Description

  

      Gleitschutz-Unterlage        für    Teppiche    Bis jetzt     bekannte        Gleitschutz-Unterlagen    für  Teppiche bestehen meist aus Kreppgummi. Da diese  Unterlagen ungefähr gleich gross sein müssen wie  der Teppich, so kommen sie so teuer zu stehen, dass  sie des hohen Preises wegen selten verwendet werden.  Ausserdem haben solche Unterlagen insbesondere  unter dem Einfluss von Bodenwichse keine lange  Lebensdauer.  



  Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Gleit  schutz-Unterlage für Teppiche, welche dadurch ge  kennzeichnet ist, dass sie auf beiden Seiten     eine     selbstklebende Schicht aufweist. Die erfindungs  gemässe     Gleitschutz-Unterlage    weist beispielsweise  eine Schicht aus relativ weichem Material auf, welche  auf beiden Seiten mit einer selbstklebenden Textil  auflage versehen ist. Eine solche Textilauflage ist  bereits im Handel erhältlich und besteht aus einem  Textilstoff der auf beiden Seiten eine selbstklebende  Masse besitzt. Die selbstklebenden Flächen sind mit  einer Schutzfolie z. B. aus Papier zur Lagerung und  zum Versand geschützt.

   Zur Herstellung der Gleit  schutz-Unterlage wird nun von einer solchen Textil  auflage die eine Schutzfolie abgezogen und durch  einen weichen Karton oder einen wenige     Millimeter     starken     Viscose-Schwamm    ersetzt, den man einfach  auf die selbstklebende Fläche der     Textilauflage     drückt. Das gleiche wiederholt man auf der     andern     noch freien Seite des Kartons bzw. des     Viscose-          Schwamms,    so dass die     Gleitschutz-Unterlage    also  z. B. aus dem Karton bzw. dem     Viscose-Schwamm     besteht, der auf seinen beiden     Flächen    mit je einer  Textilauflage versehen ist.

      Da diese Unterlage nicht nur auf den Boden  zu liegen     kommt    wie eine     Kreppgummi-Unterlage,          sondern    auch noch auf dem Boden klebt, so ist es  nicht nötig, die ganze Teppichfläche zu unterlegen.  Es genügt, wenn wenigstens die vier Ecken des Tep  pichs     unterlegt    sind. Dazu eignen sich am besten  kreisrunde Stücke.  



  Vor Gebrauch werden die auf beiden Seiten der       Unterlagestücke    vorhandenen Schutzfolien von der       Selbstklebemasse    gezogen, worauf die Stücke zwi  schen Boden und Teppich gelegt und der Teppich  mit dem Fuss gegen den Boden gedrückt wird.  



  Solche     Gleitschutz-Unterlagestücke    sind derart  billig, dass man sie gut von Zeit zu Zeit, z. B. beim  Teppichklopfen, erneuern kann.

Since these pads have to be about the same size as the carpet, they are so expensive that they are rarely used because of the high price. In addition, such underlays do not have a long lifespan, especially under the influence of floor wax.



  The present invention relates to an anti-skid underlay for carpets, which is characterized in that it has a self-adhesive layer on both sides. The anti-skid pad according to the invention has, for example, a layer of relatively soft material which is provided on both sides with a self-adhesive textile pad. Such a textile overlay is already commercially available and consists of a textile material which has a self-adhesive mass on both sides. The self-adhesive surfaces are covered with a protective film e.g. B. made of paper for storage and shipping.

   To produce the anti-skid pad, the protective film is removed from such a textile pad and replaced by a soft cardboard or a few millimeters thick viscose sponge, which you simply press onto the self-adhesive surface of the textile pad. The same is repeated on the other, still free side of the cardboard or the viscose sponge, so that the anti-skid pad is e.g. B. consists of the cardboard or the viscose sponge, which is provided on each of its two surfaces with a textile layer.

      Since this underlay not only lies on the floor like a crepe rubber underlay, but also sticks to the floor, it is not necessary to lay the entire carpet surface under it. It is sufficient if at least the four corners of the carpet are underlaid. Circular pieces are best for this.



  Before use, the protective films present on both sides of the support pieces are removed from the self-adhesive, whereupon the pieces are placed between the floor and the carpet and the carpet is pressed against the floor with the foot.



  Such anti-skid pads are so cheap that you can use them well from time to time, e.g. B. when beating carpets, can renew.
