Description

Method for constructing a wall with several walls and element of construction for the implementation of this method To erect walls with several walls, various methods were used until now, that is to say that each wall was raised separately using conventional construction elements, leaving between two successive walls the desired interval and by putting them in contact, from place to place, by elements placed transversely,

or that specially designed construction elements were used which, by their simple juxtaposition and superimposition, formed a wall with several walls. The walls built according to these methods had walls which were not firmly connected to each other and, moreover, the horizontal joints of the two walls were in principle at the same level.

The method for constructing a wall with several walls, which is the object of the present invention, is characterized in that the different walls of the wall are gradually joined to each other by mutual attachment of building elements. , of which they are composed. The purpose of this hanging is to link the elements, which can have any appropriate shape, to each other in the transverse direction of the wall, as in its vertical direction and in its horizontal direction, so that the wall becomes a rigid whole. , able to withstand a bending moment.

The construction element for the implementation of this process is characterized in that it consists of a slab provided on at least one face with projecting hooking members.

The appended drawing represents schematically and by way of example some embodiments of the element forming the subject of the invention.

Figs. 1 and 2 are views of a square-shaped element and a corresponding half-element, the latter being used to allow the joints between the elements of one wall to be opposed to the joints of the other. wall.

Figs. 3 and 4 are similar views of a normal element of rectangular shape and the corresponding half-element.

Fig. 5 is a horizontal section of a two-walled wall erected using these elements.

The construction element is formed by a slab 1 and by projecting hooking members 2. These have the form of tenons, one of the sides of which is cut in a unilateral dovetail. The tenons form rows, the tenons of two neighboring rows being oriented so that their cut sides face each other and together constitute an entire dovetail. Sufficiently large spaces are reserved between the tenons of each row to be able to introduce the tenons of an element of the opposite wall.

In a variant not shown, the tenons could form continuous ribs. The masonry of a wall takes place by alternately placing the slabs of one wall and those of the other by hooking them to each other by means of the tenons 2. Generally, this installation is done by applying mortar to the contact faces of the slabs.

The walls are preferably mounted so that the joints, both vertical and horizontal, between the elements of the different walls are opposed, that is to say that no joint crosses the wall right through. . From an aesthetic point of view, this system offers the possibility of constructing facing walls with a pleasant appearance, composed of squares, rectangles, trapezoids, triangles or other polygons, depending on the shape chosen for the slabs; these can, moreover, also present different colors.

The slabs can be made of any suitable material, such as concrete, terracotta, etc. Their dimensions can vary within very wide limits. Certain slabs, and in particular those which terminate the wall, comprise edges 3 (fig. 5) of the same height as that of the tenons. These flanges are tinés not only to close the gaps between the walls, but also to ensure a regular spacing from one wall to another and to prevent the element from tilting. When the wall has more than two walls, the slabs forming the elements of the intermediate walls are provided with hooking members on their two faces.

The construction elements described above make it possible to construct walls with several walls, anchored to each other and having such strength and solidity that they can absorb large bending moments.
