Description

Injection ampoule The previous injection ampoules have the common disadvantage that, contrary to the proportions of the conventional ampoule, which is seen as the ideal drug container, they do not have a completely closed body made of glass. They are all provided with at least one exposed Kol benstopfen made of rubber elastic material; in some cases they also have further closure elements with rubber-elastic intermediate layers. Medicines packed in such syringe ampoules can therefore only be stored for a much shorter period of time than those packed in conventional ampoules.

In order to avoid this disadvantage, a syringe ampoule has been proposed which is based on the double-spit ampoule system. In a double skewer ampoule there is a sliding piston with an internal thread. After cutting off one skewer, a piston rod is screwed in and the piston can thereby be moved against the opposite skewer. The opposite skewer is also cut off and a cannula, which seals on the skewer with a rubber liner, is placed on it. However, such an ampoule has the following serious disadvantages: 1. The skewer on which the cannula is placed is exposed and is therefore unsterile. When injecting there is therefore a great risk that the injected material will become unsterile.

  2. A normal cannula with an inner cone cannot be used.

  3. The seal between the cannula and the skewer must be created using a rubber-elastic intermediate layer.

  4. The ampoule must be opened immediately in the medication room, which means that glass fragments can get into the medication. 5. By rubbing the cut end of the spit on the inside of the cannula, splinters of glass can also arise, which can get into the tissue or even into the blood vessels during the injection.

  6. It must be opened at a second point, which means that it is not ready for use.

The injection ampoule according to the invention has a container made of glass, which is closed on all sides, and a piston displaceably arranged in it, the container being set up for use on the side of the piston applied by the drug chamber for opening and the piston with one for passage of the medication pierced extension is provided, which carries an outer cone at its end facing away from the piston for tight fitting of the injection cannula provided with an inner cone.

The injection ampoule according to the present invention is therefore an all-round closed glass body before being used, so that evaporation of drug liquids or penetration of water vapor into the drug container and thereby spoilage of the drug in the container is excluded. When the glass container is opened, splinters cannot get into the medication compartment because of the piston.

The plunger with cone can be manufactured as an injection-molded or pressed piece with such precision that a tight and secure fit of the injection cannula without a rubber-elastic intermediate layer is guaranteed.

According to a further development of the invention, the use of the ampoule can also be made easier by sliding a double-winged hand rest onto a seat on the piston extension behind the injection needle. The invention will be explained in two examples with reference to the accompanying drawing. 1 and 2 show longitudinal sections through the two syringe vials.

In Fig. 1 a is a completely closed Glasbehäl ter, in which the drug is in the lower hatched part. b is a piston with an extension that is pierced and can be advanced in the axial direction in the container. Its sealing device against the container wall is carried out by one or more rings c made of elastic material. The piston b is provided at the upper end of its extension Ver with an outer cone d, on which an injection cannula with an inner cone can be placed. The container is scored at a point e prepared for opening (e.g. narrowed or provided with tension) and the upper part is broken off.

The injection cannula is placed on the cone d and pierced into the tissue or blood vessel while holding onto the piston extension.

By pushing the container up against the piston, the drug enters the cannula through the bore. When using a transparent or translucent material for the plunger, the aspiration control can be carried out particularly favorably with this ampoule. In the small cross-section below the cone, a drop of blood is visible when sucking in by gently pulling the medication container opposite the piston, which clearly shows when a blood vessel has been punctured.

In Fig. 2 an already cut syringe ampoule is shown ready for use, in which the piston extension is provided with a further cone d 'for receiving a hand rest g, which is secured by a fastener f against lifting the hand rest during aspiration. Instead of the palm rest shown here, z. B. also be used that consists only of a simple flat piece of metal or other material that is seen ver with a hole with a side slot. It is pushed laterally into a groove made in the piston extension and is thus rigidly connected to it for injection and aspiration.
