Description

The invention relates to a watch with automatic winding of the tension spring driving the gear folder by an electric motor, with a winding and with a spring wheel and with control means checking their relative position to each other, by means of which a contact can be closed when this relative position changes by a certain angular amount due to the movement of the movement and the electric motor can be switched on, whereby the winding wheel can be continued by the amount of the run-off angle of the spring wheel and the contact can be separated again via the control means.

The purpose of the invention is to design a clock mentioned at the beginning in such a way that, with increased accuracy, reliable operation of the electric clockwork is achieved.

A clock of the aforementioned type with a spring winding caused by an intermittently switched on small electric motor is z. B. known from DOS 2 045 224, from which the present invention is based.

The activation of the electric motor causing the elevator process takes place as a function of the occurrence of the expiry of the associated energy storage device. Here, such an arrangement can be made that the elevator process synchronously with the intermittent further movement of the display means, for. B. the display devices digitally displaying the time, this display means can be advanced directly from the electric motor via the downstream Getriebeglie.

Such an arrangement has the advantage that the spring accumulator and subordinate gear folder are not influenced by different loads originating from the display system, but the flow control can be done freely through the gear folder and only serves to the z. B. every half minute or every minute success lowing elevator of the spring accumulator and the continuation of the associated display means, which is caused by the electric motor to control or trigger.

In these known electric clockwork elevators with a small electric motor, the function ensures that when the electric motor is switched on, the winding of the spring accumulator is effected by an angular amount corresponding to the sequence that has taken place since the last winding operation, although there are considerable differences in terms of system to system the time intervals are to be recorded after which the elevator process is repeated.

When the small electric motor is switched off, the kinetic energy stored in it due to the relatively high speed of the rotor is compensated for in the form of what is known as a lag, which is very dependent on the supplying battery voltage on the one hand and the loads acting on the rotor on the other. These loads can be caused by the characteristics of the spring accumulator as well as by frictional resistance in the rotor bearings and on the collector of the electric motor, as well as by friction in the downstream gear elements that lead from the electric motor to the spring accumulator.

These different stopping movements of the driving electric motor are recorded by the contact control and also roughly compensated, however, it is unavoidable that these processes change the average winding state of the spring accumulator by certain percentages that are not too high.

These differences in the mean winding state of the spring energy store have an effect on the effective torque output and thus influence the isochronism of the gear folder. The different stopping movements of the motor can cause rate errors in the clockwork. The changes in the battery voltage, which inevitably occur gradually with commercial batteries while the supply current source is being used, are of particular influence here and can lead to the spring-loaded accumulator delivering an average slightly reduced torque to the speed controller after a while shows a gait behavior that deviates from the original regulation.

In addition, as already mentioned, the influences of the bearing and brush friction of the motor rotor as well as the influences from the downstream Ge transmission elements.

From this it follows that, as a rule, undesired changes in the gear occur during the operating time in such clocks that are automatically wound up by an electric motor, which lead to disadvantageous deviations in the time display.

Another factor here is that the different stopping of the motor places certain requirements on the structural design of the contact device causing the intermittent switching on of the electric motor. It must be ensured that even with a freshly inserted battery, i.e. with increased voltage, double actuation of the elevator process cannot occur, but that the electric motor is only allowed to catch up with a spring elevator path corresponding to the normal elevator interval per activation. The structural measures required for this purpose are already provided for in the subject matter of DOS 2 045 224 and are also described in detail in this DOS.

Due to the special choice and arrangement of the tension spring 13 in the subject of DOS 2 045 224, the influence of a different actuation path of the elevator motor with decreasing supply voltage of the battery and / or with decreasing or increasing friction in the motor or transmission is already significantly reduced .

