Coupling device for coupling drives of cable cars with a pulling rope The subject of the present invention is a coupling device for coupling drives of cable cars with a pulling cable, preferably for cable cars with a continuously revolving endless pull rope and two carrying ropes for transporting people .
For such coupling, two clamping jaws are usually used, which are provided on the drive body, one of which is usually spring-loaded. One of the clamping jaws is also usually designed as a double arm lever, one arm of which is intended to engage in a coupling rail. Other coupling devices use as Kup pelelemente eccentric, controlled by a coupling lever pin, in some cases the weight of the cabin also acts.
As a rule, these arrangements are complicated and in many cases require a lateral supply of the rope between the clamping jaws, so that there is a risk that the rope will be torn out of the clamping jaws by the action of wind, or, if this, the rope is inserted from below the clamping force still has to cope with the weight of the rope. Where the car's own weight is involved, this weight has to be overcome when coupling, and this coupling force is also dependent on the variable gradient and variable load.
In the coupling device according to the invention with two clamping jaws provided on the drive body for engaging the rope from both strings, one of these clamping jaws being spring-loaded, one of these clamping jaws is arranged to be laterally displaceable or pivotable relative to the drive body and is controlled by a double-arm lever. whose one arm is intended to access a coupling rail, while the other arm engages in a curved guide formed on the body of this jaw, and when the rope is clamped, the point of application of the double-arm lever on the clamping jaw body is self-locking outside the connecting line of the axis of the clamped rope and the axis of rotation of the double arm lever.
Two embodiments of the coupling device according to the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings in FIGS. 1 and 2 in partial .Schnitt represents.
According to FIG. 1, a cable car running gear is coupled to the continuously revolving endless pull rope. The clamped pull cable 1 is supported against the carriage body 2, to which the clamping jaw 2 ', which has a cladding 3, is firmly connected. From the opposite side, the other box-shaped clamping jaw 4, which is laterally displaceable in the body 2 and which has guide rails 5 on both sides and whose engagement surface carries a likewise wedge-shaped cladding 6, is supported against the rope 1. Inner half of this box-shaped movable clamping jaw 4 is a gebil Dete from the jaw body curved surface 7 with a recess B.
In the side walls of this clamping jaw 4, depending on the function, curved grooves 9 are provided with the curved surface 7, in which rollers 10 engage, which are rotatably mounted on both ends of a pin 11, which pin 11 at the same time forms the axis of the pressure roller 12 in its central part, which is supported against the curved surface 7. The pin 11 with the rollers 10 and 12 is mounted in the shorter, fork-shaped arm of a double-arm lever 13 which controls the clamping jaw 4 and whose second, longer arm carries a switching roller 14 at the end.
The double arm lever 13 is rotatably mounted on a pin 15 which is fastened in a yoke 16 which is displaceable with respect to the body 2. In this yoke, the ends of guide pins 17 are attached, on which compression springs 21 are pushed. These spring-loaded guide pins 17 are each freely displaceable in guide sleeves 18, 19, one of these guide sleeves 19, on which a support plate 20 rests, on the body 2 being adjustable. Against this support plate 20 is supported by one end of the spring 21 pushed onto the guide pin 17, the two end of which presses the support plate 22 against the collar 23 at the other end of the guide pin 17.
In position I of the double arm lever 13, where the pressure roller 12 is located in the recess 8, the point of application of the double arm lever on the clamping jaw body 4 is outside the line connecting the axis of the clamped cable 1 and the axis of rotation 15 of the double arm lever 13.
If the coupling device is in the rest position according to position I, in which the clamping jaws are in the closed position, and the cable is not clamped, the yoke 16 is supported against a stop 24 on the carriage body 4. The double arm lever 13 is in position II when the clamping jaws are open The tight clamping of the rope 1 is accomplished by moving the double arm lever 13 from position II to position I via dead point III.
