Description

Bench drill The subject of the invention is a bench drill, in which the boring machine is carried by a vertical right column and can be adjusted in height along this and in which the column on a protruding over the drill table, from a vertical and a horizontal part be standing support arm, the horizontal part of which carries the column at the front, and the vertical part of which sits on the rear end of the drilling table, is attached.

The invention is characterized in that the horizontal part of the support arm is adjustable forwards and backwards in relation to the vertical part of the support arm.

An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.

In Fig. 1 is a side view of the drilling machine is shown. With 11 of the drilling table be distinguished and with 12 a support arm which sits with its vertical part 12a on the rear end of the drilling table. The horizontal part 12b of this support arm carries at its front end a column 13, along which the boring mill can be adjusted in height. This itself is only indicated by a gear box 14, a motor 15 attached to the box 14, a chuck 16 and a lever 17 for lowering and lifting the chuck. The boring mill can be pivoted about the axis of the column 13 and fixed by means of the toggle 18.

The support arm is made in two parts, and its horizontal part can be adjusted forwards and backwards in relation to the vertical part in the manner of the support of a lathe.

In Fig. 2, which shows a side view of the support arm, the vertical part of this support arm is designated by 12a and its horizontal part, which consists of a box-like cast part open at the bottom, is designated by 12b. The one on the left. Parts located at the end of this horizontal part and denoted by 13, 26, 27a, 28 in FIG. 2 may be disregarded for the time being. With the vertical. Part 12a is a threaded piece 19 firmly connected, in wel chem a spindle 20 is freely rotatable. This screw benspindel 20 is adjustable by means of a hand crank 21 ver.

The mounting and arrangement of the horizontal right part 12b of the support arm on its vertical right part 12a is shown in FIG. 3, which shows the support arm including the parts 13, 26, 27a, </ I located at its front end > 28 from the front, more clearly recognizable. Fig. 3 first shows the vertical part 12a again and also shows rectangular projections 22 on the outside of the vertical dignity of the box 12b.

These approaches 22, also shown in FIG. 2, extend as rails over the entire length of the horizontal part 12b, so that this can be adjusted forwards and backwards by means of the screw spindle 20 relative to the vertical part of the support arm in the manner of a lathe support . The horizontal part 12b slides on a bedding worked into the vertical part 12a and indicated by arrows 23 in FIGS. 2 and 3. The rails 24 screwed onto the vertical part 12a also serve for guidance and also to absorb part of the counterpressure of the drilling.

These rails 24 are fastened to the lower part 12a by means of the screws 25.

A further improvement of the drilling machine, which makes it possible to pivot the drilling machine about the longitudinal axis of the horizontal part 12b of the support arm, will now also be explained with reference to FIGS.

In Figure 2 and 3, the column 13 is indicated with dotted lines. These figures also show a flange 26, to the front part of which the column 13 is attached. This flange 26 has two quarter-circular cutouts 27; its border is, as can be seen from Figure 3, given by two arcs and two horizontal lines. On the rear side of the flange a circular pin 27a is attached, which engages in a hole in the front end wall, d'es horizontal part 12b.

By means of this pin the whole boring machine can now be pivoted about the longitudinal axis of the horizontal part 12b by 45 to each side. The two screws 28 are used to lock the flange 26 in relation to the end face of the horizontal part 12b in any desired pivot position.

3 shows yet another screw 29 which serves to lock the flange 26 in relation to the front end face of the horizontal part 12b in the non-pivoted position of the boring machine, that is to say when the drill is in the vertical right position.

4, which shows a section through part of the boring mill and through the front part of the support arm, it should be explained how the boring mill can be adjusted in height by very small amounts with a hand crank. The support arm and the column are again designated by 12 and 13 as in FIG. The boring mill is shown in Fig. 4 as far as possible along the column 13 shifted downward. A threaded piece 30, in which a screw spindle 31 is adjustable, is fastened within the column 13. This itself carries a collar 32 on which the entire weight of the boring mill rests via the ball bearing 33.

The ball bearing itself is fastened with its upper bearing ring in the cover 34 screwed to the gear box 14. On the; Square 35, a hand crank or a handwheel for fine adjustment of the boring mill in its height direction can be placed.