This fact is attributable to the fact that as the engine coasts down, i. H. In the event of a stronger winding movement on average and thus increased tension of the spring 13, the special arrangement of the suspension points 32 and 34 of the spring 13 effectively changes the radii that are decisive for the transmission of the torque, to the effect that with greater tension of the tension spring 13 this tensile stress becomes effective at relatively smaller radii than when the tension spring 13 is less tensioned. In comparison to other known arrangements, the influence of the battery tension on the gear behavior in the subject of DOS 2 045 224 is therefore considerably reduced.

Despite these relatively aufwen-ended and thus expensive measures described above, there are still repercussions of the motor run-down on the winding state of the tension spring 13 and thus the drive of the gear folder, which are particularly pronounced when the clockwork is operated for a long time and especially when the clock is powered make voltage-variable battery disadvantageous.

The object of the present invention is therefore to reduce the influence of age-related changes in the operating voltage and the friction conditions in the motor and in the drive mechanism, which in an arrangement according to the preamble of patent claim to different elevator conditions of the spring accumulator, to different operating positions of the contact device and directly from To the drive motor downstream gear members actuated to display devices can lead to a misalignment of the display means to completely prevent.

The solution to this problem is essential for a safe function of an arrangement according to the preamble of claim and required for battery-powered devices for a sufficient, satisfactory running time and z. B. with digital clocks, whose display system is directly from the drive motor of the clockwork downstream Ge gear members intermittently with the elevator sequence is made just necessary if you want to prevent that in operation of such a digital clock, especially when battery power, gradually an adjustment, ins especially the one-minute display drum occurs opposite its correct display position.

The invention solves the problem in that in the power flow between the electric motor and gear folder, between the former and the elevator wheel, only for the transmission of a constant closed number of motor rotational movements within the rotational movement impulse of an elevator process effective, those in front of and / or behind it Motor rotation movements of the transmission excluding rotary movement transmission device is ordered,

with such a choice of the ratio of the transfer effective to the non-transfer effective angle of rotation range of the rotary motion transmission device that it always assumes its rest position in the non-transfer effective angle of rotation range.

An expedient embodiment of the invention is that the rotary motion transmission device is designed as a stepping mechanism, which can only be switched during a certain number of revolutions of the electric motor within the rotary motion impulse of an elevator operation, but cannot be influenced by the remaining rotary movements in front of and / or behind it.

The stepping mechanism between the electric motor and the winding wheel only transfers the middle range of the rotary motion impulse of the motor to the spring accumulator during an elevator operation, while the number of start and end rotary motions of the rotary motion impulse in the forwarding are suppressed.

It is thus only a certain number of its rotary movements transmitted with each rotary motion pulse of the elevator motor, while the remaining rotary movements, regardless of their number and regardless of their relative position to the usable rotary motion range are prevented.

The same actuation path is always transmitted from the rotary motion transmission device for each elevator impulse and elevator operation, this transferring movement being largely independent of the stopping of the motor, so a phase shift of the output shaft to the display means cannot occur.

The application of the invention is possible both in a clock according to the preamble of claim as the sole means of keeping the elevator state constant or to stabilize the position of the time display means and to prevent double actuation of the elevator, as well as, for. B. conceivable in a clock according to the subject of DOS 2 045 224, in which other, but less effective means for achieving the same goal are already provided.

An expedient development of the invention consists in the fact that in the case of the electric motor via this downstream transmission members positively directly driven Zeitan display device (pointer mechanism, digital display), the output shaft leading to the display device is derived from the transmission behind the rotary movement transmission device.

Another, preferred expedient embodiment of the invention is that the stepping mechanism is formed by two mutually engaging gears, the driving gear being provided with teeth only over part of its circumference and the position of the driven gear when passing through the not with The peripheral part of the driving wheel provided with teeth is fixed by a cylinder segment connected to this and running into a molded part of the driven wheel.

In DAS 1045 917, a motor-driven clockwork is already shown, in which the vibrational movements of an oscillator is acted upon by an output coil. be transferred to the nachgeord Neten spring accumulator by an existing stepping mechanism consisting of a pawl and a ratchet.

