Waterproof chronograph The present patent relates to a waterproof chronograph, comprising at least one pusher. It is characterized by the fact that it comprises a sealing ring embedded in an internal annular groove of the middle part and a metallic ring concentric with this sealing ring and elastically pressing the latter against the bottom of said groove, said pusher consisting of a head sliding in a recess in the middle part against at least one spring and by a body passing through the two said rings.
The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view; fig. 2, a fragmentary section along the line II-II of FIG. 1.
The chronograph shown comprises a movement 10 housed in a case formed by a caseband-bezel 11, by a crystal 12 mounted notch in the bezel and by a screwed back 13. It also comprises a dial 14 and the traditional hands of a chronograph. , in particular a 15 second hand.
The tightness between the middle 11 and the back 13 is ensured by a package 16 crushed between two corresponding annular surfaces of these two parts.
The triggering of the movement of the second hand 15, its stopping and its reset to zero are controlled by two push-buttons 17 arranged symmetrically with respect to the winding and time-setting crown 18.
Each of the pushers 17 is formed of a prismatic head 19 capable of sliding in a correspondingly shaped recess 20 made in the middle part, and of a body 21 on the end of which is screwed a screw 22 which acts on a control member 23 of movement 10.
The seal between the pusher 17 and the middle 11 is ensured by a ring 24 of flexible material embedded in an annular groove 25 formed in the inner wall of the middle 11, which is elastically pressed against the bottom of the groove 25 by a ring metallic 26 concentric with the ring 24.
These two rings are crossed with greasy friction by the body 21 of the pusher 17. The ring 24 serves as a support for two guide pins 27 of two return springs 28 of the pusher, housed in the head 19 of the latter, while the ring 26 forms a stop for the screw 22 which fixes the rest position of the pusher 17.
A sealing washer 28 is also placed between the caseband 11, the back 13 and the ring 26 in order to improve the sealing of the chronograph.
