Description

Chair The present invention relates to a chair.

There are chairs known in which the seat and backrest are made on an angularly bent plywood sheet. However, cross-sectional cuts through the chair seat and backrest are straight. Sitting on such chairs is therefore only partially comfortable because the seat and backrest do not conform to the natural body shape of the person sitting laterally.

The present invention aims to remedy this disadvantage.

According to the invention, order the seat lind backrest line of the chair from two angled, one seat and one backrest part. forming plywood parts, which each lie on one side of the vertical center plane of the chair that goes through the backrest and are so inclined towards it that both the seat part and the backrest part have a V-shaped cross-section that opens upwards or forwards point.

In the accompanying drawings, an exemplary embodiment of a chair according to the inven tion is shown, namely Fig.1 shows a side view and Fig. 2 shows a front view of the chair. FIG. 3 is a cross section through the chair backrest along the line III-III in FIG. 2.

FIG. 4 illustrates a detail of a cross section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 1 through the chair seat. on a larger scale, and Figures 5 and 6 show details of the chair on a larger scale.

The chair shown has four legs 1, which are formed in pairs by a U-shaped bent tube. The webs 2 of these ge curved tubes are welded to two cross members 3 made of angle iron that run across the chair. The legs of this angle iron are tapered towards the free ends to ver. The traverses 3 are bent up obliquely from the center towards their ends and each wear a cap 5 pushed onto this at the free ends, e.g. B. made of rubber.

The seat of the chair rests on these cross members 3 or caps 5. This seat surface is made up of parts of two bent at an angle, on both sides of the vertical, through the backrest extending center plane of the chair lying plywood parts 20, 21 ge forms, the parts 7 result in the back of the chair.

The two parts 6, 7 are connected to one another by strips 8 bent in a V-shape, e.g. B. made of fiber, the ends of which are glued in Vertie fungen of the facing side edges of the parts 6 and 7, respectively. Between the two parts 6, 7 is. a gap 9 left free. The parts 6 of the parts 20, 21 form the seat part and the parts 7 of the same form the back leaning part of the chair. The parts 6 and the parts 7 are inclined with respect to the aforementioned central plane in such a way that both the seat surface part and the backrest part have a V-shaped cross-section opening upwards or forwards.

While the backrest parts 7 are only connected by a strip 8, two strips 8 are used to connect the parts 6, which are pierced in their part lying in the gap 9. Screws 10 with a square head 11 run through the holes in this strip 8. The screws 10 put holes in the center of the crossbars 3 and a nut 12 is screwed onto these screws below the crossbars Parts 6, 7.

The lower ends of the legs 1 are secured by means of a washer 13 and a cap 11, e.g. B. made of rubber.
