Alarm watch with box enclosed in a protective case The object of the present invention is an alarm watch with a box enclosed in a protective case formed of two caps which can slide on the box and provided with racks, which, when the caps are actuated. born, produce the winding of the movement's mainspring and that of the alarm clock.
This watch is characterized by the fact that said racks act on a common toothed wheel mounted on the stem of the device for winding and setting the time of the movement, this wheel controlling a crown wheel, which meshes with a on the one hand, with the ratchet of the movement motor spring and, on the other hand, by means of a gear, with the ratchet of the striking motor spring.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view from the dial side, and FIG. 2, a section through 11-1I of FIG. 1.
Said embodiment comprises a middle part 1 supporting a bezel 2 and enclosed in a protective case formed of two caps 3 and 4 which can slide on the case; for this purpose, they carry longitudinal guides 6 which can slide in corresponding grooves 5 of the caseband. 7 and 8 are the motor barrels, with a sliding flange, of the movement respectively of the alarm clock.
9 is the stem of the device for winding and setting the time of the movement, with the crown 10. 11 is the wheel carrying the indicator hand of the alarm clock. '12 and 13 are two racks each articulated on one of the caps by means of a pin 14 which they carry and which can move in an elongated opening 15 of the corresponding cap. These racks are guided in the passages 16 of the caseband and mesh with a wheel 17, on either side of the latter. This wheel is integral in rotation with the rod 9, as well as the wheel 18.
The latter meshes with the crown wheel 19, which is engaged, on the one hand, directly with the ratchet of barrel 7 and, on the other hand, with the ratchet of barrel 8, this through the intermediary of the gear 20.
When the caps are moved axially, they wind up both of the. barrel of the movement and that of the sound. The time of the movement is set as usual by axial displacement of the crown 10 and of the rod 9; the alarm time is set by the pusher 21 mounted in the axis of the rod 9 and which acts on the lever 22 terminated by a beak engaged with the teeth of the wheel 11.
Instead of this pusher 21, one could also use a pusher 23 engaged with the teeth of the wheel 11. 24 is a pusher acting on the lever 25, which can immobilize the pin 26 of the striking hammer 27, in order to '' stop ringing. The pushers 23 and 24 are arranged on the side of the caseband facing the crown and symmetrically with respect to the latter.
