Description
Folding boat with air hoses Air hoses for folding boats are usually located in pockets on the boat skin. These pockets are formed by partitions that can be sewn to the deck skin, but must be glued to the boat skin. Gluing on does not meet the requirements, because the hose can tear open the glue point when inflated. Besides that, it is difficult and costly to manufacture by gluing and sewing. It is also known to arrange the pockets on the outside of the boat skin. In this case, too, glue must be used.
In other boats, the hose is housed without a cover between the frames and the boat skin and see ver at its upper end with straps that are attached to the inside of the deck skin. The hose is not housed in a protective bag here.
The invention relates to a folding boat with air hoses, which are attached between the boat skin and the boat frame by means of flexible holding means attached to the inside of the cover skin above the air hoses and consists in that the holding means consist of a shell, the two longitudinal edges of which together on the deck skin are attached.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in cross section. As can be seen from the drawing, separate covers 9 are provided for the hoses 1 and 2 between the boat skin 4 and the ribs 3 in the spaces 7, the two longitudinal edges 10 of which are jointly attached to the deck skin 5. This provides better protection for the hoses than with the previous bags, because the hoses are completely encased, that is, they have a double skin on all sides.
At the longitudinal edges 10 can be sewn in a known manner, because these are above water. The attachment is particularly strong here because the deck skin 5 is usually made of strong canvas. In terms of production, a simplification has occurred because there is only one longitudinal seam and this can be easily attached.
A bond does not need to take place. The cases 9 are of course with any chen z. B. provided with zippers closable slots through which the tubes 1 and 2 can be inserted on one side.