In the clock arrangement on which this DAS is based, however, it is essentially a matter of using an oscillating motor instead of a rotating motor, to which a stepping mechanism for converting the reciprocating movement of the gear folder into a rotary movement is assigned such a design of the stepping mechanism that the indexing wheel is switched on at the moment of the highest kinetic energy of the oscillator.

This clockwork arrangement has nothing in common with the task and solution of the present invention. On the other hand, an electric hammer mechanism clock is known from DGM 1 786 392, in which one of the gear members between the motor and the spring mechanism of the movement is assigned a non-circular disk, which alternately actuates the lever of a stepping mechanism via a pin and in this way the spring mechanism of a train arranged percussion gradually winds up.

In this striking mechanism clock it is essentially a matter of creating the possibility of using one and the same drive motor to operate two different spring accumulators independently of each other. With the task and the solution of the present invention, there is no contact here either. By LISA-PS 1 758 206 a drive device for electrical high-voltage switches is also known. In this known arrangement, a stepping device is used to transmit the drive movement from the drive motor to the switch bracket, which is also ge by two meshing gears forms.

The driving gear is also only provided with teeth over part of its circumference, and the position of the driven gear when passing through the non-toothed peripheral part of the driving wheel is fixed by a connected and rotating cylinder segment which is tangent to its periphery Tooth flanks of teeth of the driven gear runs in and secures this in this way.

Through this USA-PS sub-elements of a preferred embodiment of the invention are known to be verified. However, no protection is claimed for these elements.

Finally, from USA-PS 881 630, a transmission mechanism is known which is intended for use in mechanical counters and is formed by two mutually meshing gears. The driving gear is provided with teeth over part of its circumference and the position of the driven gear when passing through the non-toothed circumference of the driving wheel is determined by a cylinder segment connected to this ver, which is between tooth flanks of teeth of the ge that are tangent to its periphery driven wheel runs in, fixed.

This U.S. patent also demonstrates the elements of a preferred embodiment of the invention as known. However, since element protection is not sought, this publication is not relevant for assessing the present invention. From FR-PS 334 629 in turn a clockwork for a portable clock with jumping seconds is known.

The drive for an additional small spring force storage device, which is designed as a small barrel with a tension spring, is derived from the flow of force of the clockwork. This additional barrel is used to drive a pair of ratchet wheels, which are prevented from rotating freely by a pair of cam disks attached to the gear wheel shaft.

One or the other ratchet wheel is released alternately by the pair of cam disks moved with the gear wheel shaft, so that the ratchet wheel pair moves one step further with each process. The arrangement is dimensioned in such a way that a secondary sequence of steps can be achieved.

A special second wheel is driven via a subsequent gear ratio, which is outside the flow of force of the clockwork and is connected to a concentric shaft carrying the seconds hand.

This document discloses the use of a stepping mechanism controlled by the gear folder for generating a second step sequence of the second hand in a portable watch. However, there is no relationship to the subject matter of the present invention.

An article by Underberger stressing spring roller counters at high counting speeds, published in the German magazine Feinwerktechnik, Volume 57, Issue 11, 1953, pages 339-343, deals with and examines the dynamics of so-called spring roller counters. These are counters in which toothed switching mechanisms are combined with digi tal number drums in an expedient manner, such that a spatially favorable structure is obtained when number drums of different decadic units are arranged coaxially next to one another.

However, such jumping roller counters are generally known and in use. You will learn every kind of decadic counters, e.g. B. electricity meters, water meters, km meters, etc., are widely used. Protection for such counters and gear mechanisms is not sought.

In addition, such a Ausgestal device of the invention is particularly expedient that the molded part is formed by the periphery of the cylinder segment of the driving wheel tangential tooth flanks of teeth of the driven wheel.

