The present invention relates to a single column disconnector for high voltage lines, provided with a rotating jaw-carrying arm, capable of being worm rusted in at least one angular position of service, which is characterized by the fact that it comprises a control shaft mechanically connected, on the one hand, to the rotary arm and, on the other hand, to said jaws,
so that the operation of this shaft causes the angular movements of the arm and its locking in its service position, as well as the opening and closing of the jaws carried by this arm.
The drawing. attached shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the present invention.

Fig. 3 is a sectional view of a detail of FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 is a sectional view on the same scale of the end of the rotary arm and of the articulation of the knives.
Fig. 5 is a partial side view of FIG. 4.
Fig. 6 is a side view of FIG. 5.
Fig. 7 is a schematic view of a variant. Fig. 1 shows an insulator column at 1, the base 2 of which is fixed to a base 3. The column is traversed in its entire height by an operating shaft 4 (fig. 2) made of insulating material, the rotation of which is controlled by a member. not shown and by means of a mechanical transmission placed in the base 2.
On the head of column 1 is fixed a casing 5, the bottom of which comprises a boss 6, provided with a sleeve 7 constituting a bearing in which the upper part of the operating shaft 4 rotates. The lower bearing, not shown , of shaft 4 is carried by base 2.
A bevel gear 8 keyed at the end of the shaft 4 meshes with a bevel gear 8a keyed on a horizontal drive shaft 9 rotating freely in bearings 10, 11 mounted in bosses 12, 13 of the side walls 14, 15 of the housing 5. On the shaft 9 is also keyed a toothed wheel 16 on the hub of which are fixed a disc 17 and an arm 18 carrying at its end a fixed axle 19 on which a roller 20 rotates freely.
The hub of the wheel 16 is retained axially by the internal face 21 of the boss 12 on one side and by the hub of the pinion 8a on the other side, which is itself retained axially by an integral stop ring 22. of the shaft 9. The wheel 16 is fixed to the pinion 8a by screws 23.
The housing 5 comprises a second shaft 24 parallel to the control shaft 9 and rotating freely, on the one hand, in a bearing 25 mounted in a boss 26 of the side wall 15 of the housing and, on the other hand, in two bearings 27 integral with a hollow shaft 28, concentric with the shaft 24 and rotating freely in a bearing 29 mounted with a seal 30 in a boss 31 of the wall 14 of the housing 5, the shafts 24 and 28 going along outside of this boot maker.
On the hollow shaft 28 are keyed, on the one hand, in the housing 5, a toothed wheel 32 meshing with the wheel 16 and, on the other hand, outside the housing, a cam 33. On the shaft 24 is keyed , in the case, a Maltese cross 34 which is retained axially, on the one hand, by a stop ring 35 integral with the shaft 24 and, on the other hand, by one end of the hollow shaft 28, the other end of which abuts against a flange 36 integral with the shaft 24.
The Maltese cross 34 illustrated in fig. 3 com carries four radial grooves 37 arranged at 900 from each other and cooperating with the roller 20 of the arm 18. The edge of the Maltese cross forms, between these grooves, arcs of the circle 38 cooperating with the circular periphery of the disc 17. This perimeter is however interrupted over an arc length of 900 by a notch 39.
On the flange 36 is fixed a rotary arm 40 consisting of a hollow hub 41, in which is force-engaged a tube 42 having at its other end a jaw-carrying head 43. The hub 41 has on its face, facing the housing 5, an opening 45 of sufficient size to allow the wise pitch of the cam 33. This opening is closed by a cover 46 whose hub, provided with a sleeve 47, forms a bearing and rotates freely on the hollow shaft 28.
The cam 33 disposed inside the hub 41 is held axially on one side by the hub of the cover 46 and on the other side by an adjusting ring 48 bearing on the flange 36.
The tube 42 is axially crossed by a pous evening 49 comprising at its lower end a roller 50, rotating freely in a yoke 51 and cooperating with the cam 33. At its upper end, in the head 43, the tube 42 comprises a yoke 52 on the axis 53 of which are articulated two connecting rods 54, 55 respectively controlling the rotation of two lever arms 56, 57, integral with the hubs 58, 59 of two jaws 60, 61, forming contact clamps and pivoted on two fixed axes 62, 63 mounted on cheeks 64, 65 of the head 43.
The pusher 49 has at its lower part a guide ring 66 leaving a certain clearance inside. of the tube 42. The upper part of the pusher 49 passes through a guide provided with a seal 68. A spring, not shown, for example a coil spring bearing, on the one hand, on the pous evening 49 and, on the other hand, on the tube 42, tends to hand hold the roller 50 in contact with the profile of the cam 33.
The two arms 56, 57 are arranged relative to the jaws 60, 61 so that, for the lowest position of the pusher 49, these two jaws are clamped against each other, as illustrated in FIG. 4, and that for the most position. top of the pusher 49, shown in FIG. 2, the two jaws are in the open position, that is to say both located in the same plane perpendicular to the axis of the pusher 49.
Each jaw 60, 61 has at its base a cross member 69, 70 at the ends of which are anchored the ends of two flexible conductor cords 71, 72 which are clamped by plates 73, 74 on plates 75, 76 arranged outside laughter of the cheeks 64, 65 of the head 43.
