Description

  

  Verfahren zum Herstellen von Kolbenringen     und    nach diesem Verfahren  hergestellter Kolbenring    Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein  Verfahren zum Herstellen von Kolbenringen,  z. B. mit gleichmässiger oder ungleichmässiger  Flächendruckverteilung, sowie einen nach die  sem Verfahren hergestellten Kolbenring.  



  Es sind Verfahren zur Herstellung von  Kolbenringen bekannt, bei welchen ein durch  Giessen erhaltener Formringrohling nach dem       notwendigen    Plandrehen oder     Schleifen    der  Seitenflächen zuerst aussen formgedreht wird,  worauf aus dem so bearbeiteten Ringrohling  ein     Segment    von geeigneter Länge heraus  geschnitten. wird; anschliessend wird der Ring  in gespanntem gesehlossenem Zustand innen  rundgedreht. Bekanntlich ist diese letztge  nannte Operation mit einer relativ starken       Materialabnahme    verbunden.  



  Bei diesem bekannten Verfahren wird so  mit.     zuerst,        d.    h. vor dem     Ausschneiden    des       Segmentes    des Ringes, die für die Eigenschaf  ten des Ringes in erster Linie     massgebende     Aussenfläche bearbeitet, während .das meist.  erhebliche Materialbeeinflussung darstellende  Innendrehen in     gespanntem        Zustand        erst     na-eh dem Ausschneiden des Segmentes er  folgt.

   Damit. ist offensichtlich der Nachteil       verbunden,    dass durch die beim Innendrehen  erfolgende     Materialabnahme    im Ring Span  nungen gelöst werden können, welche die  Form     des        Ringes,    d. h. also     insbesondere    die  Form der bereits formgedrehten Aussenfläche       desselben    massgebend beeinflussen.

      Das Verfahren gemäss     vorliegender    Erfin  dung vermeidet     diesen        Nachteil;    es ist da  durch gekennzeichnet, dass der durch Giessen  erhaltene Formringrohling nach dem Plan  bearbeiten der Seitenfläche innen formgedreht       wirst,    worauf aus dem Ringrohling ein Seg  ment von der gewünschten Flächendruckver  teilung entsprechender Länge     herausgeschnit-          ten    wird und anschliessend der Ring in ge  spanntem Zustand     aussen    rundgedreht wird.  



  Damit wird erreicht, dass die für die  Eigenschaften des fertigen Kolbenringes in  erster Linie. massgebende Aussenfläche     des          Ringes        erst    bearbeitet, d. h. in der gewünsch  ten Form erzeugt wird, nachdem alle eine  starke     Materialbeanspruchung    darstellenden       Bearbeitungsschritte,    also     -insbesondere    das  Innendrehen,.     durchgeführt    sind.  



  Das beschriebene     Verfahren    wird zweck  mässig so     durchgeführt,    dass das Innenform  drehen und das     Ausschneiden    .des Segmentes  in der gleichen     Aufspannung        erfolgt,    d. h.  dass das Segment     unmittelbar    nach dem In  nendrehen     herausgeschnitten    wird, ohne dass  vorerst der Ring aus der für das Innendrehen  vorgesehenen     Einspannvorriehtung    heraus  genommen wird.  



  Der nach dem beschriebenen Verfahren  hergestellte Ring, der     ebenfalls    Gegenstand  der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet, kann mit  jeder beliebigen z. B. von der     Einstellung     der zur Bearbeitung des Ringes     verwendeten         Maschine abhängenden Flächendruckvertei  lung hergestellt sein.