Such a development is conceivable here that the toothed segment of the driving wheel and the cylinder segment connected to it are arranged in planes immediately adjacent to one another and the tooth flanks tangent to the cylinder segment are formed by extended teeth of the driven wheel projecting into the plane of the same.

The arrangement can advantageously be made in such a way that the n teeth of the driving wheel lying between the two teeth of the driven wheel that are peri pher tangent to the cylinder segment and in front of the meshing center line in the meshing area have reduced tooth depth and that the teeth of the toothed segment n- Teeth opposite reduced tooth depth are arranged upstream, which pass the n-teeth of the driven wheel tion without flank contact and only come to flank contact with a tooth lying behind the engagement center line.

Another advantageous embodiment of the invention can consist in that the driving wheel of the indexing mechanism is assigned a worm gear toothing that engages the motor worm and the driven wheel of the indexing mechanism is assigned a toothing that engages with the winding wheel of the clockwork. The advantages of the invention are considerable. So a much better accuracy is first achieved through constant drive of the sequence control causing the gear folder.

This is possible thanks to the even winding of the spring-loaded accumulator, which is no longer subject to the various effects of fluctuating battery voltage and changed friction conditions.

The constant actuation of the contact device is guaranteed by the even movement of the spring energy store. A changing reaction of the contact springs acting on the switching wheels of the elevator is avoided, which also promotes the accuracy.

The uniform actuation of the elevator results in lower tolerances for the actuation of the contacts, so that external reactions, for example when adjusting the display device, are avoided and z. B. un indirectly following triggers of the motor lift are prevented with security.

The continuation of the display means with each elevator process, z. B. every minute or half minute, takes place evenly and an adjustment of the same by fractions of a display unit when the battery voltage drops or other conditions, changes that cause a drop in power are excluded.

The invention is explained in detail in the accompanying drawings. 1 shows a front view of the clockwork according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the clockwork according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a detailed view of the tension spring accumulator with the elevator control of the clockwork, FIG. 4a shows a side view of the arrangement 3, along the line AB thereof, FIG. 4b shows a side view of the arrangement according to FIG. 3, along the line CD thereof,

Fig. 8 is an illustration of the rotary motion transmission device shortly after the further switching of the driven gear surrounded.

The clockwork is built on a common base plate 1. An electric motor 3 fastened by the angle 2 on the base plate 1 is connected with its output worm 4 to a worm wheel 5 mounted on the shaft 6, which is in engagement via its drive 101 with an intermediate gear 102 attached to the shaft 8, which still meshes with the spring wheel 9. The shafts 6 and 8 are supported on the one hand in the base plate 1 and on the other hand in a bearing plate 10 which is supported by pillars 11 placed on the base plate 1.

The drive 101 and the driven by this inter mediate wheel 102, which is arranged on the shaft 8, now together form the step switching device characterizing the invention. This is explained in detail in connection with the following general structure and functional description of the clockwork on which the invention is based.

The winding wheel 9 is connected to the spring wheel 12 arranged on the spring shaft 14 by the tension spring 13 formed as a helical spring. The spring wheel 12 is in engagement with the drive 15 of an intermediate wheel 16, which in turn meshes with the gear wheel drive.

These last gear parts are stored in a special plate 17 and the base plate 1, between which the balance 18 is also inserted.

Arranged on the base plate 1 is a spring set bracket 19 with the spring set 20, which scans the spring switching wheel 22 and the elevator switching wheel 21 with its contact springs 23 and 24. The shaft 8 of the intermediate gear 102 is extended on the back of the base plate 1 and carries the drive pinion 25 with which the assembly of the clock works with the downstream gear members of the display unit (pointer mechanism, digital display) is brought into engagement ge.

3 and 4, the contact arrangement for the elevator control together with the spring force storage device is shown separately.

The elevator wheel 9 is mounted together with the elevator indexing wheel 21 on a bushing 26 which is riveted into the plate 10 and surrounds the spring shaft 14 so that it can be freely rotated in the bushing 26. Elevator wheel 9 and elevator switching wheel 21 together form a structural unit. This is freely rotatably mounted on the socket 26 and secured by the hedging ring 35.

