Description

Device on tipper vehicles for pivoting the loading bridge out and back The invention relates to a device on tipper vehicles for pivoting the loading bridge out and back, in which the loading bridge is pivoted in the last section of the pivoting out against a resilient restoring force that acts Retrieval of the loading bridge at least until the self-weight of the loading bridge takes effect for this movement.

In the case of tipper vehicles whose loading bridges can be swiveled out up to around 450, there is generally no need to provide a special restoring force for bringing back the swung-out loading bridge, because here a sufficient - in the sense of retrieval is necessary. Torque is generated by the dead weight of the dock leveler.

Difficulties arise, however, with newer tipper designs, because with the currently preferred swiveling angle of up to 60 and more degrees of inclination to the vertical, the center of gravity of the loading bridge usually already reaches above its swivel axis and thus through the dead weight no longer generates sufficient return torque.

To avoid the above-mentioned deficiency, it has already been proposed to arrange at least one, approximately horizontally outwardly directed buffer on the side edge of the tipper vehicle where the loading bridge is swung out, which during the last area of the out, pivoting movement of the loading bridge through parts the same is displaced resiliently against a restoring force towards the vertical longitudinal center plane of the vehicle. For the restoring force of the buffer, one or more strong helical springs surrounding the buffer rod are provided, which are mounted within their own housing.

In the case of larger dimensions of the loading bridge, at least two such buffers are usual in order to ensure sufficient restoring force.

If this is a tipper vehicle whose loading bridge can be tilted to both sides of the vehicle, four such buffers with a strong coil spring and a spring housing are required. To. In addition to this, there is also the need for regular lubrication and maintenance of the springs stored in the spring housings.

The aim of the invention is to remedy the aforementioned defects and to simplify and improve the resources required to generate the restoring force and their arrangement so that, for example, B. only a few parts are required that take up little space and can also be as maintenance-free as possible.

According to the invention, a torsion bar is used to generate the restoring force. Such a torsion bar can be made so stiff without any significant space requirement that it can easily generate the required restoring force even with large loading bridges.

A single torsion bar can suffice, which is particularly suitable for solving the task at hand here because the angle range in which the restoring force is required is only relatively small and can therefore directly correspond to the permissible angle of rotation of the torsion bar.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the torsion bar at the other end of the shaft protrudes from the shaft via a square shoulder in a corresponding recess of the actuating shaft of the lifting device for pivoting the dock leveler and acts by means of a lever arm there that extends transversely to the torsion bar men a fixed stop of the vehicle frame of the tipper vehicle together.

The position of the stop and the position of the lever arm cooperating with it can easily be coordinated with one another in such a way that the lever arm is freely rotatable during the first part of the swing out of the loading bridge and only rests against the stop in the last swing out area of the loading bridge,

so that the last swiveling that takes place in this area - with the twisting of the torsion bar that now begins causes - against the resilient restoring force that comes into effect becomes.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is illustrated ; It shows: FIG. 1 the device on a tipper vehicle for pivoting the loading bridge out and back, in a schematic side view ; FIG. 2 the same device in a horizontal section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.

The loading bridge 1 belonging to a tipper vehicle can be swiveled out to the rear (on the right in FIG. 1) by means of a bearing pin 2 mounted on the vehicle frame (not particularly shown) and has two bearing points 4 arranged in a common horizontal transverse plane in front of this bearing point on its lower lateral longitudinal members 3 . At these bearing points, via corresponding bearing bolts 5 , which form a horizontally running axis, each is a pivotable one belonging to the lifting device for pivoting the loading bridge 1 Articulated support 6 , which protrudes approximately vertically downwards from loading bridge 1 .

Both supports 6 are articulated at their lower ends by means of bearing pins 7 each at the free end of a pivot lever 8 , with both pivot levers 8 < / B> are attached to an actuating shaft 9 of the lifting device. This actuating shaft 9 extends horizontally across the vehicle or the loading bridge and can be rotated at its two ends via a bearing 10 on each of the side members of the vehicle frame stored.

