore, when the motor is connected to the power grid, it flows. now a minimum load current. <B> Uni </B> to increase the speed of the motor, one must reduce the proximity of the electrode, so that the resistance of the circuit of the secondary voltage is also reduced.

The movable electrodes are lowered so long, until the. Amperage reaches a certain value, after which the amperage is regulated to the setpoint value.

This control requires a change in the control of the movable electrodes

The magnetic amplifier: 17L includes main windings lIL-zl and IULB, which are in series with.

one rectifier JIL3 or 11L4 are connected in parallel to each other. This main circuit connected in parallel is. connected in series with the AC alternating current of the full way load rectifier LR to the AC power source represented by the transformer T2.

This amplifier also includes the aforementioned control signal. <I> LP </I> a further control winding LC, a damping winding LD and a bias winding LB. The control windings AE, <I> BE, </I> CE and <I> DE </I> of the magnetic amplifiers 11A, <I> MB, </I> J1IC or

aID are connected to each other in parallel to the output terminals of the load rectifier <I> ER. </I>. Likewise, the control windings AL, BL, <I> CL </I> and DL of the last-mentioned magnetic amplifier are connected in parallel to the output terminals of the load rectifier LR.

  In this embodiment of the invention, the control windings EC and LC of the amplifiers IIIE and TIL, which in a certain respect correspond to the amplifiers IIF and ITIR of FIG. 1, are connected in series with the: output terminals;

emmen of the control generator PG, which is driven as before by the motor l1.

In contrast to the arrangement of FIG. 1, in which the windings EC and LC were additionally excited as a function of a selected bending voltage, the windings EC and LC here, however, do not receive any additional excitation.

Instead of a voltage comparison, in this embodiment of the invention a corresponding control is obtained by comparing the ampere windings in the amplifiers HE and JIL. Here the ampere turns of the control windings EC or LC are compared with the ampere windings of the control windings EP and <I> LP </I>.

The damping windings ED and LD of the 1-magnet amplifier IIE and near are connected one behind the other to the secondary voltage 3S of the damping transformer T3, the primary winding of which is again excited depending on the voltage. which is connected to leads L1 and L2 of motor 3I ..

The bias voltage signals EB and LB are connected to the output terminals of the rectifier R6.

       Figs. 12 and 13 show the characteristics of the magnetic amplifiers IIE and JIL, respectively. According to Fig. 1 \? the ampere turns B of the bias winding EB drive the magnetic amplifier 11111;

in its restricted area. The solid arrow E shows the ampere turns of the control winding EC for that polarity of the voltage of the control generator, which is given by the motor J1 when the movable electroids of the slip controller are raised.

The dashed arrow L opposite the arrow drawn out shows. the ampere windings when the voltage of the control generator is reversed, as occurs during one revolution of the control motor 31 in which the movable electrodes of the low-speed regulator are lowered.

The ampere turns D of the damping windings are effective in the direction counteracting a change in the terminal voltage of the control motor. This damping effect corresponds to that described with reference to FIG.

13 shows that the magnetic amplifier JIL is driven into its blocking range by its bias voltage reduction (arrow B). The Ampermvinditngen L of the control winding LC, represented by the solid arrow, which drive this amplifier in its blocking area,

are to be traced back to a voltage of the control generator of the polarity that results when the control motor JI rotates in the sense that lowers the movable electrodes.

The dashed arrow E opposite the solid arrow represents the ampere-turns which are effective when the motor JI is rotating in the sense of lifting the movable electrodes. Again, the ampere turns D of the damping wave counteract a change in the terminal voltage of the control motor.

In Figures 12 and 13, the ampere turns P drive the control windings EP and LP to drive amplifiers JIE and JIL, respectively.

9, 10 and 11 show the characteristics of the magnetic amplifier switched into the feed circuit of the motor J1. These characteristics correspond to those of the corresponding Ver stronger in FIG. 1.

Each of these amplifiers is driven into its blocking range by the corresponding bias voltage waves (arrows B). When either of their two control signals is excited, the amplifiers JI <1 and JIB are both driven towards their pass range, as indicated by the arrows E and L in FIG.

The optional control by the optional energization of the control windings of the Magnetver stronger 11C and JID is obtained according to Fig. 10 and 11 in that the ampere turns of the control winding CE shown by the arrow E (Fig. 10) drive the amplifier JIC to its throughput range, while according to FIG. 11 the Aniperewindungen E at the same time as.

CE excited control movement <I> DE </I> drive the magnet amplifier JID into its blocking area.

According to FIG. 10, the ampere turns <I> L </I> of the winding <I> CL </I> drive the amplifier JIC into its blocking range, while according to FIG. 11 the ampere turns I of the winding <I> DL < / I> drive the amplifier JID in its flow range when the rocking <I> CL </I> drives the amplifier JIG into its blocking range.

For the sake of simplicity, the usual contact devices or control holders as used in systems of this type for starting, stopping and other auxiliary control functions have not been shown.

To start the engine I.11, the alternating current feed lines L1, L? and L3 of the control motor JI applied to voltage; At the same time, the induction motor IJI is connected to its electrical energy source.

The AC and light current control voltages are supplied by the transformer T? or the aligner R6 supplied. When the lines L1, L2 and L3 are connected to voltage. As already mentioned, when the induction motor IJI is left on, the electrodes of the magnification regulator have the greatest distance. The magnetic amplifier 111.1 begins to conduct its state.

This gives. 15, in which the arrow B shows that the bias winding LB drives this amplifier into its transmission range. At the greatest distance between electrodes, the current consumption is. and thus the number of ampere windings in the control windings L17 is low.

The output of the magnetic amplifier 11L1 is applied to the control winding <I> LP </I> of the magnetic amplifier JIL. This voltage is sufficient to overcome the Anrperewindun #, en B of the bias voltage LB.

