Fig. 2) angeschlossen.
Fig. 1) des Transformators 5 ge speist.
Compensation amplifier with control galvanometer The invention relates to a Kompensationsver stronger with control galvanometer, which is preferably used as a receiving device for remote measurement with the help of remote counting pulses.
With remote counting, a measuring device, e.g. An electricity meter, pulses are sent, each of which corresponds to a certain fixed amount, e.g. B. give ge by one revolution of the counter rotor, corresponds. These impulses activate a counter that is driven step-by-step in the receiver. If you want to carry out a remote measurement with the help of remote counting pulses, a device must be connected to the pulse line that does not display the number of pulses, but measures their frequency.
For this purpose, electromechanical devices have been developed which count the number of pulses received during the same measurement periods and at the end of a measurement period bring a drag pointer into a position corresponding to the number of pulses in question. These devices serve their purpose relatively well, but are mechanically complicated and subject to wear and tear.
A well-known purely electrical device be used by one actuated by the remote counting pulses th capacitor charging device. The pulsed direct current supplied by this is smoothed in a chain of smoothing elements, amplified by means of a self-compensating amplifier and fed to a galvanometer. This device has the disadvantage that a variable counter-voltage arises at the smoothing elements, which results in non-linearity.
which can only be partially compensated with the help of a voltage-dependent resistor. The use of self-compensating amplifiers in which the compensation circuit has artificially increased attenuation is also already known for displaying the mean value of suddenly fluctuating measured variables. This is achieved in that the compensation circuit is supplied with a current which is proportional to the first time derivative of the output current of the amplifier.
The smoothing effect caused by the damping is, however, associated with a disproportionately long time delay, so that such a compensation amplifier only responds very slowly to changes in the measured variable and is therefore not particularly suitable for remote measurement with the aid of remote counting pulses.
The present invention relates to a compensation amplifier with a control galvanometer, in which the aforementioned disadvantage is circumvented in that the coil of the control galvanometer receives at least one additional current generated by a differentiating circuit, which is a time derivative of a higher order of the course of the output current of the Compensation amplifier is.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
1 shows the circuit diagram of a device according to the invention and FIGS. 2 and 3 show a control galvanometer with photo-electrical scanning.
In Fig. 1, the primary winding 4 of a transformer 5 is connected to the mains terminals 1, 2 via a capacitor 3, the secondary winding 6 of which feeds lines 9, 10 via a protective resistor 7 and a rectifier B. A capacitor 11 is used to smooth the current . The transformer 5 works with a saturated core, whereby a certain voltage stabilization is achieved with the help of the capacitor 3.
A Glimmstabili sierungsröhre 12 is used to keep the voltage of a storage capacitor 13 constant, which is connected via a resistor 14 to the external contacts 15, 16 of a pulse receiving relay 17 which is connected via input terminals 18, 19 to a pulse line. An external contact 20 of the relay 17 is connected to the line 9 and another external contact 21 is connected via a resistor 22 to the coil 23 of a directional force-free Steuergal vanometer 24 (see FIG. 2).
Between the two with the external contacts 15, 20 and 16, 21 cooperating switching contacts 25 and 26, a capacitor 27 is turned on. The coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 carries a flag 29 provided with an opening 28, which cooperates with a fixed aperture 30 (see Fig. 3) and the light beam between a light source 31 and a photocell 32 depending on the swiveling of the coil 23 more or less. The light source 31 is fed by a secondary winding 33 (see Fig. 1) of the transformer 5 ge.
The anode 34 of the photocell 32 is connected to a voltage divider formed by resistors 35, 36, while its cathode 37 is connected to the grid 38 of a double tube 39 to which a grid resistor 40 is connected. The two cathodes of the double tube 39 are connected to the line 10 via a common cathode resistor 41.
The anode 42 of the double tube 39 is connected on the one hand via the series connection of a resistor 43, ebnes as a display device serving galvanometer 44 and a resistor 45 with the line 9 and on the other hand connected via a capacitor 46 to one end of the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24, the is also connected to line 9 at the other end. Between the lower end of the coil 23 and the galvanometer 44 with the resistor 45 connec denden line, a resistor 47 is turned on.
