Description
The invention relates to a brick which can be divided into two wall bricks and which is particularly suitable for half-timbered buildings.
The brick according to the invention, which consists of two identical, centrally symmetrical and between tween a channel forming, are related to the halves, and along predetermined, between's channel and upper or
The separating joints running on the lower outer surface of the brick are characterized in that each of the two halves of the brick has a projection in the area of the separating joint which projects into the channel running between the halves and which is intended to hang the wall tiles on a lath is.
In the following an embodiment of the brick according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the graphical representation of the drawing.
The brick illustrated in the drawing be seated the usual length of a wall brick and consists of two halves 1, 2 of the same cross-section, which are centrally symmetrical to each other. The brick is divided into the two wall bricks by striking at the intended separation points 3. In order to facilitate the break at these points, Ker ben 4, 5 and continuous channels 6 are provided.
As mentioned at the beginning, the wall tile is intended in particular for half-timbered buildings and is hung on battens, posts or the like. In the drawing, a slat 7 is shown in dashed lines.
The support surface of the wall tile on the lath is denoted by 8 and is wedge-shaped so that the wall tile falls into the desired position when it is placed on the corresponding upwardly beveled laths without first having to be aligned. In addition, each wall tile has a wedge-shaped rib 9 on its upper surface and a corresponding keyway 10 on the opposite lower surface.
If the bricks are now laid on top of each other, when the bricks are placed on the slats 7, the wedge ribs 9 fall into the corresponding keyways 10 of the bricks below, so that the wall bricks support each other and have a firm hold: in. Have association. Here, the bearing surfaces 8, wedge ribs 9 and wedge grooves 10 lead the wall tile when placing inevitably in the correct position.
Of course, the guide surfaces and projections with grooves on the upper and lower side of the wall tile can also have a shape other than that shown.
