Fig.l), nämlich eine flache Kreisscheibe 1, hat eine Anzahl von Magnet köpfen<I>a, b,</I> c, welche zur Tonaufzeichnung und -wiedergabe dienen.
Fig.2).
Fig. 14).
Fig. 13 veranschaulicht eine Kreisscheibe 1 mit drei Magnetköpfen<I>a, b</I> und c.
Fig.20).
Fig. 21).
Fig. 23) aufgezeichnet sind.
Fig. 26) (in Drehrichtung des Pfeiles 2 betrachtet) unmittelbar vor den zur Tonaufzeichnung dienenden Magnetköpfen<I>a, b</I> und c Löschköpfe<I>a', b'</I> und c' vorgesehen.
Fig. 33) vorgesehen.

First, the principle of the device, which allows the sound recording and the reading of texts or viewing of images, will be explained.
The revolving body (see. Fig.l), namely a flat circular disk 1, has a number of magnetic heads <I> a, b, </I> c, which are used for sound recording and playback. These magnetic heads are arranged on the circumference of the disk 1 at the same angular distance from one another. While the disk rotates in the direction of arrow 2, it is also displaced transversely to its axis in the direction of arrow 3. The sheet 4 provided with a magnetizable film 5 is pressed by the pressure plate 6 from the side facing away from the film 5.
The film 5 has a rectangular shape and kanji (see FIG. 2) can be glued to the sheet 4 or drawn up in another suitable manner, as shown in FIG. As a result of the orbital movement of the disc 1 and its simultaneous longitudinal displacement is the starting point 8 and the end point 9 of the sound track 7, the z.
B. is generated by the magnetic head a in the disc 1, not at the same height, but the point 8 is higher than the point 9 (see. Fig.2). When a pickup head sweeps the circular arc-shaped sound track generated by a sound recording head, the sound can be made audible. When one magnetic head comes to the edge of the film, the next magnetic head already reaches the beginning of the film, so that the recording or playback process can be continued as long as the film can record or contains sound tracks .
On the side of the sheet 4 opposite the film 5, a text or graphic representations can be applied by printing or in any other arbitrary manner, which are related to the sound recording to be recorded or reproduced and which are visible through the transparent pressure plate when one is in Direction of the arrow 10 'looks at this. So you can read the text or look at the drawings while listening to the text or the explanations of the drawings.
A device is used to introduce the clay sheet into the device, with which this process can be carried out quickly and precisely by means of simple measures. In general, the clay sheet to be used for the device has a relatively large width, eg. B. the width of a conventional writing paper; however, it is relatively unstable in the mechanical sense, since it can consist of a material such as paper. So one must pay attention to the fact that the paper does not get a kink when it is inserted into the device. Therefore a facility is provided to facilitate this introduction.
The clay sheet 41 (see FIG. 3) has a relatively large width L. The sheet 4 serving as a carrier for the magnetizable film 5 is made of a material such as, for B. made of paper and provided with holes 10 which are used to fix the position of the sheet M in the correct position to the device. The sound sheet must have exactly the same position in the device during recording and playback. If this condition is not met exactly, the reproduction will be poor or even impossible.
In order to avoid the difficulties mentioned, the device has a frame 11 (see. Fig. 4 to 6) and is designed so that the clay sheet M can be brought into the correct position, which is shown in Fig. 4 on the frame by dash-dotted lines is indicated. Therefore, pins 12 are provided on the frame 11 which fit into the holes 10 of the clay sheet M. The pressure plate 6 is hinged to the frame 11 and has holes 14 for the pins 12. This plate is transparent and presses the clay sheet M from above when it has fallen down.
When slipping over the holes of the clay sheet on the pins 12, it is very difficult to bring this mitein other in accordance, especially because with regard to the thin and flexible material, for. B. paper or plastic, a larger number of holes and pins is provided. It comes z. B. it often happens that when you slip the holes of the sheet over the pins on one side, it separates from the pins on the other side. The insertion of the sheet is practically very difficult, and in not a few cases it can happen that the pressure plate is folded down while some pens are not yet in the holes, whereby the clay sheet is damaged or destroyed so that it cannot be used . To avoid such incidents, the operator must be very careful where they can be distracted.
Along the pins 12, retaining strips 15 and 16 are therefore fastened pivotably by means of the hinges 17, 18 on the frame 11, which contain holes 19, 20 for the pins 12. When the holes 10 on one edge of the sheet M are slipped over the pins 12, the retaining strip is folded down on this side, where the sheet M is held in the correct position by the weight of this bar. Then the holes 10 on the other edge of the sheet <B> A </B> <I> s </I> are slipped over the pins 12 and the other holding bar is folded down. Thus, the insertion of the clay sheet in the completely correct position can be carried out easily and simply. It can be seen that the sheet has been inserted correctly from the fact that the upper ends of the pins 12 protrude through the holes 19, 20 of the retaining strips 15, 16.
