Description

Objective turret for motion picture cameras The present invention relates to an objective turret for motion picture cameras, the design of which, because the motion picture cameras have an objective aperture adjustment dependent on the speed, leads to previously unknown difficulties and tasks.

It must be taken into account that the number-of-gear-dependent lens aperture adjustment requires the arrangement of adjusting elements, which are housed in the housing of the camera and are in operative connection with the gear-number adjustment devices, while on the other hand they must influence the aperture of the lens that is is currently in the pick-up position.

This means that elements of the device for the speed-dependent lens adjustment must be in the area of moving parts with each turret rotation. Damage and breakage would therefore occur if, when operating the motion picture camera, it was forgotten to move these links out of the range of moving parts when the turret rotates.

The resulting objects are achieved according to the invention by the arrangement of a device which locks the objective turret against rotation and which only releases it when elements of the device serving for speed-dependent objective adjustment located in the area of moving parts during the rotation of the turret are moved out of this area are.

The drawing shows an example Ausfüh tion of the subject invention.

Z, Fi-. 1 again shows a vertical longitudinal section through an objective nosepiece designed according to the invention, according to line I-1 of FIG. 2, while the latter corresponds to a front view of the objective nosepiece. In the drawing, 1 denotes the turret disk, which can be rotated on a pin 2 fixedly arranged in the camera housing.

The locking disc 3 is firmly connected to the head disc 1 . On its edge, the locking disc 3 has slots 4, which in the usual arrangement of a Normal, a wide-angle and a telephoto lens with distances of 1200 associated central angles follow one another. The slot-forming wall parts are arranged in such a way that they firmly enclose the locking part. 5 which can be seen from FIG. 1 in the locking position shown there, so that the lens revolve # r is not only secured against rotation, but is also precisely fixed in the setting positions.

At 6, 7 and 8 , both panes have feed-through recesses for the lenses or for sealing plugs if the lenses are not completely present. The bushing openings 6, 7, 8 have those from FIG. 2 visible shape, so that apart from two opposing boundary arcs 61, 62 the flattened areas 63, 64 lie opposite one another.

The same cross-sectional shape have recesses in the lamellae 9, that correspond to the recesses 6, 7, 8 between the top disk 1 and locking disk 3, as shown in FIG. . 1 shows below. These lamellae have the shape shown above in dashed lines in FIG.

They therefore consist of a ring piece 91, a sector 92 that adjoins the ring piece 91, and a handle that closes off the sector 93 and from an attachment tongue 94, which is enclosed at 95 . At its ends the slot 95 widens to form the circular recesses 96, 97. The slot 95 is penetrated by a pin 10, which at 101 has an attachment that is in the end pieces of a lamella 9 either in the extension 96 or 97 < / B> of the slot 95 . A recess 34 in the locking disk 3 can temporarily accommodate the shoulder 101 .

The pin 10 bai 102 has a cap over which it is guided on the nipple 11 that is in connection with the head disk 1 of the nosepiece each one of the slats is arranged. By means of the spring 12, the pin 10 and the guide cap 102 are arranged in a sprung manner. If the guide cap 102 is pressed in, the reinforced extension 101 of the pin 10 leaves its position in one of the recesses 96, 97, so that there is a possibility of rotation of the lamella 9 occurs against the recess 6 , the pin 10 being in the slot 95 .

In the in Fig. 2 shows an end position of the lamella 9 in which the handle 93 is pulled out, the inner boundary surfaces of the ring piece 91 match those of the recesses < B> 6 in the top disk 1 and locking disk 3 match, so that in this position the insertion and removal of the insertion ends of lenses or the not shown Plug body can be carried out.

If, on the other hand, the lamellae are in the position shown at the bottom left in FIG. 2, then the delimiting edges 98, 99 of the lamellae 9 corresponding to the flattened areas 63, 64 penetrate in the space delimited by the areas 61 to 64. As a result, they lie in grooves in the insertion ends of the objectives or plug bodies with a groove width matching the thickness of the lamellae, so that the objectives or plug bodies are thereby fixed against the panes 1, 3.

In each end position, the attachment 101 of a pin 10 jumps into one of the recesses. 96, 97 and in this way secures the respective end position of the lamella. What has been detailed for the recess 6 applies mutatis mutandis to the other recesses 7, 8 etc.