On the spring shaft 14, the spring wheel 12 is fixedly arranged and next to this the spring switching wheel 22 is rotatably mounted and connected to the parts 9, 21 by a coupling pin 27 which is arranged on these and forms a unit with them.

A web part 29 is fixedly arranged on the spring shaft 14 by means of a bushing 33, one lateral bend of which protrudes into a slot 31 of the spring indexing wheel 22 and the tension spring 13 is hung on one side of the other bend 32. The tension spring 13 is designed as a coil spring which is claimed in its longitudinal direction and which is attached to an extension 34 of the elevator ratchet wheel 21, which forms a unit with the elevator wheel 9, at the other end.

The contact spring set 20 consists of two contact springs 23 and 24 attached to the spring bracket 19, separated from one another by an insulating piece 36 and held by an insulating sleeve 37 and a tubular rivet 38. These consist of the same stamped and bent part, they are single Lich equipped with contact rivets 39 and 40 on opposite sides and offset from one another on the spring set bracket 19. The contact springs 23 and 24 have a bend 41 and 42, which are bent at their front En to the actuating feet 43 and 44, the tabs 45 and 46 have.

Cutouts 47 serve to favor the spring properties, and the connection to the wiring of the elevator system is made via molded solder lugs 48 and 49.

The elevator ratchet wheel 21 and the spring ratchet wheel 22 have cams 50 and 51 on their peripheries, which are scanned by the contact springs 23 and 24. The cams 50 of the elevator indexing wheel 21 are designed as humps having a relatively steep rise 52, which have a narrow surface 53 at their tip, which then drops steeply to the bottom of the relatively long gap 54.

The cams 51 of the spring switching wheel 22, on the other hand, initially have an elevation 55, which is followed by a deeper, relatively elongated cam piece 56 which slopes down into the gap 57.

The mode of operation of the arrangement according to FIGS. 1-4b is as follows: The last elevator process has just taken place. In this operating phase, the bend 44, 42 of the con tact spring 24 lie in the gap 54 of the elevator ratchet wheel 21 and the tab 45 of the contact spring 23 on the cam step 56 of the spring ratchet wheel 22.

By the force of the tension spring 13, the spring wheel 12 and the gear folder is acted upon via the downstream gear members. The spring switching wheel 22 is initially braked by the contact spring 23 resting thereon, so that the spring shaft 14 is adjusted relative to it. If the segment 29 has covered a certain angular path, its bend 30 within the slot 31 comes into contact with the spring switching wheel 22 and drives it counter to the braking effect of the contact spring 23.

After some time, the tab 45 falls from the step 56 into the gap 57 and thereby the circuit for the elevator system is closed via the contact rivets 39 and 40 of the two contact springs 23 and 24.

The electric motor 3 starts up and transmits the drive movement via its worm 4 to the worm wheel 5 and the downstream gear members forming the rotary movement transmission device according to the invention, namely drive 101 and intermediate gear 102, via an always constant angle of movement determined by this indexing mechanism on the winding wheel 9 and then via the shaft 8 on the display means downstream of the clockwork. The elevator gear 21 is also moved with the elevator wheel 9 and the tension spring 13 is re-tensioned via the extension 34 connected to it.

Finally, the coupling pin 27, which is also connected to the elevator ratchet wheel 21, strikes the end of the slot 28 and moves the spring ratchet wheel 22 together with the elevator ratchet wheel 21. Then the bending edge formed by the parts 42 and 44 of the contact spring 24 and the now in the area of this edge running next cam 50 of the elevator ratchet 21 lifted the contact spring 24 and actuated the contact spring 23 via the contact rivets 39 and 40. At this moment, the elevation 55 undermines the bend 43 of the contact spring 23 and, if necessary, lifts it slightly through the incline 58.