After folding down the retaining strips 15, 16, the pressure plate 6 to adjust the sound sheet M is folded down. There is then no risk of part of the sheet being pinched between a pin 12 and a hole 14 in the plate 6. In this way, even a person who is not particularly skilled manually can easily work with the device without having to fear damage to the clay sheet.
In Fig. 6 a modified embodiment of the auxiliary device described above is Darge provides. The retaining bar 16 is always pressed into the open position by the spring 21. When the clay sheet M is inserted, the bar 16 is pivoted onto the sheet by hand. The bar has a hook-like extension 22, which can grip the lever 23 applied to the frame 11 at 25, which is pulled forward by the spring 24. As a result, the bar 16 is locked ver in the folded down position, whereby the holder of the sheet is more secure ge. To remove the sheet, the lever 23 is pivoted to the right and the bar 16 is automatically folded upwards by the action of the spring 21 after the hook 22 has been released.
A corresponding locking arrangement can be provided for the strip 15 and, if necessary, a further locking arrangement which allows the retaining strips to be folded up on both edges at the same time. Furthermore, if necessary, a device can be provided with which all pins 12 are brought down at the same time under the surface of the frame ll, whereby the take from the sheet M is facilitated.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, it is difficult to sheet the position of the magnetic heads to the sound to recognize, which is sometimes inconvenient because the recording or playback time still available to the end of the sheet cannot be estimated or read. In addition, this was a disadvantage if you only want to play a certain part of the recording in an intermediate position. There is therefore a display device is provided with the aid of which the longitudinal displacement of the rotating disk 1 can be read. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7, 8 and 9, a clay sheet M is fastened together with a pressure plate 6 on the frame 11 of the device B by means of a frame 26.
The disk 1 has a number of magnetic heads ca, <I> b, e. </I> It lies under the sheet <I> M, </I> runs in the direction of the arrow 2 and moves in the direction of the Arrow 3 on the guide rails 29 by means of the rollers 28, which are seated on the table 27 carrying the disc 1. The motor 30, the reduction gear 31 and the drive wheel 32 serve to drive the disk. The longitudinal movement is brought about by the table 27 connected to the part 34. The part 34 engages in the rotating roller 33. The handle 35 is used to couple and uncouple the part 34.
An endless thread 36 guided over the thread rollers 37 is connected to the part 34 and is held under tension by the spring 38 or another tensioning device. The pointer 39 is attached to a point on the thread 36 in such a way that it indicates the longitudinal displacement of the disk 1 on the frame 11. Before starting the recording, the connection between the part 34 and the screw shaft 33 is released by pressing down the pin 35 and the disk 1 (see FIG. 7) is moved to the left, the thread 36 being moved along with the pointer 39. As soon as the pointer 39 shows the number of the desired sound track, the magnetic head is located above this sound track. If z.
B. is to be started at the beginning of the sound track, the disc is moved until the pointer has reached zero point on the scale on the frame 11, and then the pin 35 is released to engage the part 34 and the screw shaft 33 again to manufacture. If it should then be found that the pointer 39 should show a small deviation from the actual zero point on the tone sheet, the disk 1 can be adjusted by a slight rotation of the screw shaft 33 in one direction or the other until the pointer shows exactly . Then the sound recording or reproduction can begin by rotating the disk 1 and sliding it longitudinally on the rails 29 as a result of the rotation of the screw shaft 33.
The thread 36 and the pointer 39 are then moved in accordance with the linear movement of the disk 1, and the recorded or played part of the sheet can be read at any time.
During playback, any desired starting point can easily be obtained by attaching a mark to the non-magnetizable surface corresponding to the content of the recording, or by providing a scale graduation 42 'on this surface, which indicates the number of audio tracks that the Content corresponds. The pointer 39 is placed on the number of the scale 41, which is indicated by the mark or the scale on the non-magnetic surface of the clay sheet M. By these Einrich lines the use of the device is made very be convenient.
Instead of the thread for transmitting the longitudinal displacement to the pointer, its drive can take place directly from the screw shaft 33 or from the back and forth moving disk. Illumination can also be provided for the pointer.
In Fig. 10 a device with a lamp 44 is shown, the movement of the disc 1 accordingly, moves to the right or left and is visible through a slot 45.