The operation of the single column disconnector described is as follows In the earthing position, the rotary arm 40 is directed towards the ground, parallel to the column 1, and the jaws are clamped on a contact rod 77 fixed on the side of base 2 and connected to earth. The pusher 49 is therefore in the extreme position shown in FIG. 4.
By actuating the actuator (not shown), it causes, via the bevel gears 8, 8a, the rotation of the control shaft 9 mechanically connected, on the one hand, to the shaft 24 bearing the rotary arm and, on the other hand, to the hollow shaft 28 coaxial with the shaft 24 and -which carries the cam 33. At each complete revolution of the control shaft 9, the mechanisms actuated by this shaft perform a full cycle of operations.
The ratio of the toothed wheels 16, 32 provided in the example described is 5/4, so that this cycle of operations corresponds to a rotation of 36 (M of the shaft 9, to an angular displacement of 900 of the shaft 24 and at an angular displacement of 450 ,, of the shaft 28.
Assuming, according to fig. 3, that the shaft 9 rotates in the direction of the arrow f and that the position I re presents the rest position of the shaft 9, then the illustrated position II corresponds to the unlocking position of the Maltese cross 34 and the start of the rotation of the shaft 24 driving the rotary arm 40. The relative angular position of the toothed wheels 16, 32 and the profile of the cam 33 are such that, for position I, the jaws are closed, while for position II the jaws 60, 61 are completely open and released from the contact bracket E (fig. 1) attached to the high voltage line L.
By moving shaft 9 by 900 to reach position III, shaft 24 and arm 40 are also driven in an angular displacement of 90. As soon as the roller 20 is released from the groove 37 of the Maltese cross, the lock formed by the circular part of the disc 17 and one or the other of the arcs 38 of the Maltese cross 34 blocks the arm 40 in its new angular service position.
During this angular displacement of 900 of the rotary arm 40, the cam 33 has performed an angular displacement of 112.5o. However, with the arm 40 and the cam 33 rotating in the same direction, the displacement of the roller 50 along the cam 33 is in fact only 22.511. The profile of the cam on this 22.50 arc is circular in order to hold the clamps 60, 61 in the opening position.
By moving the shaft 9 by 1350 in order to train it in its rest position I, the cam 33 is driven in an angular displacement of 168.75 during which its profile causes the jaws 60, 61 to close. end of this cycle, the roller 50 and the cam 33 have therefore returned to the relative position they occupied at the start of the cycle. The disc 17 has a single notch 39, so that the unlocking position of the arm 40 illustrated in FIG. 3 is found at each angular displacement of 3600 of the shaft 9 corresponding to an angular displacement of 4500 of the cam 33.
During the last part of the angular displacement of the shaft 9, the cam 33 caused the closing of the jaws 60, 61 which closed on the caliper E. By actuating the shaft 4 again, the operator causes the command of a new cycle of operations, as described above, during which the rotary arm is again moved 90,) to occupy a new radial position.
When the jaws 60, 61 are electrically connected to the high voltage line L, by the intermediary of the yoke E, the electric current of the line is conducted by these jaws, the cords 71, 72, the tube 42 and the head 41 up to the housing 5 which carries a connection terminal 79.
In the variant according to FIG. 7, the insulator 1 carries the housing 5 and the pinion 8 is fixed to the end of an operating shaft 80 arranged on the side of the insulator 1 and parallel to this insulator. This operating shaft is connected by transmission members housed in the base 2 to an operating member (not shown) or to a motor.
Two embodiments of the invention have been described here, by way of example, but it goes without saying that multiple variants can be provided without departing from the scope of the protection claimed. One could, for example, provide two arms 18 and a transmission ratio between the pinions 16 and 32 equal to 5/2. The pinion 16 could be connected to the pinion. 32 by a chain. In this case, the transmission ratio between these gears would be equal to 3/4. In addition, it is easily possible, by modifying the shape of the Maltese cross and the cam 33, as well as the number of arms 18, to cause angular displacements of the arm 40 of the desired value during each cycle. operations.
It goes without saying that the transmission ratio between shafts 9 and 24, as well as the shape of the cam 33 and the number of notches 39 of the disc 17 must be adapted to the shape of the Maltese cross and to the number of arm 18.
Given that, during an operating cycle, the shaft 24 moves by an angle corresponding to that separating two neighboring rest positions, and that, at the end of the operating cycle, the shaft 28 must be located with respect to this shaft 24 in the same relative angular position as at the start of this operating cycle,
it is clear that the transmission ratio between the control shaft and the shaft carrying the cam must be equal to the inverse of the ratio between the angle traversed by this control shaft between two neighboring rest positions and the angle separating two operating positions of the rotary arm increased by the angle traveled. by the drive shaft.
The single column disconnector, according to the invention, has, compared to known constructions, the advantage of making it possible, with a minimum of bulk and by actuating a single operating member, to establish at will an electrical connection with one or the other of several parallel high voltage lines, these being arranged on a circumference in the center of which is articulated the rotary arm of the disconnector.