Fig-. 13 shows that the resulting ampere-turns of arrows P and B drive this magnetic amplifier into its low-flow range.

-Now the output voltage of the magnetic amplifier <I> 11L </I> is applied to the parallel-connected control windings AL, BL, <I> CL </I> and <I> DL </I> of the Jhig-rret amplifier of the control motor . Fig. 10 and 11 show d'ass the Magnetver stronger JIC by the action of the rocking ('L held locked. (Arrow L in Fig.10),

while, according to FIG. 11, the magnetic amplifier 11D is driven into its flow range by the ampere winds <I> L </I> of the swing DL. The control motor is therefore excited in such a way that it rotates in the direction that lowers the movable electrodes of the slip regulator.

When the movable electrodes are lowered, the resistance of the slow-down regulator drops and the induction motor starts driving the load. During this period of load recovery, the regulation takes place depending on the power consumption.

15 shows that with increasing current consumption, the ampere turns .8 \ of the control circuit L17 also tighten and try to drive the magnetic amplifier ML1 to its blocking range. Cleielly take in the amplifier <I> 311,

71 </I> close the ampere turns S of the control signal E16 and, according to FIG. 1.1, seek to overcome the ampere turns B of the bias winding EB and make the amplifier: 11E1 conductive.

At a point, which corresponds to the current consumption of the inclination motor IJl selected as the setpoint value, the amplifier jlILl is practically blocked while the amplifier JIEl begins to conduct.

At this transition point, the excitation of the amplifier JUL through the control winding <I> LP </I> drops to practically zero, while the excitation of the amplifier JIE through the control winding EP begins to wash away. This function of the amplifier ensures that the phase sequence of the current supplied to the control motor JI is reversed.

When the power consumption increases above the setpoint value, the lb1, a.gnet amplifier JIE becomes conductive, while when the power consumption drops below the setpoint value, the magnetic amplifier JIL becomes conductive.

The output voltage of the control generator PC acts on the magnetic amplifier HE or JIL in a manner opposite to the ampere turns of the control signal EP or <I> LP </I> during the life or lowering of the T: electrodes of the control generator Fig. 12 and 13 can be seen.

For example, in F% g. 13, the solid arrow L indicates the ampere turns of the control winding LC, which in the magnetic amplifier LIL due to that polarity of the St, eu @ ergenerator PC. which are effective when the control motor J1 lowers the electrodes. These ampere turns L then counteract the ampere turns P of the control winding <I> LP </I> acting on the amplifier ML.

As a result of the excitation of the control winding FC through the output of the control generator, the ampere windings L acting simultaneously on the magnet amplifier J7T seek the. Magnetic amplifier SIE to drive its passage area, as the dashed arrow L in FIG. 12 indicates.

The general windings of the control waves and the bias voltage waves in the magnetic amplifiers JLE and JIL are preferably matched to one another in such a way that in this operating state the position amplifier HE is kept blocked in this case, while the other way round when the amplifier JIE conducts and the Voltage of the control generator is reversed,

the ampere turns E of the winding LC of the amplifier JIL make it non-conductive.

As a result of the comparison of the ampere turns of the control winding EP or <I> LP, </I> with those of the control winding EC or

LC in the amplifier 111F or DIL, the control motor Dl therefore runs at a speed which corresponds to the difference between the ampere turns of the two control windings of that amplifier which is currently conductive. The speed of the control motor JI is therefore regulated in such a way that the electrodes are quickly adjusted if there is a large difference between the actual and target current consumption.

In effect, the speed of the motor will be practically directly proportional to the size of the error.

The DIEL and JILI magnetic amplifiers are used as three-stage stages, so that a signal misalignment and switching can take place before the speed controller.

This includes the voltage and power amplifier stages, which are generated by the magnetic amplifiers JIEl, JILl. or the magnetic amplifiers: 11_1, DIB, IIC and IID are shown. Therefore the Ila, -net.amplifiers 1IE and HL can practically be driven to their blocked areas.

If one of the two limit switches ELS and LLS is now activated and the corresponding control winding circuit is interrupted,

The speed feedback can bring the control motor Dl to a standstill by countercurrent braking due to the ampere windings of the control wedges EC and LC acting in the direction of rotation of the motor I'II.

With this arrangement, even a small 1) number feedback is quite effective. In the present case, countercurrent braking is very desirable, since the low-speed regulator driven by the control motor generally has a considerable moment of inertia.

   The generation of a strong braking torque acting on the control motor, that the motor especially in the end positions of the electrodes and with a very small electrode gap;

This enables a control system that is particularly desirable in this application. From the above considerations, it can be seen that the invention creates a control unit for three-phase motors, in which, in addition to the motor or motor to be controlled,

Motors do not contain any rotating parts, and which can advantageously be compared with voltage-changing traction current drive controls, especially with regard to adjustable speed control:

elunff, reversible function for continuous control without reversing contact.vorriehtunf, -en, and good speed control when load changes. This control is carried out without the need to use machines other than the three-phase motor or motors.

These three-phase motors are, however, cheaper in terms of level than comparable DC motors.

When using a rotary drive of the type described (for example the JI motor, the maintenance is reduced to a minimum as a result of the absence of a commutator. The maintenance of the control device is further simplified by the use of the static amplifier, which has no moving parts.

Amplifiers of this type are extreme. robust and can remain in the fry for a long time with correct adaptation to the requirements of the company. In addition, the tone-controllable speed control has the advantage over DC drives of the type mentioned, d'ass the characteristic of a three-phase motor, z.

   B. with Kur7sehltrsslättfer, automatically results in a torque limitation, so that the complicated Stronibe limitation arrangements, as they are often used in voltage-changing DC drives, are superfluous.