From the previous description it emerges that if the disc 1 is not at the starting point of the sound sheet at the beginning of the sound recording process, various difficulties arise. In addition, it is inconvenient in practical use of the device before if the end of the last sound track on the sound sheet is not indicated a certain time in advance.
A device is therefore provided which is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, stops 50, 51 are provided, which are displaceable and lockable on the rod 46 parallel to the direction of movement of the disc 1, and are movable. The stop 51 has a switch pin 49 and the stop 50 has switch pins 47 and 48. The finger 57 is connected to the parts on which the disc 1 is seated. When this disc has arrived at the end of an operation (playing, playing or deleting), the finger 57 hits the corresponding switch pins, whereby the movement processes of the disc are automatically controlled or a warning signal is given.
The device shown in FIG. 11 operates as follows: the motor 63 drives the screw shaft 33 by means of a gear 58. The table 56 to be moved to the right and left carries the disk 1 and is set in motion by means of the screw shaft 33 and the threaded piece 66. In addition, a guide rod 46 'is provided on which the table 56 with the guide piece 66', the z. B. is made of metal, slides. The guide rod 46 is parallel to the displacement movement of the disc on which the clamping pieces 52 and 53 with the adjusting screws 54 and 55 for setting the stops 50 and 51 are arranged.
When playing (and in a similar way when playing and erasing) the disc 1 is moved in the direction of arrow 3 from left to right. At the beginning of this process, the disc 1 is in the extreme position on the left, so that the finger 57 of the table 56 actuates a switch via the switch pin 49 in the stop 51 and the change gear 58 switches so that the example begins with the disc 1 rotating and moves from right to left. As soon as the finger 57 reaches the switch pin 47 on the right in the stop 50, the circuit 59 is closed, whereby an electric lamp lights up, which gives a warning sign. If the finger is moved further to the right, it actuates the second switch pin 48, so that a circuit 61 is closed and the motor 63 is switched off.
The arrangement can be made so that the circuit 61 is reopened after it is closed, and that the motor runs in the reverse direction of rotation, or that the shaft 33 runs quickly in the reverse direction after stopping by the change gear 58 in is influenced accordingly. The table 56 can thus be brought back to the starting point quickly and automatically from right to left.
As soon as the table 56 returns to the starting point, the finger 57 comes into contact with the switch pin 49 and the motor 63 is stopped or the shaft 33 is driven again in the normal direction, i.e. for the movement from left to right, at the correct speed, and by influencing the change gear 58. The stops 50 and 51 can be set in any position using the screws 54 and 55. This adjustability is particularly advantageous if only part of a sound sheet is to be played repeatedly. Damage to the magnetic heads on the disk 1 is precluded by these stops, which cause the movement drive to be switched.
The safe, automatic mode of operation is explained in FIG. 10. The sliding table 105 which supports the disk 1 is moved right or left by the screw shaft 33. When the table 105 is engaged by a screw guide piece (not shown) with the thread of the shaft 33 at the starting point on the right, a pressure piece 60 on the table 105 is in contact with the switch pin 49 of the stop pin 51, whereby the movement of the Table 105 is stopped to the right. When this table moves to the left, the pressure piece 47 "provided on it first comes into contact with the switch pin 47 'of the stop 50', whereby z.
B. a warning sign for the termination of the recording process is given. When the table 105 continues to move to the right, the other pressure piece 48 ″ comes into contact with the switch pin 48 'of the stop 50' in order to switch off the power for the table drive.
The device for rotating the screw shaft 33 in the device according to FIG. 10 operates as follows: the motor 63 drives the leg wheel 68 via the worm 67 and an intermediate shaft drives the bevel gear 69, which meshes with the bevel gear 70 on the shaft 33.
The fast forward gear or the reverse gear of the table 105 comes about as follows: The belt pulley 71 is seated firmly on the shaft of the motor 63 and drives the belt pulley 73 via a belt 72. This normally sits loosely on the shaft 33 and can be coupled by means of the lever 51 'and a dovetail-shaped groove as soon as the electromagnet 74 is excited. At the same time the bevel gear 70 is brought out of engagement of the bevel gear 69 ge. With this arrangement, the shaft 33 rotates at high speed as soon as the electromagnet 74 is energized. The movement of the shaft 33 and thus that of the table 105 is reversed by the motor 63, so that a rapid forward or backward movement of the table 105 can be effected.
It will now be explained the facilities with which the magnetic head is automatically returned to the starting point.
