Description
Method for treating smoke channels According to the present invention, a method for treating smoke channels is characterized in that a binder layer, a mortar layer as an insulating and lining layer and an impregnation layer are applied to the inner surfaces of the smoke channel masonry.
If it is an older chimney in which shiny soot has settled, it can be provided that the loose soot and dust layers are first removed with the help of brushes and similar devices, while the shiny soot layer is left in place., And d The other layers, i.e. the binder, mortar and impregnation layers, are applied to this glossy soot layer.
While it is otherwise planned to first remove the glass-hard, glossy soot layer including the lining mortar layer on which it has stuck, mechanically or chemically, or to burn out the chimney, the glossy soot layer can now be covered with a composite top layer, which is faster and easier is cheaper to implement.
Bitumen compounds (tar) are advantageously used both as a binder layer and as an impregnation layer.
All layers of tar or mortar can be pressed in with the help of so-called bell or brush devices. The work process is as follows: The mortar or tar pouring is poured onto the bell or brush device from above = while the device is being pulled up.
A completely smooth surface of the pressed-in layers can be achieved with bell devices. With brush devices, the layer surface becomes the same as abrasion (mortar abrasion). Brush devices also have the advantage that, so to speak, all bends and kinks in the smoke channel can be overcome.
