Description

Spring-acting shock protection device on locking gates of lock systems The invention relates to a spring-acting shock protection device on locking gates of lock systems.

To avoid damage to the stem gates in lock systems by ramming ships fen, shock protection beams are generally used perpendicular to the lock longitudinal axis, which usually absorb and destroy the kinetic energy of the ship in springs. The bar is stored on the platform at the bottom of the lock when the stowage height of the gates is so great that ships can pass underneath. At the head, the passage is exposed by lowering the bar on the bottom of the lock. The passage for the ships can also be cleared by lifting the bar.

The subject of the invention is a spring-loaded shock protection device on Stemm gates in lock systems, which brakes incoming ships in front of the gates even if the control is incorrect so that damage to the construction of one or the other gate leaf is safely avoided. In the device according to the invention, the bar mounted on the miter gate acts on at least two separate spring assemblies and means are provided which distribute the impact force evenly over the spring assemblies.

As a means of evenly distributing the impact force on the spring packets, horizontal rollers running between rails can be provided, through which the beam is inevitably guided in the longitudinal direction of the lock, or for the same purpose, swivel rollers can be used to transmit the beam movement the spring assemblies must necessarily be connected to one another by a shaft. Because all the spring assemblies are pulled evenly towards the destruction of energy, they can be made smaller. In addition, the shock of the ship is more gently absorbed.

In the accompanying drawings, two exemplary embodiments of the shock protection device according to the invention are shown schematically, namely: Fig. 1 shows the plan view of a miter gate with a shock protection device according to the invention, Fig. 2 shows the section along the line 11-II in Fig. 1,

3 shows a mortise gate with a differently designed shock protection device in section along line III-III in FIG. 4, and FIG. 4 shows a section along line IV-IV in FIG. 3.

According to the drawing, 1 is one of the two mortise gates of a lock in which the shock protection bar is attached to a slide 2a which is supported on the mortise gate 1 and is mounted transversely to the mortise gate, ie in the locks longitudinally displaceable.

At both ends of the carriage 2a bolts 4 are provided on which traction means 3 (chains, ropes or the like) attack, which are connected to Federpake 5, which are composed of rubber hollow springs or can consist of other types of springs.

The traction means 3 are guided over rollers 6 mounted in a bracket 2b, through which the traction means 3 are deflected by 900 so that the spring packs 5 can be accommodated in a vertical arrangement in the cavity of the mortise door 1. So that when a ship hits the shock beam 2, both spring assemblies 5 are evenly tensioned and loaded GE, according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the slide 2a carrying the shock protection beam is inevitably guided in the longitudinal direction of the lock.

This guide takes place at two or more points along the length of the carriage 2a each by a pair of horizontal rollers 8, the bil Denden between vertical, part of the carriage construction and running in the longitudinal direction of the lock he stretching rails 7. Of the rollers 8 on each caulking gate one in front of and one behind the order steering roller 6 is mounted on the caulking gate body in order to get the largest possible distance. A torque that occurs when the shock beam 2 is displaced as a result of the eccentrically acting spring forces is recorded by the rollers 8.

Of course, the rails 7 can also be attached to the miter gate 1 and the rollers 8 on the carriage 2a.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, another means is used in order to evenly tension and load all spring packages 5 when a ship hits the beam 2. This means here consists of a shaft 9 which connects the two deflection rollers 6 for the traction means 3 with one another, so that they have to rotate synchronously. This requires that not ropes but only chains are used here as traction means, and that the pulleys 6 are not designed as smooth rollers, but rather as chain pinions.

Instead of the two spring assemblies 5 provided, more than two spring assemblies 5 can also be arranged in the case of very long shock protection beams 2.