In the device described, a number of magnetic heads are attached to a rotating disk or an endless belt at the same angular distance or at the same distance, and the disk or the belt also perform a longitudinal movement. The movement of these parts and thus that of the magnetic heads can be stopped at any point. If the magnetic head is not at the starting point, the first part of the playback will fail even if it is on the first sound track. The device according to FIGS. 12 to 14 serves to prevent this. The motor 75 (cf. FIG. 12) drives the shaft 76 in the direction of the arrow 77. The regulator D consists of the weights 78 and the leaf springs 79.
One end of the spring is firmly connected to the shaft via the sleeve 80, while the other ends are attached to the sleeve 81 which slides on the shaft. A roller 82 is arranged on the sleeve 81 at the top. The disk 1 is shown in FIG. 12 not shown; However, this should be understood to mean that the disc is fixedly arranged on a support table I 'and that it rotates in the direction of arrow 2 and is simultaneously moved in the direction of arrow 3, together with table 1'. Accordingly, the sound traces produced on the clay sheet are in the form of arcs (see FIG. 14).
The table 1 'has an inclined side surface 83 which contains grooves 84. The radius of this groove is greater than that of the roller 82. As soon as the motor 75 is stopped, the roller 83 is relatively high, so that it is not in contact with the side surface 83 of the table 1 'because of its inclination. As soon as the recording or playing is finished and the rotation of the disc stops, it is necessary to return the magnetic head to the starting point, namely point 8 in Fig. 14. A switch for driving the motor 75 is therefore closed and the controller D begins to rotate.
Due to the centrifugal force of the weights 78, the roller 82 is brought down into engagement with the inclined side surface 81 of the table 1 'so that it is rotated. As soon as the groove 84 comes to the roller 82, it gets into the groove which has a larger radius than the roller, and the roller now rotates empty without any drive effect on the table 1 '. It can be seen that the magnetic head is brought to the starting point by properly determining the location of the groove 84 and the location of the controller D. The motor 75 is now switched off and the roller 82 rises through the action of the leaf springs and disengages from the table 1 '. So it does not prevent the rotation of the disc 1 and the table 1 '.
13 illustrates a circular disk 1 with three magnetic heads <I> a, b </I> and c. The distance between each head and the associated groove 84a, 84b or 84e is the same. With this arrangement, a magnetic head is always quickly brought back to the starting point by rotating the rotary table 1 'less than an angle of 120.
While the above description is given in terms of a circular disc 1 having a number of magnetic heads equiangularly spaced, it is apparent that a similar arrangement can be made for a device using an endless belt with a number of magnetic heads equivalently Distance, which the clay sheet brush over.
The application of the auxiliary device illustrated in FIGS. 12 to 14 can be taken ent from FIG.
It has been described above how a magnetic head is set to the starting point 8 (see FIG. 14) by rotating the disk 1 'by means of the motor 75, the regulator D, the groove 84, and so on. In this context, it is of course necessary that the disc 1 is in a position in which it can rotate freely with this setting. The device provided for this purpose will be described later in connection with FIGS. 18 to 20 and 25.
The device for sound recording and reproduction described also has the following device. When inserting a clay sheet into the device, difficulties can arise with regard to the correct position, which can be traced back to the lengthening or shortening of the clay sheet as a result of temperature or moisture changes. If you want to play and listen to a soundtrack at a temperature and humidity that differ from the temperature and humidity during the recording, it is necessary to adjust the position of the soundtrack relative to the sound head so that they are completely in accordance with each other .
Namely, since the width of the sound track and the magnetic head are on the order of about 1 mm, if this condition is not met, a decrease in the volume, a deterioration in the sound reproduction quality and the occurrence of extraneous noise are caused.
The discrepancy between the sound track and the magnetic head can be compensated for precisely, so that the magnetic head (as a pickup) scans the sound track precisely.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 15 to 17, groove-like depressions 85 and 86 and a frame 87 displaceable in these are provided on the frame 11 of the Vorrich device B. On this frame lies the frame 26, in which a clay sheet M and a pressure plate 6 are arranged so as to be overlapping. Toothed racks 88 are provided on the underside of the frame 87, in which the gearwheels 90 seated on the shaft 89 engage. The shaft 89 is supported on a stationary part of the device and has a button 91 at one end.
The disc 1 has three pickup heads. a, b, c; it runs in the direction of arrow 2 and at the same time moves in the direction of arrow 3 by the drive of a screw shaft (not shown).
As described above, the clay sheet M is guided in such a way that the magnetizable film 5 faces downward and faces the head a, while it is held in a flat position in the frame 26 from above by the pressure of the pressure plate. If the movement of the disk 1 in the directions indicated by the arrows 2 and 3, the head a is not in the correct position to the sound track 7 on the sound sheet M (see. Fig. 17), the sound reproduction can not be performed satisfactorily .
