Feeding device for an action turbine The present invention relates to a feed device for an action turbine comprising a rectilinear injector and a valve placed in series, the valve comprising a central body surrounded by an annular step of fluid.
In a known device of this type, the servo motor controlling the movements of the needle is placed in a central body of the injector further serving to guide the needle, the valve being independent of the injector. We are led, under these conditions, to a bulky construction. The central body of the injector must in fact have a large diameter in order to allow the control servomotor to be given a section sufficient to obtain the forces required to operate the needle.
In another known device, the control booster consists of a series of pistons integral with the needle control rod, and arranged one behind the other in the central body of the injector where the common pressure, transmitted from the outside, can act simultaneously and in the same direction on these pistons.
Thus the possibility of varying the number of pistons makes it possible to adjust the control force to the force required by the needle, while maintaining the diameter of the central body at a limited value. However, this arrangement leads to an elongation of the injector and consequently to a larger size of the installation.
With the aim of remedying these drawbacks, the device according to the present invention is characterized in that a servomotor controlling a needle of said injector is placed in said central body of the valve. The arrangement of the injector servomotor in the central body of the guard valve does not present any difficulties since the central body of an annular passage valve must have a large diameter, at least equal to the diameter of the valve. supply line.
Two embodiments of the object of the invention, given by way of example, are shown in the accompanying drawing in which FIG. 1 is a longitudinal section along the axis of the first embodiment of the device, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section along the axis of the second embodiment.
In the figures, a body 10 of the injector carries at one of its ends an end nozzle 11, and comprises a needle 12 and a rod 13 of the needle. A spider 14 of small size ensures the guidance of the rod 13.
In fig. 1, the outer body of the annular valve is in two parts 15 and 16 assembled by flanges.
Part 15 is fixed to a frame 17 partially shown of the turbine and carries the body 10 of the injector. A fixed central body 18 of the valve is carried by part 16 by means of ribs 19.
A tubular shutter 20 is housed in the fixed central body 18; one end 21 of this shutter and an annular space 22 are adapted to each other and constitute the piston and the cylinder of the shutter servomotor. The pipes for supplying and discharging the driving fluid to said servomotor are not shown.
A cylinder 23 of the servomotor of the injector, located to the right of part 15 of the outer body of the valve, is connected by fins 24 to the body 10 of the injector. It comprises a removable bottom 25 and a lateral extension 26 adjusted with a play inside the tubular obturator 20.
The rod 13 of the needle is connected to a piston 27 of the servomotor of the injector. The driving fluid supply and discharge pipes are not shown.
Fig. 2 shows a variant in which a shutter 30 and its servomotor 31, 32 are placed in an extension 35 of the outer body 36 of the valve.
A fixed central body 38 of the valve, on the outside of which the shutter 30 rests in the closed position, only contains a servomotor 33, 37 of the injector.
