Cleaning apparatus The present invention relates to a cleaning apparatus comprising a body to which are fixed filiform, flexible and elastic elements, the apparatus being characterized in that it is provided, on the one hand, with a perforated member having a large number of small openings and, on the other hand, a tubular member intended for the adduction of a liquid.
The cleaning of an object, sink, container, for example, can be carried out more efficiently with the apparatus according to the invention than with an ordinary brush. On the other hand, the apparatus according to the invention makes it possible to rinse the object to be cleaned with the brush itself since it comprises a shower device.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, a form and an alternative embodiment of the apparatus, object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partially sectional elevation view of the apparatus.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the apparatus taken from line 11-II of FIG. 1, but without the supply pipe, so as to show the position of the brush and the shower device.
Fig. 3 is an elevational view of an alternative embodiment of the apparatus in the form of an elongated brush. According to fig. 1, which is an elevational view partially in section of the apparatus, the latter comprises a body a, provided with filiform elements b, constituting a brush. The body a is pierced with an opening, in which is engaged a perforated member c, provided with a perforated bottom, so as to form a shower. Fig. 2, which is a plan view from line II-11, shows said perforations at d.
In order to ensure the blocking of the per-drilled member c in the opening of the body a, there is placed a lock e formed of a curved strip, wedged between the body a and the perforated member c; this lock has a bar which serves as a gripping bar.
On the perforated member c, is mounted a tubular member formed of a flexible connection tube f, the other end of which is - intended to be fixed to a water supply or another liquid g.
In a variant, the body a and the organ c could be integral with one another. In another variant, the body could be made of an elastic material, so that the perforated member c could be forcibly engaged in the orifice of this body, so as to be automatically retained inside said orifice. .
In the variant according to FIG. 3, the apparatus comprises a handle h fixed to the body a. The reference letters of this figure are the same as those of FIGS. 1 and 2. The filiform and flexible elements b are fixed on a rod a, which is integral with the handle h. The shower device c is fixed on a rod i, which is integral with a sleeve j. This sleeve j surrounds the handle h to which it is fixed by clamping, in a removable manner. On the perforated organ c is. fixed the tubular member f, intended for the adduction of a liquid.
To use the device, the operator connects the member f to a pipe supplying a liquid (tap, for example) and he cleans the object by brushing it using the fili forms and flexible elements b. The liquid flows over them and onto the object to be cleaned.
In the variant according to FIG. 3, the operator holds the device by the handle h.
