Description
Method and device for introducing hardening liquids into soil layers The invention relates to a method and a device for introducing hardening liquids, eg. B. cement milk, cement paste, layers in the ground with the purpose of achieving a higher load-bearing capacity or a seal against water in these Schich th.
It is known e.g. B. cement milk or paste or chemical agents under pressure in soil layers th. It is also known to use a vibrating liq fluid jet for compaction of soil layers. It is also known to inject water into the ground for the purpose of relocating grain particles What and to increase the water pressure briefly by about 1 to 5 atmospheres.
Simply pressing in is insufficient for many purposes. The use of short-term low excess pressures, such as has become known for the displacement of grain particles, on the pressing in of hardening liquids cannot significantly facilitate the penetration of these liquids into the soil layer. A vibrating jet of liquid, as it is known for the purpose of compaction by shaking in the soil masses, has only a limited effect for the following reason. In order to generate vibrations in liquids using vibrators, the liquid has to be accelerated in fractions of a second, then decelerated again and accelerated again in a different direction, and so on.
When the acceleration is applied, a relatively high pressure is created in the liquid. When the liquid is slowed down, however, the external action can at most reach the value of the atmospheric pressure, which is completely insufficient to achieve effective deceleration. A vacuum is therefore created at this moment, which greatly affects the vibration. If there is counter pressure generated by an elastic conductor, the formation of a vacuum can be reduced or avoided.
When injecting solidifying liquids, however, a substantial elastic counter pressure is not to be expected.
The identified shortcomings of the known methods are avoided according to the invention in that the hardening liquids are rammed into the soil layers.
When the liquid is rammed in, a very high pressure suddenly arises, which lasts until the kinetic energy of the impact organ is used up. If the penetration resistance of the solidifying liquid is low, the pressure increase is lower, but of longer duration; if the resistance is high, it is higher, but of shorter duration.
Before the liquid is driven in, the driving device can be used to soak the soil layers with air and thereby facilitate their acceleration when the liquid is driven in.
In the case of soil layers with channel-like passages, in which there is a risk that the hardening liquid only uses these channels with little resistance and is far away from the zone to be treated, but does not fill the smaller cavities of the zone, it is advisable to first use thick fluid Solidifying material is pressed in, which blocks these channels. Subsequently, thin-bodied material is re-pressed for the smaller cavities.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention, which is particularly suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention, is shown schematically in the drawing. The ramming pipe a extends into the soil layer to be consolidated and is connected to a pumping device (not shown) via the chamber c and the pipe socket b, which preferably consists of a liquid container from which the liquid is pressed into the ramming pipe by compressed air.
A check valve f prevents the liquid from flowing back. A piston e extends into chamber c and is pressed outward by the liquid. With the structural unit described is a ram, z. B. a compressed air operated hammer d combined. The ram hits the piston e, which transmits the ram impulses of the liquid. Instead of the piston, a pipe socket closed at the top can also be used, which can be compressed by using a corrugated resilient jacket.