As can be seen in particular from FIG. 2, the actuating shaft 9 is designed to be hollow, in which the shaft has an axial bore 11 which extends over most of its length and which in the area one end of the shaft in a square recess, 12 merges.

In this square recess 12 sits a torsion bar 13 penetrating the entire length of the actuating shaft, with its one end 14 designed as a square of corresponding dimensions and the other end the actuating shaft 9 protrudes and there - is lifted off at right angles to form a lever arm 15 - . In the area of its end protruding from the actuating shaft 9 , the torsion bar 13 is mounted in the shaft by means of a self-lubricating bushing 16 , which also serves to seal the The interior of the hollow shaft serves to the outside.

In the middle area of the actuating shaft 9 , a further lever 17 is attached to the latter, at its free end a piston rod 19 via a bearing pin 18 Is articulated, which protrudes into a pressure cylinder 20 of the lifting device and carries an actuating piston 21 at its end there, which in the pressure cylinder 20 in the usual way by a pressure medium in the sense of an outward movement of the piston rod 19 </ B> is movable. At its end not penetrated by the piston rod 19, the pressure cylinder 20 itself is pivotably supported by means of a further bearing bolt 22 on the vehicle frame about an axis running parallel to the actuating shaft 9.

Finally, there is another stop 23 with that of the torsion bar 23 on the vehicle frame approximately below the shaft 9 and thus the torsion bar 13 B> 13 formed outer lever arm 15 only in the area of the last part of the pivoting movement of the loading bridge 1 (in a range of rotation of the actuating shaft of about 150) interacts as a stop, while the lever arm 15 can be freely rotated in the remaining rotational range of the actuating shaft 9 .

The described lifting device to swivel out, and the torsion bar arrangement to generate, cruna el the restoring force for the at least initial swiveling back of the dock leveler work as follows:

In the illustrated position of the loading bridge 1 in its normal position lowered onto the vehicle frame, the lever arm 15 <formed by the torsion bar 13 and firmly connected to it protrudes / B> approximately horizontally to the rear, and the piston 21 connected to the piston rod 19 is located in its rearmost position in the pressure cylinder 20.

If the piston rod 19 is now - to pivot the loading bridge 1 for tilting - by means of a piston 21 on its piston effective pressure medium is moved out of the pressure cylinder 20 in the direction of the arrow 24, the actuating shaft rotates (according to FIG. 1) in a clockwise direction, with the swivel lever at the same time > 8 - also swiveled clockwise - upwards and the supports 6 linked to these are moved upwards.

This upward movement of the supports 6 causes the loading bridge 1 to pivot backwards around its bearing pin 2.

After about half a turn of the actuating shaft 9 , the lever arm 15 of the torsion bar 13 comes to rest on the stop 23, </ B> whereby the torsion bar 13 is elastically twisted during the remaining outward movement of the piston rod 19 from the pressure cylinder 20 and thereby generates a restoring force that increases with increasing further off # swiveling the dock leveler (up to a maximum tilt angle of about 65 ")

increases and the last section of the loading bridge swing-out comes into effect. This restoring force ensures the automatic rapid return of the loading bridge 1 after the pressure medium actuating the piston 21 has been released until the loading bridge's own weight becomes effective for this movement, even when the center of gravity of the pivoted loading bridge is above the bearing pin 2 or beyond and thus no weight component of the dock leveler should be available for self-term retrieval.

The device described is characterized by a particularly simple and yet safe we kende training of the restoring force for the initial pivoting back means delivering. Apart from the fact that the torsion bar 13 used can be made so stiff with only a small footprint that.

a single torsion bar can provide the necessary restoring force even with large dock levellers, the arrangement described is also practically maintenance-free, since the torsion bar 13 is in the hollow actuating shaft 9 over most of its length is protected by the self-lubricating bush 16 and the bush 16 does not require any special maintenance.

It is Z. B. not necessary that the loading bridge is only pivoted to the rear on the vehicle frame. An only slightly modified lifting device, in which the actuating shaft with the torsion bar is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the pressure cylinder is arranged transversely to this direction, allows the loading bridge to tilt sideways without any problems. Instead of the lever system shown, the Hebevorrich could device with another, z. B. a scissors systein be formed.