To overcome this difficulty, the button 91 is actuated to adjust the movable frame 87 and thereby the sound sheet Min is moved in the directions indicated by the double arrow 92, so that an exact match between the path of the pickup head and the soundtrack 7 occurs. You can also adjust the clay sheet in directions perpendicular to the double arrow 92, using a similar device. This setting can also be achieved by moving the rotating disc carrying the pickup heads while the reed is held.
The application of the device described above is shown in FIG.
A stop 11 'is firmly connected to the frame 11, which has a swallow groove shown in FIG. 16 and is slidably disposed in the housing 93. By turning the knob 91, this frame can easily be shifted to the right and left in the housing 93.
When the magnetic head a (see. Fig. 2) records the arc-shaped audio track ac - the course of which results from the composite movement in the direction of arrows 2 and 3 - the magnetic heads b and c must not record any audio tracks between ba and cb, and they must therefore be kept ineffective. However, parts of the sheets b-a and c-b face the film 5, and if the magnetic heads b and c are not kept separate from the film 5, unnecessary and disturbing recording may occur in these parts.
A device is therefore provided through which these magnetic heads are separated from the magnetizable film 5 of the sound sheet when idling, depending on when playing or playing from.
An embodiment of this device is illustrated in FIGS. 18-20. A rotatable shaft 96 is driven via a gear 94 by a motor (not shown). The shaft 96 with the wedge 95 sets the worm 97 in rotation, which in turn engages in the worm wheel 98 to drive the disk 1 umlau Fenden. The gear 94 is in engagement 'with the gear 99 on the shaft 33 for the longitudinal displacement of the disk 1. The magnetic heads are (electrically) connected in series or in parallel so that they work in phase agreement when recording the sound track.
When this device is put into operation for recording, the magnetic head a performs the necessary movement for recording a circular arc-shaped sound track on the film 5, while at the same time the other magnetic heads facing the film (magnetic head bin Fig. 19) also unnecessary and disturbing sound recordings, because all three magnetic heads receive the same current for the recording. It is therefore necessary to prevent the unnecessary recording by the remaining magnetic heads while the necessary recording is carried out only by a head which is to be effective.
In the embodiment shown in Figs. 18 to 20, an auxiliary device is additionally provided by which the remaining magnetic heads can be separated from the film 5 while the one magnetic head is kept in contact with the magnetizable film in order to carry out the necessary sound recording. The magnetic heads <I> a, b </I> and c are fastened to the disk 1 by means of a leaf spring 10 each. A guide ring 103 is provided concentrically to the circumference of the disk 1, the two ends of which are beveled (see FIG. 20). The guide ring 103 is fastened on a ver sliding table by means of the holding members 104 be.
As soon as the magnetic head a is rotated in the direction of arrow 2 and enters the area in which the necessary sound track is to be created, it can approach the film 5 and generate the sound track, since the projection 102 of the head a does not align with the guide ring 103 Is in contact and it is pressed onto the film 5 by the spring 100. The projection 102 on the head c comes into contact with the lower edge of the Füh approximately ring 103 and is pressed downwards by it as the rotary movement of the disc 1 continues; the magnetic head c is thus separated from the film 5 ge. In this way, the soundtrack is recorded one after the other by one magnetic head by keeping the other magnetic heads separated from the film 5 and thereby completely avoiding disturbing soundtracks.
Even in the above-described embodiment, a problem may still arise when the magnetic head is returned to the starting point by reversing the direction of rotation of the screw shaft 33 due to the reversal of the motor after the recording or playing is finished. As has been stated above when explaining the action of the guide ring 103 (see FIGS. 18 to 20), a magnetic head is always kept in contact with the film 5. If the rotating disk is returned to the starting point, the head in contact with the film can scratch the surface of the film and destroy the narrow, sensitive soundtracks.
In the return position of the disc 1, all magnetic heads must therefore be lifted from the film. For this purpose, a movable, manually or electromagnetically operated rail is arranged in the space in which the guide 103 does not act, for lifting the magnetic head while the disk 1 is being reset. An arc-shaped rail 106 is at the outer end of the armature <B > 108 </B> of the electro magnet 107 is attached and is pulled down when the electromagnet is energized. The magnetic head a is separated from the film 5 by engaging the rail 106 with the projection 102. With the correct arrangement of the guide ring 103 and the rail 106, all magnetic heads <I> a, b </I> and c can be lifted off the film 5 when the disk 1 is quickly returned, regardless of which position they are in.
This facility works in the same way for recording, playing and deleting.
