Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines nichtmetallischen Schutzüberzuges auf elektrisch nichtleitenden Unterlagen Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines nichtmetallischen Schutzüberzuges auf elektrisch nichtleitenden Unter lagen.
Gemäss dem Verfahren nach der Erfindung wird das Material dieses überzuges in Form einer mit einer elektrisch leitenden Schicht versehenen Folie auf die Unterlage aufgebracht und der Wirkung eines magnetischen Wechselfeldes solcher Frequenz und Dichte der pro Flächen- und Zeiteinheit zugeführ ten Energie ausgesetzt, dass die Folie selbst oder ein zwischen dieser und der Unterlage angeordnetes Bindemittel kurzzeitig zum Schmelzen gebracht wird und so die Folie mit der Unterlage verbunden wird.
Als solche nichtleitende Unterlagen kommen zum Beispiel Körper aus Beton in Frage.
Es können dabei einseitig mit einer Metallschicht versehene Folien oder mit einer metallischen Zwi schenschicht versehene Folien verwendet werden, ge gebenenfalls werden die Folien mit Hilfe schmelz barer Bindemittel, die zwischen Folie und Unterlage angeordnet werden, aufgetragen. Die Verwendung schmelzbarer Bindemittel kommt insbesondere dann in Frage, wenn die aufzubringende Folie aus einem Material besteht, das selbst entweder nicht schmelz bar ist oder sich mit dem in Betracht kommenden Untergrund schlecht verbindet. Das Bindemittel kann dabei auf der Folie angebracht oder als Grund anstrich auf der zu schützenden Oberfläche aufgetra gen werden.

According to the method according to the invention, the material of this coating is applied to the base in the form of a film provided with an electrically conductive layer and exposed to the action of an alternating magnetic field of such frequency and density of the energy supplied per unit area and time that the film itself or a binding agent arranged between this and the substrate is briefly melted and the film is thus connected to the substrate.
Concrete bodies, for example, can be considered as such non-conductive supports.
There can be used foils provided with a metal layer on one side or foils provided with a metallic interlayer; if necessary, the foils are applied with the aid of fusible binders which are arranged between the foil and the substrate. The use of fusible binders comes into question in particular when the film to be applied consists of a material which itself either cannot be melted or which bonds poorly with the substrate in question. The binding agent can be attached to the film or applied as a primer to the surface to be protected.