The second grid 48 of the double tube 39 is connected to a fixed voltage which is supplied by resistors 49, 50 acting as voltage dividers, and its second anode 51 is connected to the line 9 via a resistor 52 and to the grid 54 via a capacitor 53 Tube 55 connected. The anode 56 of the latter is connected to the line 9 via a resistor 57 and to the lower end of the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 via a resistor 58 and a capacitor 59. The tube 55 is provided with a cathode resistor 60 and a grid resistor 61.
The lower electrode of the glow stabilization tube 12 is connected to the line 10 via a resistor 62.
If the relay 17 is energized by a current pulse supplied via the terminals 18, 19, then whoever the switching contacts 25, 26 switched to the external contacts 15, 16 and the capacitor 27 is charged to the voltage held constant by the glow stabilization tube. When the current pulse ends, the changeover contacts 25, 26 are switched back to the external contacts 20 and 21, and the capacitor 27 discharges with a current i through the resistor 22 and the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24.
The current i causes the coil 23 to swivel out, whereby the photocell 32 and through it the double tube 39 are influenced in such a way that the anode current i., The anode 42 of the double tube 39, which forms the output current of the amplifier, increases. This also results in an increase in the partial current i 1 of the anode current i 1 flowing through the coil 23 and the resistor 47, which counteracts the discharge current i 1.
Due to the voltage drop at the anode 42 associated with the increase in the anode current i., A charging current i., Which corresponds to the value of the first time derivative of the course of the anode current i. is proportional and also counteracts the discharge current i, of the capacitor 27 in the coil 23. The current i.>, Has a damping of the pivoting movement of the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 result.
With an increase in the anode current i, however, the voltage at the two cathodes of the double tube 39 also increases at the same time, which leads to an increase in the negative bias voltage on the grid 48 and thus to a decrease in the anode current of the anode 51 of the double tube 39 leads.
A voltage is fed from the anode 5 1 to the grid 54 of the tube 55 via the capacitor 53 which corresponds to the first time derivative of the course of the anode current flowing through the anode 51 and, with the opposite sign, also the first time derivative of the course of the anode current i. is proportional. This voltage is amplified in the tube 55 and fed to the lower end of the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 via the resistor 58 and the capacitor 59.
The coil 23 is thus one of the first time derivative of the course of the amplified current, i. H. that is, the second time derivative of the course of the anode current i-, proportional current i_, which also counteracts the discharge current i, of the capacitor 27.
Due to the effect of the currents i., I_, added to the current i.,, The coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 swings out and thus the display of the galvanometer 44 changes only very slowly, i. H. the device described be seated in addition to a pronounced damping also a large artificial inertia. In this case, however, the time delay of the display is significantly smaller than if the smoothing of the input pulses in a known manner only duck damping, i.e. H. by adding one of the first time derivative of the course of the output current proportional current to the current i., 1, is achieved.
The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for the remote measurement of quantities which are transmitted by remote counting pulses, and that without the need for special smoothing elements. Since the influence of the counter voltage of such smoothing elements no longer occurs, the measurement is more accurate. The elimination of the smoothing elements themselves also results in a significant simplification and an economic advantage, since such smoothing elements are expensive because of the large capacitors required.
In principle, the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 can also be supplied with currents in the sense of the invention, the higher order time derivatives of the course of the output current i., Proportional and in the manner described using capacitors, with possible amplification and phase rotation, can be won. For the mentioned purpose, however, it is usually sufficient, as in the example described, to supply the coil 23 of the control galvanometer 24 with currents which, in addition to the first, are also proportional to the second time derivative of the course of the output current.
In the illustrated arrangement according to the invention, a capacitor recharging device with only one capacitor has been provided, instead of one with two capacitors, as is commonly used in telemetry devices. The discharge of the capacitor of the capacitor recharging device described with only one capacitor takes place during the pause between two pulses.
By appropriately choosing the discharge time constant, these pulses can be largely flattened, which promotes their evaluation because of the much lower ripple of the discharge current. The discharge time constant, which is determined by the capacitor 27 and the resistor 22, is preferably selected so large that at the end of the duration of the shortest pause between two input pulses, i. H. at the largest display value, the discharge current il of the capacitor 27 drops to a value lying between 0.5 and 2% of its initial value.
With a discharge time constant selected in this way, the smallest possible ripple of the discharge current of the capacitor recharging device is achieved with regard to the measurement accuracy.