At the point where the drive is to be coupled to the rope 1, the pulley 14 engages between rule, arranged in the area of this point, dome rails 25 a, the z. B. consist of angle iron. The double arm lever 13 is brought from position I to position II, the rollers 10, which move downward in the grooves 9, removing the box-shaped clamping jaw 4 along the guide rails 5 from the fixed clamping jaw 2 '. The resistance of the springs 21 is overcome at the beginning, but as soon as the yoke 16 is again supported against the stop 24, the further movement of the jaw 4 takes place only against the sliding resistance and essentially no work is required for this purpose.
The clamping jaws that have come apart are ready for insertion and clamping of the rope 1. By further movement of the running works on its path and thereby also the pulley 14 in the guide rails, they adjust the double arm lever 13 with the pulley from position II via dead point III to position I. During this adjustment, the shorter arm of the double arm lever moves 13 upwards and the pressure roller 12 rolls on the surface 7 and moves the clamping jaw 4 against the pull rope 1 and begins to clamp it by continuously removing the movable clamping jaw 4 from the yoke 16.
The jaw 4 sits on the rope 1, presses it against the fixed jaw 2 ', causes the deformation of the rope and exerts a pressure on the rope, which is limited by the spring force 21 be. A small distance always remains between the yoke 16 and the stop 24. Towards the end of the coupling process, the double arm lever 13 passes the dead position 111 and comes to position I, in which it remains self-locking, as the pressure roller 12 falls into the recess 8 of the curved surface 7. The distance between the clamping jaw 4 and the yoke 16 is again reduced somewhat, but this has no significant influence on the magnitude of the clamping force. Since the clamping of the pull rope is finished.
The loosening of the connection of the drive with the pull rope is again accomplished in such a way that the switching roller 14 engages between uncoupling rails at the relevant point of the conveying path, and the double arm lever 13 is moved from position I via dead point III to position II, whereby the movable jaw 4 is removed from the fixed jaw 2. During this movement, the pressure roller 12 overcomes a resistance on a certain part of its path, which is given on the one hand by the transition over the edge of the recess 8 of the curved surface 7, and on the other hand by the pressure caused by the spring force 21, which is caused by the support plate 22 and Collars 23 of the guide pins 17 is transferred to the yoke 16, provided that this yoke is not supported against the stop 24.
The rest of the movement of the jaw 4 away from the rope 1 is determined by the rollers 10 mounted on the double arm lever 13, which move in the curved grooves 9.
The reaction of the pull rope 1 is caught in the union wesent by the jaw 2 'and the drive body 2, so by elements that are fixed parts of the drive. The weight of the rope and the lateral forces, which are caused by the action of the wind, cannot lead to the rope being torn out of the clamping jaws.
An alternative to the device according to FIG. 1 is shown in FIG. Compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the clamping jaw 2 'is designed as a shorter arm of a double arm lever 18, the longer arm of which has a spherical saddle surface 19 in which the spherical head 20 of a guide pin 21 with the support plate 22 and spring 23 pushed on.
At the second end, the spring 23 is also supported against a: support plate 26 which is arranged with a guide sleeve on the bolt 21 and which rests against a spherical support 27 which is supported against a spherical Sat telfläche a plate 28. The upper end of the guide pin is set down to a smaller diameter and provided with a thread on which there is an adjusting nut 29 through which the tension of the spring 23 can be adjusted. An adjusting screw 24 limits the movement of the double arm lever 18 in the sense of the opener of the clamping jaws. The adjustment device consisting of the elements 27, 28, 29 is protected against damage by a cover 30.
The second clamping jaw 4 is designed in a manner similar to that according to FIG. 1; however, the double-arm lever 13 is not mounted on a spring-loaded yoke by means of its pivot 15, but is fixed to the carriage body 2.
The mode of operation of the device is again similar to that according to FIG. 1, the setting of the pressing force of the clamping jaws 2 ', 4 can be carried out very precisely by turning the nut 29.
As a further embodiment, the clamping jaw 4 can be swiveled out instead of laterally displaceable. In some cases it is useful to arrange a few pairs of clamping jaws to be coupled with a pull rope one behind the other. In this case, the first pair of jaws, after clamping the rope 1, serves as a pulling element to pull the rope through the following pairs of jaws and to couple them to the rope, and when loosening the last pair of jaws to insert the preceding pairs of jaws into the uncoupling device so that no further DuTch-pulling device is required.