The device shown in FIG. 10 illustrates the use of the device according to FIGS. 18 to 20. Corresponding parts are denoted in these drawings by the same reference numerals and reference letters, where <I> a ', b' </I> and c 'in Fig. 10 are erase heads.
The application possibilities of the device described can be significantly improved for practical use by providing a device through which both the sound recording and the sound reproduction can be carried out when the disk 1 rotates in (normal) forward and backward directions.
FIG. 21 shows a method in which, by means of the device described, reproductions can be made from a matrix which has been created by recording magnetic sound tracks 7. Fig. 24 shows a stencil sheet M and a sheet P to which the sound recording is to be transferred. The two sheets are placed on top of each other so that the magnetizable films touch, whereupon they are brought into an alternating magnetic field. The strength of this magnetic field must not be too strong so that it does not cause the die plate M to be erased.
The magnetic field is gradually weakened until it reaches the value zero, whereupon the leaves are separated. In this way, the recorded sound tracks on the die plate M are transferred to the sound sheet P, while the sound recording on the die sheet M remains completely unaffected. By repeating this process, a large number of secondary sheets can be produced from one matrix sheet (reproductions). The clay sheet P obtained in this way is shown in FIG. The sound track 7 'is a mirror image of the sound track 7 of the matrix sheet M (see FIG. 21).
Therefore, if the pickup head is moved in the same direction as it was moved during recording, no corresponding reproduction will arise. If you want to obtain reproduced clay sheets in which the soundtracks have the same direction as in the template sheet M, you can generate them by using the clay sheet P made with the aid of the template sheet M as a template sheet.
However, since the strength of the sound recording decreases by about 18 decibels in a transmission from sheet to sheet, if the transmission is repeated twice, a reproduction will ultimately be obtained whose soundtrack is so weak that it is difficult to achieve a sound reproduction of the same Sound has the same scope as the die sheet, even if an adjustment is made, e.g. B. with a volume control of a conventional sound player. In addition, annoying noises and deterioration in quality can occur, so that the plate may be unusable.
To avoid these difficulties, it is preferable to let the disc run in the opposite direction so that the pickup head correctly sweeps over the soundtracks on the first reproduction (see Fig. 22) and a perfect reproduction of the original recording is given. The strength of the recording on the sheet P is about 18 decibels less than that of the stencil plate, since a transfer has taken place; However, this attenuation can easily be compensated for by a volume control, so that practically no difficulties arise.
If the stencil sheet M is recorded against the direction of the arrow 2 in a device that allows two directions of rotation of the disc, and from which its stencil sheet M has been made a sound sheet P, this has the sound tracks in the normal arrangement, as shown in Fig 21 shows and it can be played in a device that allows only one direction of rotation.
Since nowadays the production of reproduced sound sheets is often required from a matrix sheet, it is important that the device for sound recording and reproduction can be operated in two directions of rotation. A sound sheet can also be provided on which two sound tracks 7 "and 7" '(see FIG. 23) are recorded. The sound track 7 "is pulled by the magnetic head 110 in the direction of the arrow 112, while the sound track 7" 'is pulled by the magnetic head 111 in the direction of the arrow 113 (opposite = opposite). Since the columns of the magnetic heads 110 and 111 are each perpendicular to the sound track 7 "and 7" ', there is an angle between the direction of these columns.
Although the sound tracks 7 "and 7" 'intersect - due to the angle mentioned above, they hardly influence each other and they can be used independently of one another to play back the sound recording as it was recorded. The overlap is small in view of the angle mentioned above and the very small width of the gap on the magnetic head, which is, for example, 1/100 mm. If the sound is recorded on a sheet in the forward and backward directions, the playing time is doubled.
In the above, a device has been described with umlau fender disc; the sound recording and playback can also be linear. It is advantageous to provide a display device, e.g. B. an electric lamp or the like, through which the direction of rotation, forward or backward, is displayed. The rotation in the reverse direction can be brought about by reversing the direction of rotation of the associated motor or, if the drive is via a gear train or the like, by providing an additional wheel to reverse the direction of rotation.
In the device shown in FIG. 25, a synchronous motor 114 drives a shaft 115 and the drive wheels 118 and 120 via a rubber wheel 116 and a shaft 117. The wheel 118 is in contact with the rubber wheel 119 and drives it. The drive is transmitted from the wheel 119 to the rotating body 1, which rotates in the direction of arrow 2 and to which a magnetic head a is attached for sound recording or sound reproduction.
In order to reduce the recording speed, the shaft 117 is arranged in such a way that it brings the drive wheel 120, which has a smaller diameter, into contact with the wheel 119 instead of the wheel 118 with a larger diameter during the downward movement. For this movement, the screw 121 is rotated to bring the shaft 117 downwards (the device is not shown in detail).
