Fig. 1 zeigt den erfindungsgemässen Warmluftofen in axialem Längsschnitt.

Warm air oven The invention relates to a warm air oven which comprises a centrally arranged combustion chamber and a jacket surrounding it, with an annular channel being formed between the combustion chamber and the jacket through which the air to be heated by means of a in the flow direction of the air in front of the combustion chamber attached fan is pushed through.
In previously known hot air ovens of this type, there is the disadvantage that the bottom of the combustion chamber burns through due to insufficient cooling, and the purpose of the invention is to eliminate this disadvantage in a simple manner.
This purpose is achieved according to the invention with the aid of a disk attached below and at a distance from the floor of the combustion chamber and at least approximately parallel to this floor, with part of the air flow generated by the fan being passed between this disk and the combustion chamber floor for the purpose of cooling it.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a collecting plate is attached to the combustion chamber floor, which catches part of the air flow and directs this part into the space between the floor and the disc. In this case, the collecting plate is expediently provided with guide vanes which convert the rotating movement of the part of the air flowing under the combustion chamber floor, caused by the fan, into a straight movement.
The invention is described in more detail below with reference to an embodiment illustrated in the drawing.
1 shows the hot air oven according to the invention in an axial longitudinal section. FIG. 2 shows the lower part of the hot air oven in the same way and on a larger scale, while FIGS. 3 and 4 are sections along the line III-III in FIG. 2 and IV-IV in FIG.
In the drawing, 1 denotes an outer, suitably cylindrical jacket which is carried by a housing-like stand 2. A combustion chamber 3, which is fed from an oil burner 4, is arranged in the center of the jacket 1. From the upper part of the combustion chamber 3, a number of pipes 5 serving as heat exchangers extend the combustion gases into a duct 6 located on the upper part of the shell and closing it off, and further into a chimney pipe 7.
The jacket 1 and the combustion chamber 3 are dimensioned so that an annular channel is formed between them for the air that is to be warmed up and by means of a ventilator wheel 9 in the form of a semi-axial wheel arranged immediately below the combustion chamber at the lower open end of the Jacket 1 is sucked in and passed through the channel 8 in order to then be blown out through one or more openings 10 on the upper jacket part. The motor intended for driving the fan wheel 9 is denoted by 11.
According to the invention, a disk 12 is attached below and at a distance from the floor 13 of the combustion chamber 3. This runs parallel to the floor 13 and is attached to it with the aid of two parallel rails 14. In this way, an intermediate space in the form of a throughflow channel 15 is formed between the base 13 and the disk 12. On the underside of the base 13, a collecting plate 16, which partially protrudes into the channel 8 on one side, is attached, which collects part of the air flow coming from the fan wheel 9.

catches and leads into and through the channel 15 for the purpose of cooling the combustion chamber floor 13.
In order to cancel the rotating movement of the air flow caused by the fan, guide vanes 17, which extend between the collecting plate 16 and the disk 12, are attached to the collecting plate 16, as can best be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4.
The invention is of course not limited to the embodiment described and shown, but can be varied in several ways within the scope of the invention.