Shortly thereafter, the requirement 42 of the contact spring 24 drops from the previously acted upon cam 50 and reaches the next gap 54. Both contact springs 23 and 24 are moved apart, since the contact spring 23 with the tab 45 still rests on the cam step 56, and thus the contact between the rivets 39 and 40 is momentarily interrupted, the electric motor 3 is de-energized and the elevator process is ended.

The rotary movement transmission device, which is assigned to the clockwork according to the invention and consists of parts 101, 102, now ensures that, regardless of the run-out movement of the driving electric motor 3, the display means are always advanced and the tension spring tensioned by a constant amount and phase Amount per elevator operation.

Differences in the run-out of the electric motor, caused by voltage fluctuations and changes in the bearing and collector friction, only affect the angular adjustment of the cylinder segment 104 rotating with the drive 101, while the movement transmitted to the display means and the tension spring 13 is one does not exceed or fall below a certain fixed value. Only the speed at which the constant movement is transmitted is still subject to certain changes, but this has only a minor influence. The adjustment of the display means is always carried out by units with full phases, so that intermediate positions of the same are avoided.

It can be seen from FIG. 5 that the rotary movement transmission device is composed of the driving drive 101 and the driven intermediate gear 102. The driving drive 101 consists of the tooth segment 103 and the cylinder segment 104, while the driven intermediate gear 102 is formed by a gear with deep teeth (1), middle teeth (II) and short teeth (III).

The toothed segment 103 and the cylinder segment 104 of the drive 101 are arranged in two different planes. In the representations of FIGS. 5-8, the toothed segment 103 is provided as attached behind the cylinder segment 104 is. The switching teeth 107 of the tooth segment 103, which are of medium length (I1), mesh during the switching movement with the deep (I), middle (11) and short (111) teeth of the intermediate gear 102. The designations deep, medium and short relate here to the dimensions of the teeth of the two gear parts in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.

The middle teeth (1I) of the intermediate gear 102 move in the same plane as the teeth 107 (11) of the tooth segment 103, while the deep teeth (I) of the intermediate gear 102 also move in the plane of the Cylinder segments 104 reach, terminate with this or even project beyond it. The flanks 108 'of these deep (1) teeth 108 are tangent to the periphery of the cylinder segment 104 at points A. Between the deep (I) teeth 108 of the inter mediate wheel 102, two dashed teeth 109 and 110 are arranged, which are covered by the cylinder segment 104 ver. Tooth 109 is of medium length (1I) while tooth 110 is short (11I).

According to the number of n-teeth (110) of the intermediate gear 102 lying on and / or in front of the meshing center line EM in the meshing area of the teeth 107 of the toothed segment 103, the shifting teeth 107 of the toothed segment 103 are those of average Length (I1), the same number (n) of teeth 111 of short length (11I) are in front, which are offset from the plane of the tooth or teeth 110, so that the teeth 110 and 111 pass one another without flank contact over one another or one below the other can.

This position of the two gear parts 101 and 102 with respect to one another is shown in FIG. 6.

As the drive 101 continues to move, the first switching tooth 107 of the tooth segment 103 and the tooth 111 in front of it finally come into contact with the flanks of the tooth 109 (tooth 111) and the tooth 110 (tooth 107) - both at about the same time. Only now does the actual engagement and the transfer of the indexing movement to the intermediate gear 102 begin. As a result of the assignment of the tooth 111 and its height offset with respect to the tooth 110, the teeth 109 and 111 mesh at the beginning of the transfer of movement only after the engagement center line EM, which promotes the initial rolling conditions.

This starting step-up position of the two transmission parts 101 and 102 is shown in FIG.

The vertically offset, short (11I) teeth 111 located in front of the teeth 110 lying in front of the tooth segment 103, corresponding to the number of the engagement center line EM and / or between the engagement center line EM and the left peripheral tooth 108 in the handle area that is, not the switching ratio between drive 101 and intermediate gear 102, but these only serve to improve the initial friction conditions at the beginning of the incremental switching of the driven intermediate gear 102.

