Description

Pedestal for traffic signs and barriers The present invention relates to a pedestal for traffic signs and barriers. According to the invention, the base is formed from several stacked plates to facilitate transport, each of which has a recess in the support surface and an elevation on the opposite surface, so that when stacking, the elevation of one plate engages the recess of the adjacent plate .

The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention; 1 is a perspective view of an individual plate, FIG. 2 is a similar view of the plate turned by 1801, and FIG. 3 is a partial section and a partial view of the base.

The base shown is, as it can be seen from Fig. 3, formed by a plurality, for. B. six, stacked circular plates 1. Each of these plates 1 has on one surface an elevation 2 that is concentric-symmetrical with respect to the outer diameter and a recess 3 that is located in the opposite bearing surface with respect to the elevation 2 over such an increase 2 pas send cross form. From Fig. 3 it can be seen that

that when stacking, the elevation 2 of one plate 1 engages in the recess 3 of the adjacent plate 1, so that when stacking the plates rest snugly against one another. Each plate 1 also has a zen tral opening 4, which is used in the stack or base to accommodate a traffic sign-carrying rod. In order to be able to grasp the individual plates 1 more easily with the hands during transport, each plate has recesses 5 on the circumference which form handles that are diametrically opposite one another.

Instead of the shape of a circle in plan, the panels can also have a different geometric shape, e.g. B. polygonal shape.

The plates are expediently made of concrete. To make them easier to identify, they can be painted on the edge. The weight of the individual plates can be chosen arbitrarily, and they can easily be stacked to any desired weight of a base.
