Description

  

  Dispositif d'assemblage d'éléments tubulaires,  notamment pour la réalisation de canaux de ventilation    La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif  d'assemblage d'éléments tubulaires, notamment pour  la réalisation de canaux de ventilation, dont les ex  trémités<B>à</B> assembler présentent chacune un rebord  extérieur formant bride.  



  Ce dispositif est caractérisé par<B>le</B> fait qu'il com  prend un collier d'assemblage se serrant sur lesdites  brides, constitué par un ruban percé,<B>à</B> intervalles  réguliers, d'ouvertures allongées longitudinales, et qui  est plié, au droit de chacune de ces ouvertures, de  manière<B>à</B> former une série de festons dirigés     radia-          lement    vers l'intérieur lorsque le collier est en place,  ces festons chevauchant alors lesdites brides, qui  pénètrent dans lesdites ouvertures, ce qui les main  tient appliquées l'une contre l'autre.  



  Le dessin représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, une forme  d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.  



  La     fig.   <B>1</B> est une vue en perspective de deux<B>élé-</B>  ments tubulaires assemblés au moyen du présent dis  positif.  



  La     fig.    2 est une coupé d'un détail de ces deux  éléments et du dispositif d'assemblage.  



  La     fig.   <B>3</B> est une vue en élévation d'une partie  du ruban d'assemblage, et  la     fig.    4 en est une vue en plan, le ruban étant  déployé.  



  Dans l'exemple représenté, les deux éléments tu  bulaires<B>à</B> assembler sont désignés respectivement par    <B>1</B> et 2.     Leux    extrémités<B>à</B> assembler présentent cha  cune un rebord extérieur la, respectivement 2a, for  mant bride d'assemblage.  



  Le dispositif d'assemblage est constitué par un  ruban métallique<B>3,</B> représenté<B>à</B> l'état déployé<B>à</B> la       fig.    4, qui est percé,<B>à</B> intervalles réguliers, d'ouver  tures allongées longitudinales 4. Le ruban<B>3</B> est plié  au droit de chacune des ouvertures 4, pour former  une série de festons 3a.

   Le serrage est assuré par une  vis<B>5</B> prenant dans des noyaux<B>6</B> fixés aux extrémités  du ruban<B>3.</B> Lorsque le collier est en     place,comme     le représente la     fig.   <B>1,</B> les festons 3a sont dirigés     ra-          dialement    vers l'intérieur et chevauchent les brides  <I>la</I> et 2a, appliquées l'une contre l'autre, ces derniè  res pénétrant dans les ouvertures 4.<B>Il</B> est<B>à</B> remar  quer que la forme de celles-ci est elliptique, lorsque  le ruban est déployé     (fig.    4) de telle sorte que les gor  ges ménagées dans les festons 3a par ses ouvertures  ont leurs parois concourantes,

   ce qui transforme la  pression radiale exercée par le collier sur les brides  en une pression axiale des deux brides l'une contre  l'autre.  



  Le collier décrit et représenté est d'une utilisa  tion facile et rapide<B>;</B> en outre sa fabrication est des  plus simples et son prix de revient très peu élevé.<B>A</B>  ce propos, il est<B>à</B>     remarquerque    le ruban<B>3</B> pourra  être fabriqué<B>à</B> continu, et coupé aux longueurs dési  rées, les ouvertures 4 servant, aux extrémités, au  passage de la vis<B>5</B> pénétrant dans les noyaux<B>6.</B>
