des machines à palettes ordinaires utilisées par les teinturiers dégraisseurs et des machines à palettes ovales utilisées dans l'industrie des bérets ;
Cette cuve est munie de deux rampes destinées à l'injection du bain qui doit circuler à son intérieur en entraînant les matières à traiter. L'une de ces rampes 6 est placée à la partie inférieure et extérieure de la cuve 2 ;
Comme on le conçoit, il est possible de brancher sur la même pompe 16 et -le même réservoir 14 plu- sieurs cuves 2, ce qui permet d'effectuer le même traitement sur des matières différentes sans -les mé- langer ;
Machine for the wet treatment of textile materials The present invention relates to a machine for the wet treatment of textile materials, for example by soaking these materials in a bath, with a view to treatments such as:
dyeing, desizing, degreasing, wetting, washing, impregnation.
To carry out these treatments, there are certain machines in which the materials are treated by soaking in a. bath and are drawn into this bath set in motion by a mechanical member such as a paddle mill. This is the case, for example,
ordinary pallet machines used by degreaser dyers and oval pallet machines used in the beret industry;
these two types of machines are, moreover, also used in hosiery for dyeing stockings and for dyeing certain finished articles.
There is, moreover, another type of machine known by the expression dyeing cauldron. In these machines designed in particular for dyeing clothes, the material is entrained by the bath which is circulated by an injection of heating steam or compressed air.
The present invention specifically relates to a machine of the dyeing cauldron type. This machine is characterized by means constantly removing the treatment bath from the machine and by means reinjecting said bath into the machine in directions such as:
the material to be treated either opened by the liquid stream or dragged by it and is thus perfectly treated, said means reinjecting the bath being constituted by ramps in front of which the material passes at regular intervals.
The appended schematic drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the machine according to the invention consisting of a machine with discontinuous operation in an autoclave tank. Figs. 1 and 2 are views respectively in elevation with partial section along 1-1 of FIG. 2, and in plan above.
In this drawing, 2 denotes a tank of cylindrical shape comprising, in its central part, an eccentric hollow cylinder 3 whose role is to guide the material to be treated in its rotational movement along arrow 4 of FIG. 1. This tank is closed by a sealed cover 5 allowing it to be pressurized.
This tank is provided with two ramps intended for the injection of the bath which must circulate inside it, entraining the materials to be treated. One of these ramps 6 is placed at the lower and outer part of the tank 2;
the other ramp 7 is placed in the tank 2 below the central cylinder 3. These two ramps are perforated so as to inject the bath according to the arrows 8 and 9 respectively of FIG. 1.
In its upper part, the tank 2 has a weir communicating with a manifold 12 that a pipe 13 connects to a reservoir 14 equipped with a filter 15 and in which a -pump 16 sucks the liquid through a pipe 17 and discharges it into a pipe 18 which brings it to the injection ramps 6 and 7.
The tank 2 has a double bottom 19 in which a drain valve 21 is mounted.
The bath contained in the machine% can be heated either by a coil 22 placed in the double bottom 19, or by a steam injection rail 23 which is perforated in the same direction as the injection rams 6 and 7. of the bath, or also by a heating surface 24 provided in the tank 14,
or finally by three means simultaneously.
The reservoir 14 has an orifice 25 for filling it with water, which orifice is closed by a sealed cover in order to allow the machine to operate under pressure.
The machine comprises: finally a dye or other material vessel 26 connected by a pipe 27 to the delivery pipe 18 from the bath in the tank and by a pipe 28 to the tank 14. Two taps 29 and 30 placed on these pipes 27 and 28 allow the vessel 26 to be isolated, which is closed by a cover 32.
The treatment bath is introduced into the machine through the orifice 2.5 of the reservoir 14. The pump 16, being put into operation, delivers this bath. in tank 2 through. ramps 6 and 7 giving this bath. a circular movement around the hollow cylinder 3 in the direction of -la
arrow 4 in fig. 1. The bath thus overflows through the weir 10 into the collector 12 and therefore returns to the reservoir 14 through the pipe 13, then passes through the filter 15 and after having been heated by:
the heating surface 24 possibly provided in the tank 14 is taken up by the pump 16 to be reinjected into the tank 2.
The concentrated solution of the treatment product, namely a coloring material for example, contained in the vessel 26 descends into the reservoir 14 when the tap 30 is open. The mixing of this solution with the bath is thus carried out in the reservoir.
When equilibrium is achieved and the necessary temperature is obtained, the material to be treated is introduced into tank 2; the cover 5 is then closed as are the covers of the reservoir 14 and of the vessel 26, which optionally makes it possible to raise the temperature of the bath to more than 1000.
The material entrained in the tank 2 following a circular movement which is imposed on it by the bath periodically passes in front of the injection ramps 6 and 7,
which ensures an opening of this material and therefore its effective treatment by the bath which circulates continuously.
It should be noted that an auxiliary circuit can be connected in parallel with the main circuit for the introduction of the colorant during the operation of the machine, even when the latter is under pressure at a temperature greater than 1000.
In fact, the taps 29 and 30 being closed, the cover 32 of the vessel 26 can be opened, which makes it possible to introduce into this vessel the concentrated solution required for the treatment. The cover 32 then being closed, the taps 29 and 30 are open.
A current: liquid circulating in the vessel 26 then entrains the concentrated solution in the machine under pressure.
As can be seen, it is possible to connect to the same pump 16 and the same reservoir 14 several tanks 2, which makes it possible to carry out the same treatment on different materials without mixing them;
it is thus possible, for example, to dye finished articles of different sizes with the same dye, without it being necessary to put them in bags to separate them according to their size. This machine can be discontinuous or continuous.
In the first case, the material is loaded into the machine, processed there for a period of time, and then removed from it to make room for another load.
In the second case, the materials to be treated are introduced continuously at one of the ends of the machine and are extracted after treatment at its other end. In all cases, the translation of the material is obtained by the very movement of the treatment liquid, the discharge openings of which are outside the treatment tank,
in the direction of the re-suction tank, are arranged in a suitable manner, the apparatus for introducing the products and regulating the consistency of the bath being placed on this re-suction tank.
This machine can of course operate either at a temperature below 100, in an open tank, or at a temperature above 1000, in an autoclave tank.