It is occasionally necessary to reverse the direction of rotation of the rotating disk 1 from the forward direction 2 to the reverse direction 2 ", which is done by reversing the direction of rotation of the motor 114. However, the possibility of reversing only with the motor 114 is not sufficient. Therefore, a device which consists of the button 122 which is connected to the levers 122 ', 123' and 123. The arrangement is such that either the wheel 119 or the wheel 119 'is in contact with the drive wheel to change the direction of rotation.
A switch to control the direction of rotation, forwards or backwards, is interlocked with the movement of the button 122 and the direction of rotation of the motor, forwards or backwards, is determined depending on whether the button 122 is capable of forward or reverse rotation. direction is.
The reason that the loose wheels 119 and 119 'are turned on and off at the same time as the direction of rotation of the motor is changed is that it is necessary to push (not pull) the driving force from the wheel 118 to the rotating body 1 transfer. In other words: the loose wheel 119 or 119 ′ comes between the wheel 118 and the rotating body 1 when it is switched into the drive.
As described above in connection with FIGS. 18 to 20, if you want to set the position of the magnet head to the starting point, the electromagnet 107 is actuated by rotating the rotating body 1, which makes contact with the magnetizable film standing magnetic head separates from this.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 25, the arrangement is such that the levers 123 and 123 ', which carry the wheels 119 and 119', come from the electromagnet via an intermediate lever 124, a chain 125 or the like 107 can be withdrawn so that they are separated from the drive wheels 118 and 120 and the rotating body can rotate freely in both directions to adjust the magnetic head.
When making a sound recording, it is desirable to erase the magnetizable film immediately before recording. For this purpose (see FIG. 26) (viewed in the direction of rotation of arrow 2) are immediately in front of the magnetic heads <I> a, b </I> and c erase heads <I> a ', b' </ I > and c 'provided. With this arrangement, the sound recording by means of the magnetic head a can be carried out in a satisfactory manner immediately after the erasure effected by the erase head ä, the same applies to the erase or sound recording heads b 'and b and c' and c.
However, if the recording is made in the direction of arrow 2 ', the soundtrack of the head a is immediately deleted by the erasing action of the erasing head a, so that a record is not obtained. On the other hand, if the erase head - is switched off, recording by the magnetic head a will not be possible because the remaining sound track is not erased.
27 shows an arrangement in which two erase heads are assigned to each magnetic head <I> a, b </I> and c, one of which each, namely <I> a ', b', </I> c 'in front of and one, <I> ä', b ", c" </I> behind the magnetic head. An erasure immediately preceding the recording can therefore be carried out during operation in one or the other direction. However, this arrangement has the disadvantage that nine heads are required, which increases the cost of manufacture and the friction during operation, which can cause uneven circulation and impairment of the sound quality. In addition, switching the erase heads into two groups is complicated.
It is therefore proposed to use the same erase heads in both directions of rotation so that a satisfactory erasure or subsequent sound is recorded.
An embodiment of this erase head arrangement is illustrated in FIG. A three-armed cross 126 attached concentrically to the disk 1 serves as a carrier for three erase heads E, E 'and E ". The cross 126 can be rotated independently of the disk 1. The three erase heads are arranged at equal angular intervals of 120. The disk 1 has a the magnetic head a a pin 127 and behind this a pin 127 '. When the disk 1 (or the rotating body 1) revolves in the forward direction (direction of arrow 2), the pin 127 comes into contact with an arm of the cross 126 and takes it in the same direction of rotation.
The erase head E is then in front of the magnetic head a and the erase heads E 'and E "in front of the magnetic heads b and c. When the disk 1 is operated in the reverse direction, the cross 126 stops until the pin 127' with the one carrying the erase head E" Arm comes into contact. This erase head is brought into the position in front of the magnetic head a, taking the reverse direction of rotation into account; The same applies to the erase head E and the magnetic head c and for the erase head E 'and the magnetic head b. The cross 126 thus revolves with the disk 1 and, through its erase heads, causes the old audio track to be erased immediately before the sound track is recorded.
The device of FIG. 21 is illustrated in the device of FIG. 10, in which a, b and c magnetic heads (for sound recording and playback) and a ', b', c 'are the erase heads seated on the cross 126.
In the device described, a special device can also be provided which serves as a carrier for the magnetic heads. As already mentioned, the clay sheet and the magnetizable film covering it are relatively wide. It is practically difficult to keep such a clay sheet level over its entire surface. The carrier of the sheet has ideal properties when it is elastic or, in other words, when it has a structure that is loose and firm or tight. As a result, it is inevitable that the covering film has unevenness to some extent.
