Dans la forme d'exécution décrite, la boîte présentant un fond-calotte et la tige de remon toir étant d'une pièce, on peut monter le mou vement dans la boîte comme indiqué en fig. 3, à la condition que la tige ne porte pas la cou ronne ; bien entendu, il faut pour cela que le mouvement, la boîte, la tige et le tube soient conformés à cet effet ; ainsi, dans la forme d'exécution décrite, le mouvement est mince, présente deux biseaux périphériques, l'un sur sa face supérieure et l'autre sur sa face infé rieure, et le bord du cadran suit la forme du biseau supérieur; grâce au manchon 10, il existe un léger jour entre le mouvement et la boîte ;
Timepiece The object of the present invention is a timepiece comprising a winding stem in one piece, having at its outer end a crown which is assembled to the stem by a rotational movement. The movement, the stem and the box of this part are shaped so that the stem, without the crown, being mounted on the movement, it is possible to engage the latter in the box, the outer end of the stem passing through. through it. This timepiece is characterized by a locking device permanently mounted on the piece and which, in the active position, engages with the stem and prevents it from turning, so that one can, from the outside, fix the crown to this stem or separate it.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention, constituted by a wristwatch. Fig. 1 is an axial half-section. Fig. 2 shows a detail thereof and FIG. 3 illustrates the assembly.
This embodiment comprises a box formed by a bottom-cap 1 through which the tube 2 passes, a glass 3 and a bezel 4 clamping the rim of this glass against a projection 5 of the bottom-cap. Inside the case is the movement 6 fitted with the re-mount rod 7 in one piece and the outer end of which passes through the tube 2 and carries, screwed onto it, the crown 8. The rod 7 present, in its section located in the space between the movement and the box, two flats 9 (see fig. 1 and 2). In this space is arranged the sleeve 10 forming the flange of the box and which can rotate around the axis of the part and slide along the latter. The inner edge of this sleeve has two notches 11 and 12, one narrow and the other wide.
For the assembly of the part, the crystal 3 and the sleeve 10 are removed from the case and the winding stem 7, without its crown, is attached to the movement in its usual place; then this movement is initiated in the box by first putting it in position a shown in solid lines in fig. 3, then by moving it obliquely in its position b, in phantom lines; after which, all you have to do is push it up and down until it takes its final position, the winding stem engaging over its entire length in tube 2.
The sleeve 10 is then placed between the movement and the case, so that its notch 11 is above the stem, and it is pushed in, until the winding stem is engaged in the notch 11 of which the side walls come into engagement with the flats 9 (see fig. 2 on the left), which allows the crown 8 to be fully screwed onto the stem from the outside.
Then the sleeve 10 is raised, it is rotated until its notch 12 is above the rod, and it is pushed in again; it then comes to occupy the position shown in FIG. 1 and to the right of fig. 2, leaving the rod free to turn.
Until now, the assembly of a movement in its box was usually done in two ways: when the box was provided with a removable bottom, we engaged the movement without the stem in it, we inserted this rod in movement through the tube, then it was fixed to the latter by the pull tab, using a tool passing through the opening in the bottom.
In bottom-dome cases, where these operations are no longer possible, the winder rod was made in two sections, one inside, which was fixed in the movement before it was placed in the case. , and the other exterior, which was engaged with the first by passing it from the exterior through tube 2.
In the embodiment described, the box having a base-cap and the winding rod being in one piece, the movement can be mounted in the box as indicated in FIG. 3, on condition that the rod does not carry the crown; of course, this requires that the movement, the box, the rod and the tube are shaped for this purpose; thus, in the embodiment described, the movement is thin, has two peripheral bevels, one on its upper face and the other on its lower face, and the edge of the dial follows the shape of the upper bevel; thanks to the sleeve 10, there is a slight gap between the movement and the case;
finally, the barrel 2 is made as short as possible and its internal diameter as large as possible; on the other hand, the diameter of the winding stem is reduced to a minimum; obviously, these conditions could be replaced by others tending to the same end.
As a variant, the sleeve 10 and the flats 9 could be replaced by other locking devices.
