La fig. 6 représente, vu de dessous, un sous-pied coupé dans le même tissu que le pantalon et ne pos sédant donc pas, comme c'est le cas habituellement, une élasticité plus forte que le tissu dans lequel est coupé le pantalon. Ce sous-pied 7 est cousu par ses bords 7a et 7b aux bords inférieurs, intérieur et extérieur de la jambe;
Tapered pants The object of the present invention is tapered pants characterized in that the lower end of the legs has a gusset intended to facilitate the passage of the foot.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the trousers which are the subject of the invention, as well as variants.
Fig. 1 is a view in. front elevation of the lower leg, cut but not assembled, of said embodiment.
Figs. 2, 3 and 4 are side views, on a smaller scale, of the lower leg, mounted, in three variants of the bellows.
Fig. 5 shows a tongue which, attached to the front of the leg, is intended to cover the neck of the foot, and FIG. 6 shows a part intended to serve as an underfoot.
In fig. 1, a tapered pants leg, cut but not mounted, is shown partially, in front elevation, the front 1 in solid lines and the back 2 in dotted lines. The lower end has a side part 3 for the front, 4 for the back, which can be cut either on the inside (crotch) or on the outside of the barrel, and which forms, when the back and the front of the pants are assembled, a gusset not very visible when worn. Indeed, for the assembly of the back and the front of each leg, the side parts 3 and 4 are folded inside and their edges sewn together.
It is also possible, as in the variant of FIG. 2, stitch together the edges of side parts 3 and 4, leaving them outside and folding them against the outside of the back 2, then sewing with this outside of the back 2 only the upper edges 3a, < I> 4a and lower 3b, 4b. The edge of the gusset is then visible when worn.
The edge of the side parts 3 and 4 forming the bellows can be cut in a straight line as in figs. 1, 2 and 3, or in a curved line as in the variant of FIG. 4.
The existence of the bellows, interior or exterior, visible or not, makes it possible to achieve a distinctly more spindle. tights than in the pants known until now, and presenting no difficulty in passing the foot by putting on or removing the heel panel.
The width and length of the side parts 3, 4 which form the bellows may vary according to the models and according to the size of the pants. The gusset can be applied to men's pants as well as to the lady's heel pan.
The front 1 of the leg has, at its lower end, a triangular notch 5 at the edges 5a of which is sewn by its edges 6a a generally triangular-shaped tab 6 shown separately in FIG. 5. This tongue is designed to fit over the instep.
Fig. 6 shows, seen from below, an underfoot cut from the same fabric as the pants and therefore not having, as is usually the case, greater elasticity than the fabric from which the pants are cut. This sub-foot 7 is sewn by its edges 7a and 7b to the lower, inner and outer edges of the leg;
its average length x is designed so that it underlies the edges of the opening of the barrel and its width y, greater than that of ordinary elastic foot pads, all so that the trousers are always well stretched over the foot and that its lower edges descend almost to the level of the sole of the foot.