The magnetic head is held in an elastically flexible manner in the vertical direction, but is fixed in the lateral direction. For this purpose, the magnetic head is housed in a housing in which it is held in fixed guides by means of balls or rollers.
An embodiment of an elastically supported magnetic head is shown in FIG. The magnetic head 128 arranged in the housing 129 contains the coils 130. Vertical supports 131, 131 are provided on the base plate 132. On the inner surface of the one carrier 131 and on the outer surface of the housing 129, grooves 131 'and 129' are provided which have a V-shape or a similar shape. The other (right) carrier 131 contains a pressure piece 135, which has a groove 134 on its inwardly facing side. The ball 133 'is pressed inward by means of the pressure piece 135 and the spring resting on the ball 136.
A spring 138 is arranged under the bottom of the housing 129, the force of which can be adjusted by the screw 138 'and which always pushes the housing upwards. The balls 133 and 133 'lie in the cages 139, 139', which are accommodated in the grooves 131 ', 129'. The movement of the housing 129 beyond the upper ends of the carrier 131 is prevented by the stop plate 140 fastened to a carrier. The arranged in the descriptive manner, the magnetic head 128 ent holding housing 129 can move in the vertical direction Rich due to the ball bearing slightly, while the lateral movement by the V-shaped grooves and the pressure of the spring 137 is prevented.
If you make a sound recording or playback with the above-described magnetic head, a satisfactory result is achieved because the magnetic head 128 is kept under the action of the spring 138 always in intimate contact with the Tonblatt ge, which is under the pressure of the pressure plate. This intimate contact is maintained even if there are unevenness to a certain extent, so that the specified arrangement avoids any impairment of the sound recording or reproduction.
The device described is generally constructed in such a way that it can be used to record and reproduce sound and to delete it; all these processes take place in one device. If very important ge sound recordings are made on certain occasions, errors in the operation of the device when you z. B. wants to play the record, a deletion can be performed, the consequences of which cannot be eliminated. There is also the risk that another overlapping recording will be made on a record with an important recording due to negligence.
In FIGS. 31, 32 and 33 a device is provided by which the consequences of operating errors are rendered ineffective. This device is shown at F (see. Fig. 32): It consists of a hole 141 in the clay sheet M or in the arrangement of a contact or an insulating piece, as described below. A pair of contacts 143 (see FIG. 33) is also provided. The lower end of the push button 145 fastened to the leaf spring 144 rests against one part of the contact 143, while the upper end of the push button 145 protrudes upwards through a recess in the frame 11 and through the hole 141 in the clay sheet M.
In this position the contact at 143 is closed. If the contact pair 143 is in the circuit for the sound recording and in the circuit for the erasure, these processes are not prevented (when the contact is closed). But if the clay sheet is to serve for an important acquisition, the hole 141 in the clay sheet M is closed by gluing a piece of paper 142 (see. Fig. 32 and 33) or in another suitable manner. On the piece of paper 142, the z. B. is advantageously of red color, you can attach a warning label, z. B. Deletion prohibited. But regardless of this warning, since the push button 145 is pressed down through the piece of paper 142 and the contact 143 (cf.
Fig. 34) to open the circuits for recording and erasing is opened, no erroneous re-recording or erasing of the audio sheet occur. On the other hand, playback is not affected in any way, since contact 143 has nothing to do with the sound playback circuit. In a modification of the example described for a device for preventing the old sound recording over covering new sound track and the deletion you can, for.
B. cut off a corner of the clay sheet, provide a recess, spread insulating material on a certain point of the clay sheet or prevent the processes mentioned by providing an electrical circuit that is connected so that it automatically deletes or dubbing the old sound tracks prevented by new sound tracks under the action of a photoelectric tube actuated by filtered light or reflected light.
In the device shown in FIG. 10, the recess in the pressure plate 6, which corresponds to the hole 141 in FIG. 31, is indicated by the reference numeral 146. From FIG. 10, which shows the overall arrangement of the device according to the invention, various additional devices or individual parts can also be seen. The through the screw hole 148 of the housing 93 guided screw has a pointed end, which in the z. B. made of metal, attached to the movable table 105 part 149 engages. By operating this device, the table 105 can be moved without damaging the screw shaft 33.
With 150 a surface or bar is referred to on which the switches for actuation for the amplifier or the like are arranged. The microphone 51 is housed in the housing 93; the control lamp 152 for displaying the operating states of the various circuits of the apparatus and 153 the sound opening of the loudspeaker (not shown) in the housing 154.
