Drafting device for a spinning machine with a locking and lifting device for the guide arm The present invention relates to a drafting device for a spinning machine with a locking and lifting device for the guide arm.
In previously known long guide arms with high pressure roller loads, as they are used in particular on flyers, it was only possible with considerable effort to release the arm from the operating position and to lock it again from the non-operating position in the operating position. This had a very detrimental effect on physically weaker operators due to earlier fatigue.
This deficiency has been completely remedied in the present drafting system. The invention is characterized by an actuating arm that can be pivoted about a fixed axis from a locking to a high position and vice versa, which is articulated to the guide arm, which can also be folded up about a fixed axis, by an intermediate member and is held in the high position by an energy store.
In the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings, an embodiment of the invention will be explained in more detail. 1 shows a partial section through a drafting system with a guide arm in the locked operating position, FIG. 2 the same guide arm alone, omitting the lower part of the drafting system, in the unfolded unlocked position, FIG. 3 a cross section of the guide arm along the line 1-I of Fig. 1.
The with an attachment 1 (Fig. 1) of the punch 2 of the drafting system firmly connected, along the Ma machine through rod 3 is encompassed at each stretching field by a clamping piece 4, which is rigidly connected to the rod 3. The clamp 4 serves the guide arm 5 as an abutment and pivot point. For this purpose, a also through the clamping piece 4 butting bolt 7 is provided through the legs 6 of the guide arm 5, about the center of which the pivoting is completed.
Also pivotally mounted on the clamp 4 with the help of bolts 8 is a guide arm over cross U-shaped bracket 9 on which an extension 10 is attached, which extends beyond the front part of the guide arm and at the end slightly bent upwards as well is completed by a handle 11. This unit is called the actuating arm.
This arrangement ensures that the operator's hand grips the handle from above with the hand structure and can release the lock by pushing it obliquely upwards from below (see arrow in FIG. 1). Within the bracket 9, at each leg 12 rotatably attached at the top at 13 ', there is a connecting member 13, the lower end of which is connected to the respective side leg 6 of the guide arm rotatably bar. As can be seen in FIG. 3, this is done by means of a continuous bolt 14.
The arrangement of the hinge points 14 and 13 'of the connecting member 13 and the bracket pivot point 8 is now such that in the locked state, as shown in FIG. 1, they lie in a straight line and preferably in a normal to the plane of the stretched field.
The bracket-connecting link combination is in the .einzig possible dead center position. In this constellation, the maximum possible normal force to the stretching field plane acts on the guide arm for each unit of force applied on the handle. It is therefore easy to see that even a very small force, which is ultimately necessary to overcome the friction, is sufficient to move the combination out of the dead center position. With increasing pivoting of the actuating arm, the force to be applied then also increases until the impact of the extension 10 of the same on the guide arm 5 stops the pivoting movement (FIG. 2).
A spring 15 suspended from the extension on the one hand and on the arm on the other holds the arm in this position.
To secure locking of the guide arm in the operating position, the following measure must be taken: A stop 16 on the guide arm 5 is attached a little further forward than the exact dead position would be required, so that the bracket 9 only immediately after the dead center position is exceeded Stop 16 comes to a standstill.
With this extremely simple aid, the required stable position is sufficient, since in this the reactions acting on the bolt 14 on the connecting members 13, which originate from the pressure bodies of the guide arm, do not move the same back into the dead center position of the bracket-connecting member combination , but at most (with complete freedom from friction) could lead out of this.
