Description

Device for guiding shutter members such as curtains, blinds, roller shutters, shutters and the like The present invention relates to a device for guiding shutter members such as curtains, blinds, shutters with rollers, shutters and the like, comprising two lateral guides each having a rack, and at least one transverse member integral with the shutter member to </ B > guide and provided with two pinions each meshing with one of said racks,

these two pinions being rotatably integral in order to ensure the displacement of said member parallel to itself along the guides and said transverse member being constituted by an outer tube provided with bearings for a rotating member carrying said pinions and intended to rotate in this outer tube during movement of said transverse member.

The device that is the subject of the invention, of the aforementioned type, is characterized in that the said transverse member has elastic means arranged between the said outer tube and the said rotating member to prevent any radial deflection of the said rotating member in the bearings of the said tube.

The drawing represents, by by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is a partial front view, partly in section, of a canvas awning comprising a guide device conforming to the invention. Figs. 2 and 3 are cross-sections, to larger scale, respectively along lines 2-2 and 3-3 of fig. 1.

Figs. 4, 5 and 6 represent details of variants.

The blind shown comprises a canvas curtain 1 supported by a roller device (not shown) and which is capable of more or less closing off an opening delimited by a frame 2.

The lower end of the curtain 1 is guided by a guide device formed of a transverse bar 3, housed in a slide 4 of the curtain, and two lateral guides 5, placed behind the vertical uprights of the frame 3, and with which the ends of said transverse bar cooperate.

As shown to in fig. 1, the bar 3 is formed by an outer tube 6 in the ends of which are driven two bronze bushes 7 < / B> constituting bearings for a rotating member 19, carrying pinions 9 and 10, which is intended for </ B > turn in the tube 6 when moving the bar 3. These pinions 9 and 10 are rotated integral with each other by an inner tube 11 pinned by one of its ends to the pinion axis 10 and the other end of which is provided two diametrically opposed slots 12, in which the ends of a pin 13 driven into the axis of the pinion 9. engage a spring 14,

housed in the inner tube 11 between the end of the pinion axis 9 and a plug 15, tends to < / B> move the two pinions 9 and 10 apart from each other, from the stops formed by a pin 16 and by the right end of the tube 11 de- terminating the maximum length of the assembly by resting against the end faces of the sleeves 7.

As shown to in fig. 2, the lateral guides 5 are formed by metal profiles of straight section in the general shape of C, a rack for the pinions 9 and 10 being formed over their entire useful length by a series of parallel pegs 17 arranged at equal distance from each other in one of the sides of the profile.

Since the pinions and the racks are identical on both sides of the awning, the crossbar 3 can only move parallel to itself along the guides < B> 5, the two pinions 9 and 10, coupled by the inner tube, rotating at the same speed and < B> moving along said guides while being supported by their axis 8 on the wing 18 of the section forming the edge </ U > the opening of the latter opposite to the rack.

Thanks to the presence of the spring 14, the pins 9 and 10 are always kept pressed against the bottom of the lateral guides 5 and the resulting friction tends to maintain the blind in the position assigned to it. This elastic assembly also makes it possible to automatically compensate for small differences in parallelism which may appear between the lateral guides 5.

When a blind such as the one shown is mounted on a vehicle, wagon, trolleybus, car, etc., it is recommended, in order to avoid any unwanted noise, to prevent as far as possible the deflection of the different parts of the guide device.

In the guide device shown, the axial deflection of the pinions 9 and 10 and of the inner tube 11 is prevented by the spring 14. For prevent any radial deflection of the rotating member 19 in the bearings formed by the bushes 7, it is also provided, in the axes 8 of the pinions, two elastic devices 20 shown in detail to in FIG. 3. These devices comprise a pusher 21, housed in a housing 22 formed in the axes of the pinions, which bears elastically against the wall of the bore of the bushes 7 under the action of a spring 23 on the bottom of the housing.

These pushers 21 prevent any radial deflection of the rotating member 19, regardless of the play that the pinion axes 8 may take in their bearings.

In the variant of FIG. 4, the same result is obtained by means of one or more springs such as the elastic blade shown at 24, which resiliently bear, on the one hand, on the inner surface of the outer tube 6 and , on the other hand, on the axis 8 of the pinions, on its part projecting from the sleeve 7. Such elastic blades could also be arranged between the tube 6 and the inner tube 11.

In the variant shown to in FIG. 5, the bushings 7 have a tapered bore and it is the spring 14 which takes up the play of the pins in the bearings and thus prevents any radial deflection of the 'rotating organ nant 19.