The locking part 5 guided in its longitudinal direction at 13 forms at 14 a joint with the double-armed lever 15 on which the adjusting member 16 with the handle 17 located outside the camera housing. In addition, the locking part 5 is under the influence of a powerful spring 18 which constantly tries to push it into the locking position. The adjuster-an 16 is designed in the manner of a one-sided, cut-off circular disk.

A recess 161 in the adjusting element 16 is used to accommodate the detent spring 19. The double-armed lever 15 forms at 20 second joint, via which it is connected to a member 21 of a device which is not shown as such and is used for speed-dependent lens diaphragm adjustment. Such a device forms the subject of an earlier proposal.

A further element of this device can be seen, consisting of the ring piece 22 with the shoulders 23 and 24. The extension 24 acts directly on a projection connected to the iris diaphragm of an objective. At the same time it can be seen that the provision 24 would prevent a rotation of the turret head pr Z, 1, 3 if it did not move parts prior to rotation of the head out of the area would be brought.

The further stop 23 is influenced by the speed adjustment of moving parts, so that in this way the lens diaphragm adjustment is effected as a function of changes in the speed. In order to move the part 24 out of the area required when the turret rotates moving parts, the ring sleeve 25 is provided, the axial movement of which moves the parts 22 to 24 by means of the snap ring 26 </ B> follow.

For this purpose, the fork piece 27 is located between the parts 22 and 25 and is connected to the adjusting member 21 via the cross piece 28 . The adjusting member 21 has straight guides at 29 and 30 , with transverse pins 31, 32 simultaneously determining the end positions of the adjusting member 21.

A helical spring 33 which is weaker than the spring 18 tries to create the ring collar 25 and thus the parts 27, 28, 21 on the one hand, 22 to 24 on the other hand always to be pressed into the position in which the stop 24 is effective with respect to the lens diaphragm adjustment.

The mode of operation of the device described in this way is as follows: If the manually operable adjusting element 16 is turned counterclockwise by means of the handle 17 against the action of the detent spring 19 > ge rotates, initially the locking part 5 does not change its position because the spring forces of the spring 18 are determined so that they are greater than the resistance to movement in the on the joint 20 following members and occur in this joint itself.

This means that when the adjusting member 16 is actuated, the double-armed lever 15 initially pivots about the pivot point 14. As a result, the parts 22, 23 and in front of the adjusting member 21, cross arm 28 fork piece 27 and ring hoops 25 All 24 is transferred to the position in which inserting lenses protruding beyond the locking disk 3 are not able to hit the stop 24.

Only after the pivoting of the double-armed lever 15 has been completed in this way can the manual force exerted to rotate the adjusting member 16 at 17 to overcome the opposing forces of the spring 18 , so that the locking part 5 is pulled out of the locking recess 4. The turret head can now be rotated in such a way that the objective that is required at the moment comes into the recording position.

The adjusting element 16 had previously been left to its own devices, as the hand required to operate it was required to rotate the turret. The locking part 5 thus slides under the pressure of the spring 18 on the inner boundary surface of the locking disk 3, bis, which is uninterrupted between two successive recesses 4 it automatically locks into the following recess 4 under the pressure of the spring 18 .

As a result, the counteraction of the detent spring 19 is overcome and the adjusting element 16 is returned to the starting position. The counteraction of the previously tensioned spring 30 can now also unfold, so that the spring 33 ensures the automatic transfer of the stop 24 into the position in which it is rests against the iris stop of the lens located in the exposure position, so that the aperture openings of this lens now assume a size dependent on the number of turns.

A spring also automatically brings the iris diaphragm into an end position so that the iris diaphragm stop always assumes a position in which it is under the influence of the stop 24.

The new way of securing the lenses by means of bayonet locks and parts of the turret head resting on flattened chamfers of the lens mounts also has the advantage over fixing the lenses by means of threaded connections that the optical axis of the lenses is not rotated in relation to itself, i.e. in space is completely fixed, so that any asymmetries in the optical system are not shown at different points, but always in the same way, so that an error in need of correction can be detected and eliminated more quickly.