Since the degree of overlap is greater than 1, each tooth of the driven idler gear 102 is advanced by the teeth 107 of the tooth segment 103 by an angular amount corresponding to more than one pitch.

The end flanks 112, 113 of the cylinder segment 104 are incorporated into the inner flanks of the tooth profiles of the first and last shift tooth 107 of the tooth segment 103 and are also continued as involutes to the periphery of the cylinder segment 104.

The starting flank 113 of the cylinder segment 104, which finally runs out of its toothing during the advancing movement of the intermediate gear 102, which is partially the same as the inner flank of the last switching tooth 107, leads to the depth tangent to the cylinder segment 104 on the right at point A during the next rest position of the gear part 102 ( I) Tooth 108 along the line of action E1-E2 and beyond it even further until it assumes the right position tangential to point A peripherally. This outlet position is shown in FIG. 8 of the drawings.

This advancing movement, however, corresponds to a further rotation of the intermediate gear 102 by 5 teeth, whereas the toothed segment 103 has only 4 switching teeth 107. Since the intermediate gear 102 of the exemplary embodiment has 20 teeth, 5 teeth are adjusted with each full revolution of the driving drive 101, an effective ratio of 1: 4 is therefore present.

The wheel body of the intermediate gear 102 has a substantial union of the deep teeth (1) corresponding strength. Only in the area between the peripherally tangent teeth 108 is a gap receiving the cylinder segment 104, which reduces the thickness of the wheel body to the thickness of the middle (II) teeth. The thickness of the short (111) teeth is slightly less than half the thickness of the middle teeth (1I).

The illustrated embodiment of the rotary movement transmission device represents an application example of a preferred embodiment of the invention. The tooth segment 103 has 4 switching teeth 107 and a short (III) front tooth 111. The intermediate gear 102 is assigned 20 teeth, which are in 4 groups One deep (I) tooth 108, one middle (II) tooth 109, one short (III) tooth 110 and two further deep (I) teeth are arranged along the circumference.

Through the described embodiment of the invention, a change in the rest position of the movable cylinder segment 104 with the drive 101 relative to the inter mediate wheel 102 is possible within a considerable range without any engagement between the drive 101 and the intermediate gear 102 that remains in the rest position. The drive 101 can therefore change its rest position, relative to the intermediate gear 102, under external influences within a wide range, without a change in the central winding state of the tension spring 13 and without an adjustment of the phase position of the display means.

This relative change in the rest position of the drive 101 is - as explained earlier - caused by changes in the run-out speed of the electric motor, which may be caused by decreasing battery voltage, aging bearings, collector wear, etc.

Due to the special configuration of the rotary motion transmission device according to the invention, it is possible to bring the intermediate gear 102 directly into engagement with the downstream elevator gear 9. The assignment of an additional gear wheel on the shaft of the intermediate gear 102 for forwarding the rotary movement is thus possible, but not necessary.

The arrangement according to the invention, the safe functioning of the clockwork is promoted, since a change in the position of the parts responsible for the elevator control, due to external influences (bearing friction, battery voltage, etc.), can no longer occur. As a result, the requirements for the tolerances and the Justie tion of the parts required to operate the contact control can be significantly reduced.

The assignment of the rotary movement transmission device according to the invention requires a somewhat higher power consumption of the clock further developed according to the invention, since the drive 101 corresponds to a larger angular path than the actual effective transmission range when the elevator is actuated or the Must cover display means.

This additional movement area of the drive 101 and thus of the drive motor 3, during which no more movement is transmitted to the mainspring or the display means, is practically measured in idle mode, so that the assignment of the rotary movement transmission arrangement according to the invention only a relatively small increase in electricity consumption can be recorded.
